CRAZY TEACHINGS OF MUHAMMAD

CRAZY TEACHINGS OF MUHAMMAD

The teachings of Muhammad are binding on all Muslims. In fact, to reject the teachings of Muhammad is to reject Allah.

Surah 4:80: He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah, but those who turn away – We have not sent you over them as a guardian. (Sahih International)

We will now consider some of the teachings of Muhammad. In some mysterious way, Muhammad discovered the secret place where the Jinns and Devils visit regularly. And he warns his faithful followers of this unseen danger lurking in their homes.

Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 1, Number 0006:

Narrated Zayd ibn Arqam: The Apostle of Allah (pbuh) said: These privies are frequented by the jinns and devils. So when anyone amongst you goes there, he should say: “I seek refuge in Allah from the male and female devils.”

Muslims not only take this teaching of Muhammad seriously but they also act upon it. Accordingly, pious Muslims recite a special prayer in Arabic before entering the toilet. Well, what is the purpose of these Jinns and Devils to frequent the toilets of the Muslims? Is it to answer the call of nature or to spook the residence? Well, the Prophet of Islam does not tell us why. What is puzzling is that since Jinns and Devils are invisible, do they really need the privacy?  Also imagine the consequence of Muslim parents sharing these teachings of Muhammad with their children. Let us now consider how the Jinns sought the help of Muhammad. They wanted Muhammad to stop the Muslims from ruining their appetite.

Sunan Abu-Dawud, Book 1, Hadith 0039:

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Mas’ud: A deputation of the jinn came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: O Muhammad, forbid your community to clean themselves with a bone or dung or charcoal, for in them Allah has provided sustenance for us. So the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade them to do so.

A delegation of Jinns entreated Muhammad to prohibit his followers from using “bone or dung or charcoal” to cleanse themselves after answering the call of nature. Why? It is because Allah has apportioned the bones, dung and charcoal as sustenance for the Jinns. Following the visitation by the delegation of Jinns, Muhammad warned his followers.

Tirmidhi, Hadith Number 350:

Allah’s Messenger said: Do not cleanse yourself with dung or with bones for that is the food of your brothers from amongst the Jinn.

Besides forbidding the Muslims from using dung or bones, Muhammad also revealed that some Jinns are the brothers of the Muslims. Muslims and Jinns are kindred! This explains the carnage we are experiencing worldwide. According to the Qur’an, Allah commanded the mighty Jinns to build palaces and other majestic buildings for King Solomon:

Surah 34:12-13: We subjected the wind to Solomon; its morning course was a month and its evening course a month; and We caused a fount of molten copper to flow for him. And of the jinn there were some who worked under him, by the command of his Lord. If any one of them turned away from Our command, We would make him taste the punishment of the burning fire. They made for him whatever he desired: palaces and statues, basins like reservoirs, and large cooking vessels fixed in their places. (W. Khan)

Now picture these mighty Jinns eating dung during their work-break. Amazingly, these Jinns did not want their dung food to be contaminated by the dung of the Muslims. Even Jinns have their standard. As for Muhammad, he faithfully submitted to the demands of the Jinns. He no longer wiped himself with dung or bones after answering the call of nature. What is the next best thing after dung and bones?

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 4, Number 157:

Narrated Abu Huraira: I followed the Prophet while he was going out to answer the call of nature. He used not to look this way or that. So, when I approached near him he said to me, “Fetch for me some stones for cleaning the privates parts (or said something similar), and do not bring a bone or a piece of dung.” So I brought the stones in the corner of my garment and placed them by his side and I then went away from him. When he finished from answering the call of nature, he used them.

Muhammad used stones to clean his private parts. Unbelievably, all this primitive stone wiping practice was still being carried out by the early Muslims when the Chinese had already invented papers centuries earlier. And Muslims have the audacity to say that Mecca is the center of the Universe. But there is more!  In Islam, cleansing oneself after defecating is not as simple as you may think. Precision is everything. It matters to Allah. Listen carefully to the stern warning of Muhammad.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 4, Number 162:

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, “Whoever performs ablution should clean his nose with water by putting the water in it and then blowing it out, and whoever cleans his private parts with stones should do it with odd number of stones.”

Every normal human being will be puzzled by this teaching of Muhammad. Not only is this teaching weird but also senseless. However, Muslims will find this teaching inspirational.  They will defend the absurdity of Muhammad no matter what. Therefore, do not be surprised if you hear one of the following counter-arguments from Muslim apologists in defense of Muhammad:

Even when it comes to cleansing himself after defecating, Muhammad was careful not to off-set the delicate balance of nature. How did a person living in the Seventh Century know this?

Only a true prophet would have known the dangerous ripple effect on the cosmos if Muslims failed to use the prescribed number of stones to wipe themselves.

Only a true prophet would have known that just a minute miscalculation of the number of stones is enough for Shaitan to destroy the faith of the Muslims.

Only a true prophet would have known that wiping with the wrong number of stones would adversely affect the eternal salvation of the Muslims.

Now for their favorite closing argument:

“Allah knows best.”

Let’s get back into business. Why must it be an odd number of stones? The difference between odd and even is just a single stone. Therefore, in what way will the adding or the subtracting of a single stone affect the salvation of Muslims, especially when its purpose is just to clean one’s private parts? This teaching of Muhammad does not make any sense at all unless we view it in the light of the pagan practice of numerology. Numerology is the science of the occult and it is associated with astrology and divination. The practice of numerology was prevalent among the pre-Islamic tribes of Arabia. And Islamic sources themselves acknowledge that Muhammad was a pagan before his calling as a Prophet of Islam. This clearly proves that the teachings of paganism still had a strong influence on him. He could not break free from the superstitious beliefs of the pagans.

Submitting to the God of Abraham means separating oneself from all forms of superstition. However, Muhammad held on to the beliefs of the pre-Islamic pagans. In fact, some prominent Muslim scholars base their claim for the miraculous nature of the Qur’an on the concept of numerology. Even though Muslims pride themselves that Islam is an Abrahamic religion, they fail to see the extremely superstitious nature of their Prophet. The belief in superstition influenced many of his teachings. The following is a classic example.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 18, Number 167:

Narrated Abu Musa: The sun eclipsed and the Prophet got up, being afraid that it might be the Hour (i.e. Day of Judgment).

The eclipse of the sun is a natural phenomenon caused by the movements of the heavenly bodies. It is common knowledge that eclipses occurs at regular intervals when the moon passes between the earth and the sun. It is also a predictable phenomenon. Eclipses come and eclipses go and the world goes on. However, primitive pagans became terrified whenever they witness a solar eclipse. This fear stems from ignorance and superstition. But, why did Muhammad manifest a similar fear like the pagans? It is because just like the primitive pagans, he too was ignorant and superstitious. A true prophet would have known the truth.

While we are on the subject of stones, it is amusing to note that Islam is the only religion where after kissing a stone, its followers pick up stones to stone a stone representing the Devil. Muhammad also taught that some Jinns could transform themselves into snakes.

Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 41, Number 5236:

Narrated AbuSa’id al-Khudri: “…He then came back and told us that he heard AbuSa’id al-Khudri say: The Apostle of Allah (pbuh) said: Some snakes are jinn; so when anyone sees one of them in his house, he should give it a warning three times. If it returns after that, he should kill it, for it is a devil.”

We can go on citing many more examples of such absurd teachings of Muhammad. However, this is sufficient to measure Muhammad. It is either all or nothing. If you accept Islam as true, then you must also accept all these absurdities that go along with it as true. And the cost is your salvation. Do you think it is still wise to remain in Islam?

SURAH 21:30 – BLUNDER IN THE QUR’AN

SURAH 21:30 – BLUNDER IN THE QUR’AN

Vital evidences from the Qur’an itself prove why Islam cannot be the true religion. Of course, this also rules out Islam’s lone prophet. While there are far too many errors in the Qur’an, we will focus on just one specific blunder that will prove irrefutably why Allah cannot be the true God.

If there are really solid evidences to validate Allah as the true God, he would have surely specified these evidences in the Qur’an. Since there were none, he was unable to provide a single tangible/visible evidence to authenticate his Godship. As a result, he had to appeal to unseen evidences to validate his claim as the true God. Can unseen evidences be used to prove anything? To understand what we mean by this, please read the following Qur’anic verse carefully. In view of the extreme absurdity of this Qur’anic verse, we have provided two different translations:

Surah 21:30: Do the disbelievers not see that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one, before We tore them apart? We made every living thing from water. Will they not then believe? (S. V. Ahamed)

Did those who reject not see that the heavens and the Earth were one piece and We tore them apart? We made from the water everything that lives. Will they not believe? (Monotheist Group)

Can you fathom the utter stupidity of the question raised by Allah in this Qur’anic verse? Allah is asking: “Do the disbelievers not see that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one, before We tore them apart?” Is it really possible for the disbelievers to witness this phenomenon? Read the Qur’anic verse carefully once again. The whole thrust of Allah’s argument is that the disbelievers have no basis whatsoever to reject him because of their having witnessed this phenomenon. Thus, the whole strength of Allah’s defense to counter the disbelievers is based on his assumption that they were eye-witnesses of this phenomenon.

Allah presumes that since the disbelievers had already witnessed this phenomenon of the heavens and the earth being joined together as one before he subsequently separated them, the disbelievers have no excuse for not believing in him. Allah even seems perplexed as to why the disbelievers still do not believe in him even after having witnessed this clear evidence. Note the tone of astonishment in his words:

“Do the disbelievers not see that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one, before We tore them apart? . . . Will they not then believe?”

For the disbelievers to “see that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one before Allah tore them apart,” they will have to actually witness the creation of the universe in stages. This means that the disbelievers must be present not only during the period when the heavens and the earth were joined together as one but these very same individuals must also live on to witness the heavens and the earth being separated subsequently. Moreover, since humans could not have been created before the creation of the heavens and the earth, it is absolutely impossible for the disbelievers to witness this phenomenon. As such, how could Allah then ask: “Will they not then believe?”

Had the Qur’an appealed to the visible creation to prove the existence of an invisible Creator, there would be no cause to fault it. However, since it irrationally demands the disbelievers to believe in Allah on the basis of unseen evidences, it has shown itself to be a product of an ignorant deity. Can anything be more foolish than this? Can unseen evidences be used as evidences to prove anything? Can the existence of someone unseen be proven by evidences that are equally unseen?

Since the disbelievers did not see and could not have seen “the heavens and the earth were joined together before Allah tore them apart,” then according to the very argument put forth in this Qur’anic verse, the disbelievers now have a legitimate reason not to believe in Allah. And so do you. Therefore, this Qur’anic verse is actually providing you with a solid reason not to believe in Allah. And this also means rejecting the religion he inspired. It was certainly foolish of Allah to ask:

“Do the disbelievers not see that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one, before We tore them apart? Will they not then believe?”

The questions raised by Allah are not only illogical but also grossly erroneous. If Allah cannot even ask the right questions, do you think he can give you the right answers? More importantly, can you trust him now with your eternal salvation? However, this absurdity in the Qur’an does not stop here. There is more to it. In fact, Allah also contradicts himself. He contradicts the very words which he revealed in Surah 21:30. Now let us read the contradictory words of Allah in the following Qur’anic verse:

Surah 41:11: Then, He rose over the high heavens when it was smoke: And He said to it and to the earth: “You both come together, willingly or unwillingly.” They both said: “We do come together in willing obedience.” (Syed Vickar Ahamed)

Never mind the fact that the physical heavens and the earth cannot communicate as humans do. The above Qur’anic verse clearly states that during the process of creation, the heavens and the earth existed separately until Allah called them to “come together.” So, were the heavens and the earth joined together as one before Allah separated them (Surah 21:30) or were they originally separate until Allah joined them together? (Surah 41:11) This is just one out of the many contradictions we can find in the Qur’an.

Now contrast the absurdity of Allah with the logical approach Jesus used to authenticate his Messiahship. To prove to the disbelievers that he was truly the Messiah, Jesus provided tangible evidences:

John 10:25: Jesus answered them: “I told you, and yet you do not believe. The works that I am doing in my Father’s name, these bear witness about me.

Jesus appealed to the miraculous works that he performed publicly to validate his anointing as the promised Messiah. It is essential to remember that both the miraculous works of Jesus and his status as the Messiah is acknowledged in the Qur’an.

His Miracles:

Surah 3:49: And Jesus said: “I have been appointed as a Prophet to the Jewish nation. I am blessed by my Lord with the following miracles: I will restore the vision to the blind, heal the leprous and bring dead back to life by the will of the Lord. I will tell you what you eat and what you have stored at the privacy of your home. All these miracles are in order to convince those who believe in God.” (Bijan Moeinian)

His Messiahship:

Surah 3:45: When the angels said, O Mary, your Lord gives you good news of a Word from Him. His name is the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, honored in this world and in the next and one of those who are granted nearness to God. (W. Khan)

Jesus appealed to the visible (his miraculous works) to prove the invisible (the truthfulness of his claim as the Messiah). Allah could have done the same. Instead, Allah did the very opposite. He appealed to the invisible because he could not provide any visible evidence to validate his Godship. We will now compare the foolishness of Allah with the wisdom of the true God. Jehovah God wisely used the visible to prove the invisible.

Hebrews 3:4: “Of course, every house is constructed by someone, but he that constructed all things is God.”

Using simple logic, the Bible reasons that just as a house cannot come into existence by itself without a builder (seen), neither can the universe come into existence by itself without a Creator (unseen). The visible to prove the invisible. In contrast, the Qur’an foolishly attempts to prove the invisible with the invisible. Worse still, the Qur’an demands that the disbelievers exercise faith in Allah on the basis of something that is logically impossible for them to perceive. Ironically, the very basis for demanding us to exercise faith in Allah has provided us with a valid reason not to believe in him. Allah simply cannot be the Creator. There are many more such evidences in the Qur’an to prove through and through why Islam is false and Allah is an impostor. That is why he had to choose an illiterate as his prophet. Others would have called his bluff.

ALLAH IN WONDERLAND

ALLAH IN WONDERLAND

There are many fascinating Fairy Tales in the Qur’an. However, we will focus on the amazing story of “Allah in Wonderland” in this article. This story has fascinated both children and adults alike. This Fairy Tale was dictated word for word by Allah in the 27th Surah of the Qur’an.

The story is divided into two episodes. In the first episode of “Allah in Wonderland,” the Qur’an introduces us to the army of King Solomon. Besides humans, this army includes Jinns and Birds. And to excite us even further, Allah also included the amazing character of the “Talking Ant” in this story. Many Muslims express deep emotional feelings when this amazing story of the “Talking Ant” is recited to them. Some even shed tears. They are moved by the affection of this Ant who warns others of any imminent danger. Read how this vigilant Ant lovingly cries out to her fellow-ants: “O ants! Enter your dwellings lest Solomon and his armies crush you, unperceiving.” Without further ado, let’s begin.

Once upon a time . . .

Surah 27:17-19: . . . There were gathered together unto Solomon his armies of the jinn and humankind, and of the birds, and they were set in battle order; till, when they reached the Valley of the Ants, an Ant exclaimed: O ants! Enter your dwellings lest Solomon and his armies crush you, unperceiving. And Solomon smiled, laughing at her speech, and said: My Lord, arouse me to be thankful for Thy favor wherewith Thou hast favored me and my parents, and to do good that shall be pleasing unto Thee. (Pickthall)

This story will be amusing if not for the claim that it was divinely inspired, word for word, by Allah. Now we have a problem. Communicating such as this is only possible when a species has considerable thinking power and intelligence. And to converse such sophisticated information to other ants would require a language system comparable to human intelligence.

This Ant could even distinguish between Solomon and his soldiers. It knows that one among them is special. And it knows his name is Solomon. This Ant even knows that Solomon is the commander of the armies since it uses the possessive pronoun, “his armies.” Furthermore, this Ant also knows the difference between intentional and unintentional behavior. It knows that Solomon’s armies will not crush the ants deliberately but may do so “unperceiving.” How did this Ant get all this information, as well as all the other details? Was Solomon formally introduced to this Ant before? Now we have more than a Talking Ant. We have a Talking Ant with psychic powers.

Also, how is it possible for Solomon to understand what the Ant was saying when ants do not have a spoken language. Even if Muslims were to claim that Solomon was gifted with miraculous perception of the speech of ants, it will still not be possible if there is no speech to perceive in the first place. But why spoil a good Fairy Tale with logic. We must admit that if not for the blood-spilling verses in the Qur’an, it would top Grimm’s Fairy Tales. It may even be acclaimed as one of the best bedtime stories. If Muslims are not blowing themselves up and killing us over these Fairy Tales, we can actually sit back and enjoy these amazing stories while sipping some coffee. Wait a minute, there is more!

In Episode Two, the amazing story of the “Talking Hoopoe Bird” is introduced to us. This fascinating Hoopoe not only praises and glorifies Allah but it could even recite the Islamic creed: “There is no god but Allah.” However, we are not told whether it was born into a Muslim family or converted to Islam at some later stage. We are also not told whether it was circumcised as required by Islam? Anyway, Allah knows best. This pious feathered Muslim tolerates no rivalry by those who worship others besides Allah. Having a solid foundation in the Scriptures of Islam, the Hoopoe understands that it is Shaitan who causes others to turn away from worshipping Allah.

Besides religious knowledge, this amazing Hoopoe also knows some geography. It knows the names of the countries it visits. However, as a regular in Solomon’s army, it is liable for punishment if it goes AWOL. It cannot risk flying from Jerusalem to Ethiopia without the official authorization of King Solomon. Rules are rules. Now read the amazing story of the Talking Hoopoe Bird.

EPISODE TWO

Surah 27:20-30: Solomon reviewed the birds, and then said: How is it I see not the hoopoe or is it that he is of the absentees? I will most certainly punish him with a severe punishment, or kill him, or he shall bring to me a clear plea.

And he [the Hoopoe Bird] tarried not long, then said: I comprehend that which you do not comprehend and I have brought to you a sure information from Sheba. Surely I found a woman ruling over them, and she has been given abundance and she has a mighty throne: I found her and her people adoring the sun instead of Allah, and the Shaitan has made their deeds fair-seeming to them and thus turned them from the way, so they do not go aright. That they do not make obeisance to Allah, Who brings forth what is hidden in the heavens and the earth and knows what you hide and what you make manifest: Allah, there is no god but He: He is the Lord of mighty power.

He [Solomon] said: We will see whether you have told the truth or whether you are of the liars: Take this my letter and hand it over to them, then turn away from them and see what answer they return.

She [Queen of Sheba] said: O chief! Surely an honorable letter has been delivered to me. Surely it is from Solomon and surely it is in the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. (Shakir)

Thanks to the missionary zeal of the Hoopoe, the Queen of Sheba finally submitted to Islam. She and Solomon lived happily ever after. The End.

If only the world is really made of fairy tales, these stories would be truly inspirational. But it is not. Coming back to the real world, you will be surprised to learn how the Qur’an itself admits that those who knew Muhammad personally recognized the fact that he was slotting “fables” into the Qur’an. And these “fables” were familiar to them:

Surah 8:31: And when Our Revelation is recited to them they say, “We have heard all this before. We could say something like this if we wanted. This is nothing but ancient fables.” (A. Haleem)

Imagine Muslims killing themselves and others over these Fairy Tales. Is it really wise to remain in Islam? For more absurdities in the teachings of Islam, please click the following link: TWELVE AMAZING FACTS TO LEAVE ISLAM

SURAH 65:4 – LICENSE TO RAPE

SURAH 65:4 – LICENSE TO RAPE

According to the teachings of Allah in the Qur’an, Muslim men are authorized to marry prepubescent girls. This authorization includes the right to engage in sexual intercourse with their prepubescent child brides. Islam legitimizes this gross sexual violation against children as acceptable code of conduct for Muslim men. It legitimizes this depraved sexual behavior by incorporating this immoral act within the framework of marriage. By authorizing Muslim men to engage in sex with minors, Islam legitimizes both rape and pedophilia in its theology. Through a single verse in the Qur’an, Allah grants Muslim men the license to rape children.

In order to understand how the raping of children is legalized in Islam, we must begin with Surah 65:4. This Qur’anic verse stipulates a waiting period which a divorced Muslim woman must observe before she can remarry. This waiting period is known as Iddah” or Iddat in Islamic terminology. The purpose of this waiting period is to determine if the woman is pregnant or not at the time of her divorce. This is to ensure the identity of the father of any children born after the annulment of the marriage. To confirm that this waiting period is related to the procedure of divorce in Islam, we will first read Surah 65:1.

Surah 65:1: O Prophet! If you and the believers divorce your wives, divorce them at the end of their prescribed periods, and count their prescribed periods accurately. (Farook Malik)

The above Qur’anic verse provides the context for Surah 65:4. The duration of the waiting period is specified in Surah 65:4. It separates the divorced women into three different categories. Let us consider now the prescribed waiting period for the three categories of women:

Surah 65:4: In the case of those of your wives who have passed the age of menstruation, if you have any doubt, know that their waiting period is three months; and that will apply likewise to those who have not yet menstruated; the waiting period of those who are pregnant will be until they deliver their burden (give birth). (W. Khan)

Hilali-Khan’s translation makes it even clearer:

And those of your women as have passed the age of monthly courses, for them the ‘Iddah, if you have doubts is three months, and for those who have no courses (i.e. they are still immature) their ‘Iddah is three months likewise… And for those who are pregnant, their ‘Iddah is until they deliver (their burdens).” (Hilali-Khan)

In the first category are the women who have passed the age of menstruation due to their old age. Their waiting period is three months. In the second category are “those who have not yet menstruated.” This category consists of prepubescent girls who have yet to menstruate due to their young age. Their iddah is also three months. It is the divorced wives in this category who will be the focus of our discussion. In the third category are the women who are pregnant at the time of their divorce. Their prescribed iddah is until they give birth to the child. However, there is an exception to this requirement. This exception can be found in the following Qur’anic verse:

Surah 33:49: “O you who believe! When you marry believing women, and then divorce them before you have sexual intercourse with them, no ‘Iddah (divorce prescribed period, see Surah 65:4) have you to count in respect of them. So give them a present, and set them free i.e. divorce, in a handsome manner.” (Hilali-Khan)

If a woman is divorced before the occurrence of any sexual act between her and her husband, then she is not required to observe the stipulated waiting period. Surah 33:49 helps us to understand that the requirement of the waiting period is very much dependant on the sexual consummation of the marriage. In other words, no sex means no waiting period. Let us read another translation of Surah 33:49 to confirm this fact:

Surah 33:49: Believers, if you marry believing women, and divorce them before the marriage is consummated, you are not required to observe a waiting period. (W. Khan)

This Qur’anic verse is vital since it reveals that the prescribed waiting period is not obligatory in circumstances where a husband divorces his wife before the event of any sexual act between them. However, the waiting period is mandatory when the marriage is consummated. Therefore, by stating that the waiting period for those who have not yet menstruated is three months, Surah 65:4 actually substantiates the fact that sexual intercourse had already occurred between the prepubescent girls and their husbands. By permitting men to engage in sexual intercourse with minors, Islam legitimizes an act that is categorized as rape by the rest of the civilized world. Islam sanctions this serious sexual crime by classifying it as marriage.

Surah 65:4 lays down the rules for the prescribed waiting period after a divorce takes effect. What is extremely troubling is the waiting period for prepubescent girls. Can you comprehend the damaging implication of this Qur’an verse? Through this single Qur’anic verse, Allah grants Muslim men the license to rape children. This single Qur’anic verse grants Muslim men the right to:

  • Marry young girls who have yet to reach the age of puberty.
  • Engage in sexual intercourse with these prepubescent child brides.
  • And divorce these child brides when they are through with them sexually.

Since the purpose of the waiting period is to determine pregnancy, this confirms the shocking reality that Muslim men are authorized to engage in sexual intercourse with their prepubescent child wives. Think! If these child brides had not even reached puberty at the time of their divorce, imagine how young they must have been at the time of their marriage. The important issue that we need to bear in mind is that Islam authorizes Muslim men to engage in sexual intercourse with children. And the husbands can divorce their child brides after they are through with them sexually. Well, what other reason could there be for a man to marry a child? Can she take on the wifely duties of a matured wife?

The secular laws of civilized nations declare that it is unlawful to engage in sexual intercourse with minors – with or without their consent. This sexual crime is legally classified as statutory rape. Thus, Surah 65:4 bears witness to the irrefutable truth that the raping of minors is sanctioned in Islam. The license to rape children is clearly authorized in the Qur’an.

It is mind-boggling how this religion can get away with this amount of filthiness in it. How can decent Muslims not see this? We are talking about one of the most despicable acts that only the most depraved are capable of committing. Yet, it is an act that is not only sanctioned by Allah but also set as an example by the Prophet of Islam. Ignore the legitimacy that Islam tries to give this evil practice by classifying it as marriage. The only legitimacy that this marriage grants a pedophile is the license to rape his victim as often as he wishes. He can now commit this despicable act with an untroubled conscience within the security of his home. Whatever trace of guilt that a pedophile may have had before will now be obliterated by the sanctification of this marriage in Islam. Islam protects the pedophile by granting him the right to carry out his sexual depravity without fear of punishment. Islam is a pedophile’s paradise. Concerning this depraved act, a well-known Muslim scholar stated:

No one has the right to forbid a thing that the Qur’an has held as permissible.”

As usual, Muslim apologists will deny all these evidences and claim that there has to be some other explanation for Surah 65:4. In order to expose their lies, we will now consider the Tafsirs (Commentaries) of renowned Muslim scholars. These Muslim scholars are the heavyweights of Islam. Quoted below are the significant parts of their Tafsirs that is vital to our discussion.

Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi is one of Islam’s foremost scholars. In his Commentary on Surah 65:4, he gave the following clarifications regarding sex with prepubescent children.

Tafhim al Qur’an, Volume 5, p. 620, note 13:

Here, one should bear in mind the fact that according to the explanations given in the Quran the question of the waiting period arises in respect of the women with whom marriage may have been consummated, for there is no waiting-period in case divorce is pronounced before the consummation of marriage. (Al-Ahzab: 49). Therefore, making mention of the waiting-period for girls who have not yet menstruated, clearly proves that it is not only permissible to give away the girl at this age but it is permissible for the husband to consummate marriage with her. Now, obviously no Muslim has the right to forbid a thing which the Qur’an has held as permissible.”

This great Muslim scholar confirms the fact that not only does the Qur’an authorize Muslim men to marry prepubescent girls but they are also authorized to consummate the marriage. In other words, they are authorized to engage in sexual intercourse with their prepubescent child wives. Maududi also warns that no Muslims have the right to forbid what Allah has authorized in the Qur’an. If Allah grants Muslim men the right to rape little girls, then all is well and good.

Ibn Kathir (1300 CE-1373 CE) is another great Muslim scholar. His works are extensively used in many institutions of higher learning in the Muslim world. Let us consider his Commentary on Surah 65:4.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir on Surah 65:4:

The `Iddah of Those in Menopause and Those who do not have Menses Allah the Exalted clarifies the waiting period of the woman in menopause. And that is the one whose menstruation has stopped due to her older age. Her `Iddah is three months instead of the three monthly cycles for those who menstruate, which is based upon the Ayah in Surah Al-Baqarah. (See S. 2:228) The same for the young, who have not reached the years of menstruation. Their `Iddah is three months like those in menopause. This is the meaning of His saying.”

We will now consider the Commentary of Al-Jalalayn. His Tafsir is recognized as one of the most important exegeses of the Qur’an. Its importance can be seen by the fact that it has been translated into many languages. Among them are languages such as English, French, Bengali, Urdu, Malay/Indonesian, Persian, Turkish and Japanese.

Tafsir Al-Jalalayun on Surah 65:4:

And as for those of your women who (read allā’ī or allā’i in both instances) no longer expect to menstruate, if you have any doubts, about their waiting period, their prescribed waiting period shall be three months, and also for those who have not yet menstruated, because of their young age, their period shall also be three months.

Al-Tabari (839 CE–923 CE) was one of Islam’s earliest historians. He was a well-respected Islamic scholar who is recognized for his expertise in both the Tafsirs of the Qur’an and the History of Islam. In his Commentary on Surah 65:4, Al-Tabari wrote the following exegesis.

Tafsir Al-Tabari XIV:142:

The interpretation of the verse: “And those of your women as have passed the age of monthly courses, for them the ‘Iddah (prescribed period), if you have doubt (about their periods), is three months. The same applies to the ‘idaah for girls who do not menstruate because they are too young, if their husbands divorce them after consummating the marriage with them.”

All the above Tafsirs by the great scholars of Islam substantiate the fact that Muslim men are allowed to rape their prepubescent child wives. Otherwise, the requirement to observe the waiting period will not be necessary. Muslim apologists who deny the authorization of this evil practice in Islam are clearly deceiving us to conceal the shame of Islam. However, we are not through with them yet. The following Hadiths also collaborate with the above Tafsirs of the early scholars of Islam.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 63:

Narrated Sahl bin Sad: The Prophet said, “Go, I have agreed to marry her to you with what you know of the Qur’an as her Mahr.” “And for those who have no courses (i.e. they are still immature). (Sura 65:4) And the ‘Iddat for the girl before puberty is three months as stated in the above Verse.”

Giving away children in marriage became permissible in Islam by reason of Allah’s decree in Surah 65:4. Not only the approval of child marriage is taught in the Qur’an but Muhammad himself set the example when he married young Aisha. Muhammad married Aisha when she was only six. He consummated the marriage when he was fifty-four and she was nine.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 64:

Narrated By ‘Aisha: That the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death).

Sahih Muslim, Book 008, Number 3309:

‘Aisha (Allah be pleased with her) reported: Allah’s Messenger (pbuh) married me when I was six years old, and I was admitted to his house at the age of nine.

Sunan Abu Dawud, Volume 2, Hadith Number 2116:

Aisha said, ‘The Apostle of Allah married me when I was seven years old.’ (The narrator Sulaiman said: “Or six years.”). “He had intercourse with me when I was 9 years old.”

We have provided evidences from three different scholars of Islam. Their Hadiths are recognized as the most authentic in the Muslim world. All three testify that Aisha was nine years old when Muhammad had sexual intercourse with her. Do not be deceived when Muslim apologists claim otherwise. Islamic sources prove that Aisha was still a prepubescent child when Muhammad consummated the marriage with her. We will now look at the evidences which confirm that Aisha was still a prepubescent child when Muhammad first had sexual intercourse with her.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 73, Number 151:

Narrated ‘Aisha: I used to play with the dolls in the presence of the Prophet, and my girl friends also used to play with me. When Allah’s Apostle used to enter (my dwelling place) they used to hide themselves, but the Prophet would call them to join and play with me. (The playing with the dolls and similar images is forbidden, but it was allowed for ‘Aisha at that time, as she was a little girl, not yet reached the age of puberty.) (Fateh-al-Bari page 143, Vol.13)

Sahih Muslim, Book 008, Number 3311:

‘A’isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Allah’s Apostle (peace be upon him) married her when she was seven years old, and she was taken to his house as a bride when she was nine, and her dolls were with her; and when he (the Holy Prophet) died she was eighteen years old.

Sunan Nas’ai, Book of Marriage, Number 3256:

A’ishah said: The Apostle of Allah peace be upon him married me when I was six and had intercourse with me when I was nine and I was playing with dolls.”

Sahih Muslim, Book 031, Number 5981:

Aisha reported that she used to play with dolls in the presence of Allah’s Messenger and when her playmates came to her they left (the house) because they felt shy of Allah’s Messenger whereas Allah’s Messenger sent them to her.

In summary, the above Hadiths reveal the following vital facts:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 64: Muhammad married Aisha when she was six-years-old and she was taken to his house as a bride when she was nine.

Sahih Muslim, Book 008, Number 3311: Aisha still had her dolls with her when she was taken to Muhammad’s house as a bride.

Sunan Nas’ai, Book of Marriage, Number 3256: Aisha was still playing with her dolls when Muhammad had intercourse with her.

Sahih Muslim, Book 031, Number 5981: Aisha was still playing with her dolls even after the consummation of her marriage.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 73, Number 151: While playing with the dolls is forbidden in Islam, it was allowed for Aisha as she has not yet reached the age of puberty at that time of her marriage.

Thus, it becomes clear that Aisha was still a prepubescent child when Muhammad first had sex with her. The famous Islamic scholar, Al-Khattaabee confirmed this when he clearly stated:

“The only reason why permission in this (playing with dolls) was given to ‘Aa’isha is because she had not, at that time, reached the age of puberty.”

Many are deceived into believing that Islam authorizes sexual intercourse with the child brides only after attain puberty. In other words, only after the child brides began their menses. This is a lie. Surah 65:4 clearly authorizes Muslim men to engage in sex with their child brides before they even reach puberty. And the scholars of Islam concur with this teaching. Many are also misled into believing that Muhammad waited until Aisha reached puberty before he had sex with her. As we have noted, Islamic records prove otherwise. These authentic Islamic sources prove that he had sex with her before she began her menses. The undeniable fact is that Muhammad had sex with Aisha while she was still a child. The Qur’an allows this, Muhammad did this, Aisha confirms this, and the scholars of Islam affirm this. Now, the children of Islam have to deal with this perversion of Islam.

Muslims are commanded to imitate the example of Muhammad. In keeping with this commandment, Muslims maintain this same destructive practice until today. Following are excerpts taken from an interview with Dr. Ahmad Al-Mu’bi who is a Saudi marriage officiant. Listen carefully to his words:

It is allowed to marry a girl at the age of one, if sex is postponed. The Prophet Muhammad, whose model we follow, married ‘Aisha when she was six and had sex with her when she was nine.’” (Source: Aired on LBC TV (Lebanon) – June 19, 2008)

Islam sanctions the raping of children – the most abominable of all sexual crimes. This places Islam in a far darker and contemptible position than we have been led to believe. Sex with children is rape. Period! Therefore, any support for Islam means the same as supporting the sexual exploitation of children. Muhammad’s teachings on the laws of marriage as well as his own participation in it have resulted in the victimization of millions of children today. Muhammad established an appalling standard for Islam. Muslim parents blindly hand over their daughters to be raped – legally. This is grossly wicked and should not be condoned. Therefore, to support Islam is to support rape and pedophilia.

THE PEDOPHILE PROPHET

Pedophilia is defined as a “sexual deviation of being sexually attracted to prepubescent children.” Pedophilia is considered as a serious crime in all civilized societies. Of course, the exception being Islam where it is sanctioned in its theology. By legitimizing marriage with minors, Islam authorizes pedophilia within its theology. Muslims cannot condemn pedophilia simply because this would only draw attention to the sexual perversion of the founder of Islam. As a result of Muhammad’s marriage to young Aisha, the sexual exploitation of children under the guise of marriage is widespread in many Islamic countries.

Sheikh Hamoud Hashim, general secretary of the Vice and Virtue Committee in Yemen stated:

Because this happened to the Prophet, we cannot tell people that it is prohibited to marry at an early age.” (Source: BBC NEWS: Published on 6 November 2008)

Muslims cannot condemn pedophilia without denying the teachings of Islam. Muslims venerate Muhammad to the extent that they are unable to condemn pedophilia as a result of his association with it. If Muhammad is considered as a perfect example then Muslims must also consider him as the perfect pedophile. That is why pedophilia – in the guise of marriage – is widespread in many Muslim countries. Muhammad should be judged as a man who established child abuse as a norm in Islam. The divine standards established in Christianity are far superior when it comes to protecting children. While Jesus loved children and spoke highly of their innocence, Muhammad made love to children and robbed them of their innocence:

Matthew 18:1-4: In that hour the disciples came near to Jesus and said: “Who really is greatest in the Kingdom of the heavens?” So calling a young child to him, he stood him in their midst and said: “Truly I say to you, unless you turn around and become as young children, you will by no means enter into the Kingdom of the heavens. Therefore, whoever will humble himself like this young child is the one who is the greatest in the Kingdom of the heavens.”

And Jesus warns:

Mark 9:42: “Whoever causes one of these little children who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung round his neck and he were thrown into the sea.”

Muslims need to honestly evaluate their religion. Did the teachings of Islam mold Muhammad’s behavior or did Muhammad shape Islam into his image? In other words, is the Qur’an a reflection of his character? As defined earlier, a pedophile is one who feels sexually attracted towards children. Did Muhammad have this weakness which he then projected into the teachings of the Qur’an? Is this the reason why sex with prepubescent children is taught in the Qur’an? Is this the reason why the Qur’an sanctions pedophilia? For this to be true, it must be proven beyond doubt that Muhammad did indeed display the unmistakable characteristics of a pedophile. Did he? To begin, Aisha was not the only child Muhammad had his eyes on. He had his eyes on two other infants.

Infant Number One:

Ibn Ishaq: Suhayli, ii. 79:

“In the riwaya of Yunus Ibn Ishaq it is recorded that the apostle saw her (Ummu’lFadl) when she was a baby crawling before him and said, ‘If she grows up and I am still alive I will marry her.’ But he died before she grew up…” (A Translation of Ishaq’s Sirat Rasul Allah by A. Guillaume)

Infant Number Two:

Musnad Ahmad, Hadith Number 25636:

Muhammad saw Um Habiba the daughter of Abbas while she was fatim (age of nursing) and he said, “If she grows up while I am still alive, I will marry her.”

Muslims should step out of the shoes of Islam and look at their Prophet objectively. What kind of man would look at crawling babies and suckling infants and express his desire to marry them? What was on his mind when he expressed his desire to marry them? Does not this indicate that he was attracted to the infants the very moment he laid his eyes on them? Otherwise, why would he express his desire to marry them? His affair with young Aisha serves as a window into the sexual orientation of this man. He married her when she was six and sexually assaulted her when she was nine. Fortunately for Ummu’lFadl, Muhammad died before he could marry her. In the case of Um Habiba, Muhammad actually proposed to marry her but it was discovered that she was his foster niece.

The History of Al-Tabari, Volume IX: 140:

He proposed to Umm Habib bt. al-‘Abbas b. ‘Abd al-Muttalib, but discovered that al-‘Abbas was his foster-brother; Thuwaybah had nursed them both.”

Here we have two instances (besides Aisha) where a man well over fifty had his eyes on two infants with marriage in view. Now, don’t you think that’s a problem? Can this man truly be a prophet of God? These are the only two records of potential infant victims that are available to us. How many other children did this pervert lust after? Only God knows! The fact that Muhammad twice dreamed about Aisha when she was still a baby, shows the pedophilic nature of this man. These were not dreams but sexual fantasies of a pedophile.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 15:

Narrated By ‘Aisha: Allah’s Apostle said (to me), “You have been shown to me twice in my dreams. A man was carrying you in a silken cloth and said to me, ‘This is your wife.’ I uncovered it; and behold, it was you. I said to myself, ‘If this dream is from Allah, He will cause it to come true.’”

If this is not a sexual fantasy of a pedophile then what is it? Aisha was only a baby when Muhammad had this dream – twice. Notice the craving in his words, “If this dream is from Allah, He will cause it to come true.” To even think of a baby in terms of a wife is both outrageous and shocking. There is more!

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 173:

Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah: The Prophet said, “If you enter your town at night after coming from a journey, do not enter upon your family till the woman whose husband was absent from the house shaves her pubic hair and the woman with unkempt hair, combs her hair.”

Why would a Prophet of God involve himself with the intimate affairs between a husband and his wife? Why would he offer such intrusive direction to the husband to wait until his wife shaves her pubic hair? Is it to ensure that her vagina resembles like that of a young child? Does this not reveal Muhammad’s own inner cravings? What theological reasons could there be for this otherwise meaningless instruction? Sometimes even the most cautious serpent slips up. And Muhammad was no exception as the following Hadith shows.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 62, Number 17:

Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah: When I got married, Allah’s Apostle said to me, “What type of lady have you married?” I replied, “I have married a matron.” Allah’s Apostle said, “Why didn’t you marry a young girl so that you might play with her and she with you?”

Can we ever imagine Jesus giving such instructions to his disciples? It is unthinkable! To sexually molest a child is evil. To sexually molest a child while proclaiming to be a prophet of God is exceedingly evil. As a human, Muhammad may have had his weaknesses but what excuse does Allah have to sanction both rape and pedophilia in the Qur’an? There are many more dirty little secrets in Islam. You will be surprised to learn that not only are Muslim men authorized to rape children but they are also authorized to rape women who are not their legal wives. This authorization comes from another verse in the Qur’an. Please click the following link to learn this shocking truth about Islam:

WHY DID ALLAH CURSE MUHAMMAD?

WHY DID ALLAH CURSE MUHAMMAD?

Death is a tragedy. It brings unbearable pain and sorrow when someone we love dies. As Christians, we will never take pleasure in the death of anyone – not even the death of our enemies. This is in line with the teachings of Jesus Christ who taught us to love our enemies:

Matthew 5:44: However, I say to you: “Continue to love your enemies and to pray for those who persecute you.”

The Bible also teaches that the true God does not take delight in the death of anyone – not even the death of someone wicked. Of course, as a righteous Judge it is incumbent upon the true God to judge and execute unrepentant evil-doers. Even then he does not take pleasure in their deaths:

Ezekiel 18:23: “Do I take any pleasure at all in the death of a wicked person?” declares the Sovereign Lord Jehovah. “Do I not prefer that he turn away from his ways and keep living?”

In imitation of Jehovah their God, true Christians do not take delight in the death of any human being – not even the death of their enemies. In contrast, it is not uncommon to find Muslims rejoicing and celebrating the death of those outside their faith – especially Christians. Muslims in Islamic countries literally danced on the streets when the World Trade Center collapsed in the United States. This is just one example out of the many. However, their venom is especially reserved for those who are converts from Islam to Christianity. Death can come suddenly and for various reasons. No one is immune. But, if a convert from Islam were to die, say for example from cancer, we can instantly hear a chorus of Muslims singing: “His death is a curse from Allah for leaving Islam.” For this to be true, no Muslims should ever die from cancer. This same rule applies to all other causes. If a convert from Islam were to die in an accident and if Muslims view this tragedy as a punishment from Allah, then no Muslims should ever die in an accident. Only then Muslims can justify their claim as true.

Muslims are ignorant of the principle of consistency. Let us see what happens when we apply the same reasoning of the Muslims to the circumstances surrounding the death of their Prophet. Well, how did Muhammad die? The answer can be found in early Islamic sources. It may come as a shock for Muslims to learn that evidences from both the Qur’an and from authentic Islamic sources testify that Muhammad died an agonizing death as a result of Allah’s curse on him. Islamic sources confirm that Muhammad was executed by Allah. If you as a Muslim find this unbelievable, we encourage you to read this article carefully. Your salvation may depend on your taking the initiative to examine this article.

THE AGONIZING DEATH OF MUHAMMAD

Let’s start at the very beginning. Muhammad and his men attacked and captured the Jewish settlement of Khaibar. A Jewish woman whose family had been killed by the Muslims invited Muhammad and his men for dinner. Besides seeking to avenge the death of her loved ones, she also wanted to test the legitimacy of Muhammad’s prophethood. She wanted to see if Allah would save him. Unknown to Muhammad, she poisoned the lamb which she served at dinner. Muhammad accepted her invitation and eventually died from the effects of that poison.

Numerous authentic Islamic sources confirm that Muhammad died as a result of the Jewish poison. When nearing death, Muhammad himself testified over and over again that the cause of his impending death was the poison he ate at Khaibar. And he repeatedly stated that he could feel his aorta being cut off from that poison. To understand the historical context of this event, we need to examine the Tafsir of Al-Baidawi. He was one of the greatest Islamic expositors of the Qur’an. His works are recognized by all contemporary scholars of Islam. Writing about the circumstances leading to the poisoning of Muhammad by a Jewish woman, he wrote:

When Khaybar was conquered, and the people felt secure, Zainab Bint al-Harith, Salam Ibn Mishkam’s wife, went about asking which part of the lamb was Muhammad’s favorite to eat. People told her, “It is the front leg, for it is the best part and the farthest from harm.” So she took a lamb, slaughtered it, and cut it up. Then she took a deadly poison that kills instantly and poisoned the lamb, putting more poison in the leg and shoulder. At sun set, Muhammad led the people in the evening prayer. When he finished he wanted to go, but she was sitting at his feet.

He asked her, and she said, “O Abu al-Qasim, here is a gift I have for you.” Muhammad ordered some of his friends to take it from her, and it was put before him in the presence of his friends, among whom was Bishr Ibn al-Bara’ Ibn Ma’rur. Muhammad said, “Come near and be seated.” Muhammad took the leg and ate, too. When Muhammad had swallowed his bite, Bishr swallowed his, and the rest of the people ate of it. (Abdallha Abd Al-Fadi, Is The Koran Infallible, pp. 378-381. Quoting from the Tafsir of Al-Baidawi)

The following Hadiths reveal how Muhammad reacted to this attempt on his life. But more importantly, they also disclose how the poison affected Muhammad adversely resulting in his death.

Sunan Abu Dawud, Volume 5, Hadith 4512:

“A Jewish woman in Khaibar gave him a roasted sheep that she had poisoned, and the Messenger of Allah ate from it, as did the people. He said: ‘Lift up your hands (meaning, stop eating), for it has told me that it is poisoned. Bishr bin A1-Barã’ bin Ma’rur AlAnsãrI died (of that poison), and he sent word to the Jewish woman: asking: ‘What made you do what you did?’ She said: If you were a Prophet it would not harm you, and if you were a king the people would have been rid of you.’ The Messenger of Allah ordered that she be killed, then he said during his final illness: ‘I continued to feel pain because of the morsel that I ate at Khaibar, but now it has cut off my aorta.” (Hasan)

It is important for Muslims to take careful note of the words of Muhammad. He said: “I continued to feel pain because of the morsel that I ate at Khaibar, but now it has cut off my aorta.” The aorta is also known as the life artery. Let us now examine another Hadith. Umm Mubashshir was the mother of Bishr who died shortly after eating the poisonous meat at Khaibar with Muhammad. When Muhammad was sick and dying, Umm Mubashshir visited him and asked: “O Messenger of Allah, what do you think is the cause of your illness?” Take careful note of Muhammad’s reply.

Sunan Abu Dawud, Volume 5, Hadith 4513:

Umm Mubashshir said to the Prophet during his final illness: ‘O Messenger of Allah, what do you think is the cause of your illness? I cannot think of anything that caused my son’s illness except the poisoned sheep that he ate with you at Khaibar.’ The Prophet said: And I do not think that there is anything wrong with me except that, and now it has cut off my aorta.’” (Sahih)

Once again Muhammad testified that his aorta has been cut off by the poison he ate at Khaibar. Thus, he repeatedly confirmed that he is dying because of the effects of that poison. We will now consider the historical records of Al-Tabari.

Al-Tabari, Volume 8, p. 124:

The Messenger of God said during the illness from which he died —the mother of Bishr b. al-Bara had come in to visit him— “Umm Bishr, at this very moment I feel my aorta being severed because of the food I ate with your son at Khaybar.”

As we can note, various Islamic sources testify repeatedly that Muhammad felt his aorta being severed from the poison he ate at Khaibar. Let us look at another Hadith. As death approached, Muhammad also confided to his favorite wife the cause of his impending death. Notice carefully the words of Muhammad to Aisha.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 5, Book 59, Hadith 713:

Narrated ‘Aisha: The Prophet in his ailment in which he died, used to say, “O ‘Aisha! I still feel the pain caused by the food I ate at Khaibar, and at this time, I feel as if my aorta is being cut from that poison.”

It is important to note that the words “as if” in the above Hadith is not in the original Arabic text. The original Arabic text reads as follows: “I feel my aorta is being cut from that poison.” Once again Muhammad revealed that he felt his aorta being cut off from the poison he ate.

In all the above Islamic sources, Muhammad repeatedly stated that he felt his aorta being cut off from the poison he ate at Khaibar. Why are all these references about his aorta being cut off vital to our discussion on the subject of Allah’s curse on Muhammad? How are these two events related to one another? In the Qur’an Allah reveals exactly how he will kill Muhammad if he fabricates a false revelation. The startling fact is that Muhammad died exactly the way Allah said he would kill him if he fabricated a lie. Lets read the Qur’anic verses:

Surah 69:44-46: And if Muhammad had made up about Us some false sayings, We would have seized him by the right hand; Then We would have cut from him the aorta. (Sahih International)

And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings, We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, Then We would certainly have cut off his aorta. (Shakir)

The above Qur’anic verses need no explanation. Its meaning is crystal clear. Anyone reading these verses can easily understand them. The only ones who will not understand the clear meaning of these Qur’anic verses are the Muslims. From infancy the Muslim mind has been preconditioned not to see any evidences which discriminates their Prophet – not even if these evidences originate from their own sources. They will now assume that these Qur’anic verses mean something other than what it actually means. Therefore, we will let their own Islamic scholar explain the meaning of these Qur’anic verses to them. Al-Jalalayn is one of the preeminent scholars of Islam.

Tafsir Jalalayn on Surah 69:44-46:

And had he, namely, the Prophet, fabricated any lies against Us, by communicating from Us that which We have not said, We would have assuredly seized him, We would have exacted vengeance (against him), as punishment, by the Right Hand, by Our strength and power; then We would have assuredly severed his life-artery, the aorta of the heart, a vein that connects with it, and which if severed results in that person’s death.

What did Allah say he will do to Muhammad if he fabricates a false revelation?

We would cut off his aorta.”

And what did Muhammad say that the poison did to him?

“It has cut off my aorta.”

Can anything be more clearer than this? The Qur’an clearly states that Allah will execute Muhammad by cutting off his aorta if he fabricates a false revelation. And as Muhammad was nearing death, he repeatedly admitted:

“At this very moment I feel my aorta being severed because of the food I ate at Khaibar.”

He died exactly in the manner prescribed in the Qur’an if he fabricates a false revelation. The only thing that remains now is to prove that Muhammad did indeed fabricate a lie against Allah. If this can be proven, then we can be absolutely certain that he was indeed executed by Allah. Well, did Muhammad fabricate a false revelation? We will let Muhammad answer that.

Al-Tabari (839 C.E–923 C.E) was a well-respected early Islamic scholar who is recognized for his expertise in both the Tafsirs of the Qur’an and the History of Islam. His most influential work is “Tarikh al-Tabari.” The English translation is known as “The History of Al-Tabari.” In this highly valued historical document on the life of Muhammad, Al-Tabari recorded the following confession of Muhammad.

The History of Al-Tabari, Volume VI, p. 111:

“That evening Gabriel came to him and reviewed the Surah with him, and when he reached the two phrases which Satan had cast upon his tongue he said, “I did not bring you these two.” Then the Messenger of God said, “I have fabricated things against God and have imputed to him words which He has not spoken.” (The History of al-Tabari –Muhammad at Mecca)

Muhammad clearly confessed: “I have fabricated things against God and have imputed to him words which He has not spoken.” Muhammad fabricated lies against Allah by assigning the verses of Satan to Allah. Muhammad passed on the verses of Satan as revelations of Allah.

The History of Al-Tabari, Volume VI, p. 107:

“Satan cast a false Qur’an revelation on the Messenger of Allah’s tongue.”

As a result, Allah executed Muhammad exactly in the manner specified in the Qur’an. It is interesting to note that Islamic sources themselves acknowledge that Muhammad came under the influence of Satan. This episode which is known as the “Satanic Verses” is well documented in many authoritative Islamic sources. It is not an obscure event. (See Footnote Below)

It is important for Muslims to note that Surah 69:44-46 was revealed specifically for Muhammad. These Qur’anic verses were meant only for Muhammad and no one else. The punishment of cutting off the aorta as retribution for fabricating a false revelation was specifically directed to Muhammad. Therefore, to deny the execution of Muhammad at the hands of Allah for fabricating a false revelation is to accuse Allah of failing to carry out the very punishment that he himself specified in the Qur’an.  There are a hundred ways a person could die. Yet Muhammad died exactly the way that Allah said he would kill him if he fabricated a false revelation. When we take all these evidences into consideration, it becomes absolutely certain that Muhammad was executed by Allah. He was cursed by Allah to die an agonizing death.

All the above evidences are based on the earliest and most respected Islamic sources. However, Muslim apologists deliberately deny all these evidences even though they are based on their own Islamic sources. In defiance, they tell Muslims that Muhammad could not have died from that poison since he lived on for some three years after that incident. This is a desperate attempt by Muslim apologists to protect the image of Islam at all costs. We will now expose their lies.

For sure, if you eat a sufficient amount of the type of poison that could kill a person, you will die instantly. But, if you eat less than the amount that could kill a person, you will survive. However, the poison will cause internal damages that will kill you slowly over a period of time. And that is exactly what Muhammad said happened to him.

Sunan Abu Dawud, Volume 5, Hadith 4512:

“I continued to feel pain because of the morsel that I ate at Khaibar but now it has cut off my aorta.”

Muhammad is clearly saying that the poison hurt him right from the beginning. And for years he continued to feel pain from that poison. But now it is killing him. Reputable scholars of Islam recognized the fact that even though Muhammad lived on for a few years more, it was the poison that eventually killed him. They knew this for a certainty because Muhammad himself acknowledged this fact. Actually there is no need for speculation. As we have noted, Muhammad repeatedly confided to those close to him that the actual cause of the illness leading to his death was the poison he ate at Khaibar. Can anyone be a more reliable witness than Muhammad? Can anyone be a more reliable witness than the victim himself?

It is important to note that all Muslim apologists of today came centuries after the time of Muhammad. These apologists themselves have to rely on the documented evidences written and compiled by the early scholars of Islam. These early scholars of Islam hold the key to the true understanding of the history of Muhammad. These early scholars have dedicated their entire lives to the understanding of Islam. It is the knowledge of these early scholars that we need to seek to know the truth. Though there are numerous documented evidences from early reputable scholars of Islam to utterly destroy the lies of present-day Muslim apologists, we will consider just one to prove our point.

Ibn Sa’d (784 CE-845 CE) was one of the greatest scholars of Islam. In “Kitab al-Tabaqat al-Kabir” (Book of the Major Classes), Ibn Sa’d documented vital details on the circumstances surrounding the death of Muhammad.

Ibn Sa’d, Book of the Major Classes, Volume Two, page 252:

The apostle of Allah lived after these three years till in consequence of his pain he passed away. During his illness he used to say, “I did not cease to find the effect of the poisoned morsel, I took at Khaibar and I suffered several times (from its effect) but now I feel the hour has come of the cutting of my jugular vein.”

Dispelling the lies of the Muslim apologists, early Islamic scholars confirm the fact that Muhammad died as a result of the poison he ate at Khaibar. Their documented evidences prove that Muhammad died from the effects of that poison. He died slowly but surely from that poison. How much pain did the Prophet of Islam suffer before he eventually succumbed to that poison? We will let his wife answer that.

Sunan Ibn Majah, Volume 1, Book 6, Hadith 1622:

Aishah said: “I never saw anyone suffer more pain than the Messenger of Allah.”

Muslims must decide who they want to believe. Do they want to believe the testimony of Muhammad or the lies of the Muslim apologists? We would like to ask the Muslims the following questions:

Why do you reject the testimony of Muhammad and believe the lies of the Muslim apologists?

If you really accept Muhammad as a true prophet, should you not believe what he himself testified about the cause of his own death?

It is a lose, lose situation for Muslims. What choice do they really have? Either Muhammad died at the hands of Allah or at the hands of Jewish woman. Either option proves that Muhammad was a false prophet. Our main purpose for writing this article is to educate Muslims to appreciate the divine quality of exercising love and sympathy towards the death of others. However, in retrospect, this article also serves to prove that Muhammad died the death of a false prophet. He was a false prophet both from the perspective of Allah and from the perspective of the Jews.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 53, Number 394:

The Jews were collected and the Prophet said to them, “I am going to ask you a question. Will you tell the truth?” They said, “Yes”… He asked, “Have you poisoned this sheep?” They said, “Yes.” He asked, “What made you do so?” They said, “We wanted to know if you were a liar in which case we would get rid of you, and if you are a prophet then the poison would not harm you.”

According to the Jews, a true prophet would have either refrained from eating the poison or the poison would not have affected him. Thus, according to their test, Muhammad was a false prophet. With the legitimacy of Islam at stake, Muslim apologists choose to conceal the shameful fact that Muhammad died of poisoning. If ever there is someone who is cursed by Allah to die a tragic death, it is Muhammad. Therefore, before celebrating the death of Christians or that of any others, Muslims will do well to contemplate on the death of their Prophet at the hands of Allah. Speaking of death, the Qur’an mentions three momentous days in the life of Jesus Christ:

(1) The day of his birth.

(2) The day of his death.

(3) And the day of his resurrection.

Let us now read the actual Qur’anic verse which mentions the three days in the life of Jesus Christ. Allah recorded the words of Jesus Christ in the following Qur’anic verse:

Surah 19:33: I was born with peace and I shall die and be brought to life again with peace. (Sarwar)

Here is the difference between Jesus and Muhammad. Jesus died and rose again – victorious over death. Muhammad died and remains dead. The Qur’an itself acknowledges that death is a certainty for Muhammad and his followers:

Surah 39:30: You Muhammad are destined to die and so are they. (Al-Muntakhab)

Contrast the above statement with the assurance that Jesus Christ gave his true followers:

John 14:19: “Because I live, you will live also.”

Jesus is alive. Muhammad is dead. While the tomb of Jesus is empty, the tomb of Muhammad is filled with his remains. Muslims may find it shocking to learn that the Qur’an itself teaches that while Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven to be in the presence of God, Muhammad descended into Hell. THE QUR’AN CONFIRMS MUHAMMAD IS IN HELL

We would like to conclude by encouraging Muslims to read the following Qur’anic verse carefully. Two different translations are provided below:

Surah 3:55: When Allah said: O Jesus, I will cause you to die and exalt you in My presence and clear you of those who disbelieve and make those who follow you above those who disbelieve to the day of Resurrection. (Maulana Ali)

Behold! Allah said: “O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee of the falsehoods of those who blaspheme. I will make those who follow you superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection.” (Yusuf Ali)

We will now analyze Surah 3:55 in detail. According to this Qur’anic verse, those who follow Jesus will be made “superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection.” The “Day of Resurrection” refers to the time of the end. Allah spoke these words to Jesus while he was still on earth. Those who followed Jesus while he was on earth were known as Christians. In order for these Christian followers of Jesus to be made “superior until the Day of Resurrection,” there has to be a continuation of true Christians from the time these words were spoken to Jesus until the time of the end. In other words, there has to be successive generations of true Christians right from the time of Jesus until the time of the end. It is important to note that the Qur’an does not say that Christians will be made “superior” until the arrival of Muhammad or until the arrival of Islam but until the Day of Resurrection.”

Allah is clearly testifying in Surah 3:55 that the true Christian faith will prevail until the time of the end. In other words, there will always be the presence of true Christians on earth until the time of the end. Of course, this applies to the genuine followers of Jesus Christ. By saying that Christians will be made “superior” over the disbelievers, Allah is making a distinction between the Christians and the disbelievers. This proves that Christians are true believers. Since Allah himself judges Christians as true believers, will Allah then curse the Christians to die a tragic death as Muslims believe? It is time for Muslims to stop deceiving themselves and come to their senses.

We are using the above argument to prove that according to the Qur’an itself, Christians are recognized as true believers. However, this does not mean that we believe that Allah is the true God. Our God is Jehovah – the only true God. True Christians who die faithfully are not forgotten by Jehovah:

Luke 20:37-38: But that the dead are raised up, even Moses made known in the account about the thorn bush, when he calls Jehovah ‘the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.’ He is a God, not of the dead, but of the living, for they are all living to him.

Revelation 21:4: He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

The loving God whom true Christians worship will resurrect them back to life. He will reward them with everlasting life for their faithfulness.

SURAH 3:81 – THE FATAL ERROR OF ALLAH

SURAH 3:81 – THE FATAL ERROR OF ALLAH

It may come as a shock to learn that the days of Islam as a great monotheist religion are numbered. Granted, it still appears strong and formidable. But this is only a veneer. In truth, Islam is at its weakest today. The mystical awe that Islam once commanded is now fading rapidly. Islam has become an ugly word to many. Islam thrives and grows on the ignorance of others. It survives on deception and lies. It threatens death and destruction to silence the truth. Knowledge is Islam’s worst enemy. The proliferation of knowledge is a real threat to Islam today. Muslims are finding it increasingly difficult to defend their faith. A growing number of Muslims themselves are now aware that Islam has nothing to offer in terms of spirituality. Many are leaving. While some are leaving silently, others are exposing Islam with a vengeance. They feel betrayed. The errors of Islam are far too many for Muslims to hide anymore. And they are far too many for sincere Muslims to ignore.

We do not need sources extraneous to Islam to expose its errors. The Qur’an itself is sufficient to prove Islam false to the core. In this article we will focus on one vital piece of evidence in the Qur’an that is extremely destructive to Islam. Islam stands and falls on the person of Muhammad. And this Qur’anic evidence exposes Muhammad as an impostor – a false prophet. We will begin by reading the following Qur’anic verse which is central to our discussion. Provided below are two different translations of this Qur’anic verse:

Surah 3:81: And remember when Allah took the Covenant of the Prophets, saying: “Take whatever I gave you from the Book and Hikmah (understanding of the Laws of Allah), and afterwards there will come to you a Messenger (Muhammad) confirming what is with you; you must, then, believe in him and help him.” Allah said: “Do you agree to it and will you take up My Covenant which I conclude with you?” They said: “We agree.” He said: “Then bear witness; and I am with you among the witnesses for this.” (Hilali-Khan)

Allah took a covenant with the Prophets, saying: “Now that you have been given the Book and Wisdom; there will come to you a Messenger who will confirm that which is with you, you will have to believe in him and help him in his mission.” Then He said “Do you affirm this covenant and agree to take this heavy responsibility?” The Prophets replied, “Yes, we do affirm.” Allah said, “Very well, bear witness to this and I too bear witness with you.” (Farook Malik)

A careful examination of Surah 3:81 reveals the following:

(1) Allah made a Covenant with the Prophets who lived before the time of Muhammad.

(2) These Prophets were called upon by Allah to pledge their support to a forthcoming Messenger who was to appear to them later.

(3) The Prophets agreed and Allah secures their pledge to assist this forthcoming Messenger.

(4) This coming Messenger will confirm the previous Book of Allah which is in the possession of these Prophets.

(5) Since this Messenger will come during the lifetime of these Prophets, they will be on hand to personally witness his confirmation of their sacred Book.

(6) Allah concludes the Covenant by bearing witness along with the Prophets to ensure the fulfillment of this divine agreement.

(7) Therefore, Surah 3:81 testifies that Allah himself is a witness to this irrevocable Covenant which guarantees that there will be Prophets on hand to assist this forthcoming Messenger in his assigned mission.

All Muslim scholars acknowledge that the Messenger mentioned in Surah 3:81 refers to none other than Muhammad. As can be noted, this conclusion is further substantiated in the above translation of the Qur’an by Hilali-Khan. This raises some very vital questions:

Who were the Prophets who lived during the time of Muhammad to fulfill this Covenant of Allah?

Who were the Prophets on hand to help Muhammad in his mission as the Messenger of Allah?

Who were the Prophets present at the time of Muhammad to witness his confirmation of their Scriptures?

None! Not a single Prophet, from among whom Allah allegedly made the Covenant with, was present at the time of Muhammad. Yet, Allah clearly testified to the presence of these Prophets during the time of this Messenger. In fact, Allah swore these Prophets into his Covenant for the sole purpose to support this forthcoming Messenger. And Allah bore witness in the Qur’an that these Prophets will be on hand to assist this Messenger in his mission. However, there were none – not even newly appointed Prophets to act as substitutes for these Prophets. This leaves us with two options:

One: Allah was wrong in his claim regarding the presence of Prophets during the time of Muhammad.

Two: The Messenger mentioned in Surah 3:81 is referring to someone other than Muhammad.

Either option spells disaster for Islam. What is even more damaging for Islam is the fact that Muhammad excluded himself as the Messenger in Surah 3:81. Why do we say that? This is because Muhammad clearly ruled out the co-existence of any Prophets during his career as the Messenger of Allah. Muhammad openly testified to this reality when he proclaimed the following to his early Companions.

Sahih Muslim, Book 30, Number 5835:

Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: I am most akin to Jesus Christ among the whole of mankind, and all the Prophets are of different mothers but belong to one religion and no Prophet was raised between me and Jesus.

A well-known Islamic website was asked how many Prophets were there between the time of the death of Jesus and the birth of Muhammad. Here is their reply:

The only Prophet Allah appointed after He raised Jesus (a.s.) to Himself alive, was the Last and Final Messenger of Allah, Mohamed ar-Rasool Allah (saws). There are no Prophets between Jesus (a.s.) and the Mohamed ar Rasool Allah (saws). (www.islamhelpline.net)

Muhammad clearly taught that “no Prophets” were raised between the time of Jesus and him. In other words, the only Prophet who came after the time of Jesus was Muhammad. This means that there could be no Prophets on hand to either welcome or assist Muhammad. However, Surah 3:81 clearly testifies that there would be Prophets available to assist this new Messenger. Since all Islamic scholars without exception recognize Muhammad as the Messenger of Surah 3:81, they must now explain why there were no Prophets at the time of Muhammad. Muslims cannot provide the name of a single Prophet who was a contemporary of Muhammad. The instant they come up with a name, they would be challenging the teachings of Muhammad.

Let us pause for a moment and let this sink in. Here we find two conflicting teachings in Islam. Allah clearly stated in Surah 3:81 that there would be Prophets to assist Muhammad. In contrast, Muhammad taught there would be none. Muslims have to choose between Allah and Muhammad. If Allah is right, then Muhammad is wrong. On the other hand, if Muhammad is right, then Allah is wrong. Either option destroys the legitimacy of Islam since this clearly demonstrates that one of them is definitely in error. As events unfolded, it became evident that there were no Prophets at the time of Muhammad. Thus, Allah was clearly in error. Man can make mistakes but not God. This fatal error of Allah in the Qur’an proves that he is a false god. As such, Muhammad was a prophet of a false god. Can a prophet of a false god be a true prophet? Absolutely not! This is an irrefutable evidence in the Qur’an that Muhammad was a false prophet. Muslims have to choose between a false prophet and a false god.

THE MUSLIM DILEMMA

Surah 3:81 poses a real dilemma for Muslims. If Surah 3:81 is truly a prophecy about the coming of Muhammad, then this proves that there is a serious error in the Qur’an. This is because this same Qur’anic verse also states that there would be Prophets on hand to assist Muhammad. However, there were none. Therefore, the only way Muslims can accept Surah 3:81 as true is to deny Muhammad as the Messenger in this Qur’anic verse. However, this is equally damaging for Muslims since they will have to now reject Muhammad as their Messenger. Without Muhammad there will be no Islam. As we can clearly see, Allah’s prophecy regarding the presence of Prophets during the time of Muhammad failed to materialize as he had predicted. The Qur’an is as false as the unfulfilled Covenant of Allah. Muslims are now left with the following options:

One: Allah was deliberately deceiving the Muslims through a false revelation in the Qur’an.

Two: Allah was unable to foresee the future accurately.

Three: Allah was powerless to see through to the fulfillment of his prophecies.

This disqualifies Allah as the true God. Muslims have to honestly re-evaluate their spiritual perspective if they truly value their salvation. Unlike Allah, it is impossible for the true God to lie:

Hebrews 6:18: “It is impossible for God to lie.”

And Jehovah has the ability to foretell the future with precision:

Isaiah 46:9-10: “Remember the former things of a long ago, that I am God and there is no other, nor is there anyone like me. I am making known the end from the beginning and from ancient times what is still to come. The One saying, ‘My own purpose will stand, and I will do everything I intended to do.’”

Can Muslims really worship a deity who inspires such erroneous covenants and such erroneous predictions in his inspired Scriptures? This firmly confirms that Allah is a lying impostor. And this also confirms that the Qur’an cannot be the Word of God since it contains a serious error within its pages. Well, what is the true reason why there were no Prophets at the time of Muhammad? For the answer, Muslims must turn to the Bible. In fact, the Qur’an encourages them to do so:

Surah 10:94: “If you O Muhammad or any of your followers are in doubt of what has been inspired to you, then you may ask those who have been reading and perusing the Book before you…” (Al-Muntakhab)

The divine “Book” which was revealed before the time of Muhammad was the Bible. And the Bible is the only divine “Book” that Christians have been reading from before the time of Muhammad till today. It alone provides the answer as to why there were no Prophets at the time of Muhammad. The Bible clearly testifies that God will not send Prophets or Messengers any longer after the arrival Jesus Christ. The following verses in the Bible substantiate this fact:

Hebrews 1:1-2: “God, who long ago spoke on many occasions and in many ways to our forefathers by means of the prophets, has at the end of these days spoken to us by means of a Son, whom he appointed heir of all things.”

And Jesus clarified this truth by means of an illustration that he gave to the religious leaders of his time:

Matthew 21:33-39: “Hear another illustration: There was a man, a householder, who planted a vineyard and put a fence around it and dug a winepress in it and erected a tower, and let it out to cultivators, and traveled abroad. When the season of the fruits came around, he dispatched his slaves to the cultivators to get his fruits. However, the cultivators took his slaves, and one they beat up, another they killed, another they stoned. Again he dispatched other slaves, more than the first, but they did the same to these. Lastly he dispatched his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ On seeing the son the cultivators said among themselves, ‘This is the heir; come, let us kill him and get his inheritance!’ So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.

Matthew 21:45: When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his illustrations, they knew that he was speaking about them. Although they wanted to seize him, they feared the crowds, because these regarded him as a prophet.

In the above illustration:

The “Householder” represents God.

The “Vineyard” represents the Nation of Israel.

The “Slaves” represent the Prophets.

The “Son” represents Jesus Christ.

The “Cultivators” are the religious representatives of the Nation of Israel who rejected the Prophets of God.

The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus is the culmination of the Prophets. He is the final Messenger of God. As such, no Prophets can be sent after the time of Jesus. In defiance of the teachings of the Bible, the Qur’an stated that there would be Prophets at the time of Muhammad. History is on the side of the Holy Bible. This is evident by what transpired historically on the world scene. Just as the Bible foretold, there were no Prophets at the time of Muhammad. While the Bible was manifestly accurate, the Qur’an is clearly in error. However, there is more to this. In fact, Muhammad himself does not count. When the Bible rules out the presence of any Prophets after the time of Jesus, this includes Muhammad.

THE FINAL PROPHET

Jesus Christ is identified as a Prophet in the Qur’an:

Surah 19:30: Jesus said: Truly, I am a servant of Allah. He gave me the Book and He made me a Prophet. (Laleh Bakhtiar)

While acknowledging Jesus as a Prophet, the Qur’an also claims that Muhammad is the final Prophet of Allah:

Surah 33:40: “Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the Last of the prophets; and Allah is cognizant of all things.” (Shakir)

For this claim to be true, no Prophets should be sent after the time of Muhammad. Therefore, if Muslims agree with the above statement of Allah, then they must also agree that no Prophets should be sent to mankind after the time Muhammad. Otherwise, the claim that Muhammad was the final Prophet would be false. The problem for Muslims is that the Qur’an clearly states that Allah would send Jesus once again to mankind after the time of Muhammad. Both the Qur’an and the Hadiths confirm that Jesus will come again to the earth to restore true worship:

Surah 43:61: Coming events cast their shadow before, and so will Isa (Jesus) whose return to earth shall be the sign of impending Judgment and that the Final Hour is indeed imminent. (Al-Muntakhab)

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 3, Number 656:

Narrated Abu Hurairah: Allah’s Apostle said, “The Hour will not be established until the son of Mary (Jesus) descends amongst you as a just ruler.”

Tafsir Ibn Abbas:

And lo! Verily in the coming of Jesus the son of Mary (there is knowledge of the Hour) there is an indication of the coming of the Hour; it is also said that this means: His coming is a Sign of the advent of the Hour. (Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs)

The Bible clearly testifies that no Prophets will be sent after Jesus. Therefore, should God decide to send another Prophet after Jesus, it can only be Jesus and no other. This is exactly the reason why according to both the Bible and the Qur’an, the only Prophet who will be sent to mankind a second time is Jesus Christ. God cannot send another. None is qualified. Muhammad simply does not fit into the equation of God’s eternal purpose. It makes no sense for Jesus to be sent again a second time during the Day of Judgment if Muhammad is truly the last of the Prophets as Muslims claim. What is the reason for God to send Jesus and not Muhammad at the culmination of mankind’s history? This proves that Jesus Christ is the final Prophet – the true Seal of the Prophets.

No other Prophets were blessed with this unique privilege. If Jesus returns as a Prophet, then this rules out Muhammad as the final Prophet of Allah. However, if Jesus returns in the official role as someone other than a Prophet, then this proves that he must be more than a Prophet. Either option exposes Islam as false. Who do you think is the final Prophet of God? Is it Jesus or Muhammad? Muslims will do well to remember that only Jesus is recognized as “the Messiah” (al-Masih) in both the Bible and the Qur’an.

Was Jesus a “Prophet of Allah” as the Qur’an claims? Absolutely not! However, in order to expose the errors of Islam, we had to go along with this false claim in the Qur’an. Jesus was clearly not a “Prophet of Allah” but a Prophet of Jehovah. But he is more than a Prophet. He is truly the Son of God.

SEARCH FOR THE TRUE GOD

Surah 3:81 proves that Allah, Muhammad, Islam and the Qur’an are all forgeries. One error is one too many. This single Qur’anic verse exposes the incompetency of Allah and destroys the credibility of Muhammad. The only way out of this dilemma for Muslims is to leave Islam. Leaving Islam is only part of the solution. They must search for the true God:

Isaiah 55:6: Search for Jehovah while he may be found. Call to him while he is near.

This article may understandably upset or anger some of our Muslim readers. But please remember that the ones revealing these truths about Islam are in reality the best friends of the Muslims. While truth may hurt, it is the lies that will kill you. Your eternal salvation depends on your knowing the true Creator:

Romans 10:13: For everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.

SURAH 68:1 – THE QUR’ANIC VERSE THAT DESTROYS ISLAM

SURAH 68:1 – THE QUR’ANIC VERSE THAT DESTROYS ISLAM

If you are a Muslim, we earnestly encourage you to read this article carefully. Your endeavor to read this article may be one of the most important undertakings in your life. The information provided in this article should trouble you as a Muslim. It should trouble you even more knowing that all the facts presented here are based on authentic Islamic sources. However, this article is also a message of hope for Muslims. There are many false teachings in Islam. However, we will focus on one particular teaching which many Muslims are unaware of. This is because it is deliberately kept hidden from them. This teaching is an embarrassment to Islam today. This article will provide you with one of the strongest reasons to reject Islam. Believe us when we say we are not your enemies.

In order to elevate Islam, Muslim apologists often criticize the religious beliefs of others. While Christianity is their main target, other religions are not spared either. For example, in their criticism of Hinduism, they frequently attack the teachings of Hinduism on cosmology. In Hindu mythology, the earth is believed to be supported on the back of four elephants standing on a large sea-turtle floating in the ocean. Earthquakes were believed to be caused by the movement of these animals. This sea-turtle is known as Akupara in Hinduism. One avatar (reincarnation) of Vishnu is said to be a giant tortoise. The Sri Kurmam Temple in India is dedicated to this avatar of Vishnu.

Today we know for a certainty that such teachings are not true. However, the Muslim criticism of the teachings of Hinduism is a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black. Why do we say that? Except for the differences in the animals, Islam also teaches this same mythology. Islam teaches that the whole earth is carried on the back of large whale. Yes! You read that right. This is exactly what Islam teaches. We will now provide the evidences.

Before we provide the evidences, let us lay some groundwork in anticipation of the common counter-arguments which we are so familiar with. Whenever we highlight some errors in the teachings of Islam which Muslims are unable to refute, they quickly respond by saying that we must understand Arabic in order to judge the teachings of Islam fairly. This is another deception by Muslims. Well, do Muslims learn the original languages of the Scriptures of other religions in order to judge their teachings? Do they learn Sanskrit to discuss Hinduism? Do they take the effort to learn Hebrew, Aramaic or Greek to factually challenge the teachings of Christianity? Worse still, more than 85% of the Muslims do not understand Arabic – the language of the Qur’an. How did all these non-Arabic speaking Muslims become Muslims? * (See Link Below)

Another common counter-argument of Muslims is that to refute the teachings of Islam, we must first talk to their scholars. Do Muslims apply this rule to themselves? Do they talk to the scholars of the other religions before dismissing their teachings as false? Do we really need to talk to the scholars of all the various religions before we disagree with their teachings? Furthermore, Muslim scholars themselves do not agree with one another. The fact that Islam is divided into various sects and sub-sects proves this fundamental truth. Not to mention the internal strife between the various sects to uphold their version of Islam. So which Muslim scholars are they talking about?

Moreover, all the present Muslim scholars of today came centuries after the time of Muhammad. They themselves have to rely on the Tafsirs (Exegesis) which were written and compiled by the early scholars of Islam. These early scholars of Islam hold the key to the understanding of the teachings of Allah as it was originally taught by the Prophet of Islam. These early scholars have dedicated their entire lives to understanding the religion of Islam. It is the knowledge of these scholars that we need to seek to know the true teachings of Islam. And we will do just that. The two most recognized Tafsirs are that of Ibn Kathir and Al-Tabari. Of course there are also the Tafsirs of other early Muslim scholars such Al-Qurtubi which are valued highly in Islam.

THE COSMIC WHALE

Let us begin by reading the Qur’anic verse that is central to our discussion:

Surah 68:1: Nun. I swear by the Pen and by that which they write. (Hamid S. Aziz)

As we can see, this Qur’anic verse by itself does not tell us much. In order to know what this Arabic term “Nun” means, we need to examine the Tafsirs of the early scholars of Islam. Let us now read the Tafsir of Ibn Kathir on the meaning of “Nun” in Surah 68:1. It is important for Muslims to read this Tafsir carefully if they truly value their salvation.

Tafsir Ibn Kathir on Surah 68:1:

It was said that Nun refers to a great whale that rides on the currents of the waters of the great ocean and on its back it carries the seven Earths, as was stated by Imam Abu Jafar Ibn Jarir. Narrated by Ibn Bashar, narrated by Yahya, narrated by Sufyan Al-Thuri, narrated by Sulayman Al-Amash, narrated by Abu Thubian, narrated by Ibn Abbas who related, “The first thing that Allah created was the pen and He said to it ‘Write’. The pen asked, ‘What shall I write?’ Allah said, ‘Write the fate of everything.’ So the pen wrote everything that shall be from that moment until judgment day.

Then Allah created the “Nun” and He caused steam to rise out of which the heavens were created and the Earth was then laid flat on nun’s back. Then the Nun became nervous and as a result the earth began to sway, but Allah fastened the earth with mountains lest the earth should move…,

It was narrated by Ibn Jarir, narrated by Ibn Hamid, narrated by Ata’a, narrated by Abu Al-Dahee, narrated by Ibn Abbas who stated, “The first thing my Lord created, may He be Exalted and Glorified, was the pen and He said to it, ‘Write.’ So the pen wrote all that will be until judgment day. Then Allah created the Nun (the whale) above the waters and he pressed the Earth into its back.

Al Tabarani narrated the same Hadith above (from the prophet Muhammad) who narrated from Abu Habib Zaid Al-Mahdi Al Marouzi, narrated by Sa’id Ibn Yaqub Al-Talqani, narrated by Mu’amal Ibn Ismail, narrated by Hamad Ibn Zaid, narrated by Ata’a Ibn Al Sa’ib, narrated by Abu Al Dahee Muslim Ibn Subaih, narrated by Ibn Abbas who stated that the prophet – may peace and blessing be upon him and his family – said, “The first things Allah created were the pen and the whale and He said to the pen ‘Write.’ The pen asked, ‘What shall I write?’ Allah replied, ‘Everything that shall be until judgment day.’ Then He said ‘Nun. By the Pen and by what they write.’ So Nun is the whale and al-Qalam is the pen.”

Ibn Abu Nujaih stated that Ibrahim Ibn Abu Bakir was informed by Mujahid who said, “It was said that Nun is the great whale who is underneath the seven Earths.”

Let us consider now the Tafsir of another early distinguished scholar of Islam. We will examine the Tafsir of Al-Tabari (838 CE–923 CE). The Tafsir of Al-Tabari encompasses dictionaries, historical notes, law, recitation, theology and Arabic literature within its compilation. As such, it became a highly referenced book throughout the history of Islam.

Tafsir Al-Tabari on the meaning of Surah 68:1:

Someone might say: If it is as you have described, namely, that God created the earth before the heaven, then what is the meaning of the statement of Ibn ‘Abbas told all of you by Wasil b. ‘Abd al-A‘la al-Asadi- Muhammad b. Fudayl- al-A‘mash- Abu Zabyan- Ibn ‘Abbas: The first thing God created is the Pen. God then said to it: Write!, whereupon the Pen asked: What shall I write, my lord! God replied: Write what is predestined! He continued: And the Pen proceeded to write whatever is predestined and going to be to the Coming of the Hour. God then lifted up the water vapor and split the heavens off from it. Then God created the fish (Nun), and the earth was spread out upon its back. The fish became agitated, with the result that the earth was shaken up. It was steadied by means of the mountains, for they indeed proudly tower over the earth.

I was told about the same by Wasil – Waki’ – al-A‘mash – Abu Zabyan – Ibn ‘Abbas.

According to Ibn al-Muthanna – Ibn Abi ‘Adi – Shu‘bah – Sulayman (al-A‘mash) – Abu Zabyan – Ibn ‘Abbas: The first thing created by God is the Pen. It proceeded to write whatever is going to be. God then lifted up the water vapor and the heavens were created from it. Then He created the fish, and the earth was spread out on its back. The fish moved, with the result that the earth was shaken up. It was steadied by means of the mountains, for the mountains indeed proudly tower over the earth. So he said, and he recited: “Nun. By the Pen and what they write.”

I was told the same by Tamim b. al-Muntasir – Ishaq (b. Yusuf) – Sharik (b. ‘Abdallah al-Nakha‘i) – al-A‘mash – Abu Zabyan or Mujahid – Ibn ‘Abbas, with the exception, however, that he said: And the heavens were split off from it (instead of: were created).

According to Ibn Bashshar – Yahya – Sufyan – Sulayman (al-A‘mash?) – Abu Zabyan – Ibn ‘Abbas: The first thing created by God is the Pen. God said: Write!, whereupon the Pen asked: What shall I write? God replied: Write what is predestined! He continued. And the Pen proceeded to write whatever is predestined and going to be from that day on to the Coming of the Hour. Then God created the fish. He lifted up the water vapor, and heaven was split off from it, and the earth was spread out upon the back of the fish. The fish became agitated, and as a result, the earth was shaken up. It was steadied by means of the mountains, he continued, for they proudly tower over the earth.

According to Ibn Humayd – Jarir (b. ‘Abd al-Hamid) – ‘Ata’ b. al-Sa’ib – Abu al-Duha Muslim b. Subayh – Ibn ‘Abbas: “The first thing created by God is the Pen. God said to it: Write! And it wrote whatever is going to be until the Coming of the Hour. Then God created the fish. Then he heaped up the earth upon it.”

In both the above Tafsirs, we can note that the name Ibn Abbas appears frequently in the chain of narrators. But who is this scholar? Ibn Abbas (619 CE – 687 CE) was a cousin of Muhammad. He was not only an esteemed scholar of Islam but he was also personally taught by Muhammad. Ibn Abbas was known for his authoritative interpretation of the Qur’an. He is widely respected for his authority on Islam. Even the Caliphs of Islam who are known as Guardians of the Islamic Faith, frequently consulted him on vital matters pertaining to the interpretations of the Qur’an. Ibn Abbas has no doubts whatsoever as to what Allah actually meant by the term “Nun” in the Qur’an. He stated: “Then Allah created the Nun (the whale) above the waters and he pressed the Earth into its back.

Let us look at one more Tafsir. This time we will consider the Tafsir by Al-Qurtubi. He is one of the foremost experts on the exegesis of the Qur’an.

Tafsir al-Qurtubi on Surah 68:1:

Mujahid related that ‘Nun’ is the whale that is underneath the seventh earth. He stated that the ‘Pen’ is what was used to write ‘Al-Thikir’ (The Remembrance – Quran). Likewise, it was also narrated by Mukatil, Murrah Al-Hamdani, Ata’ Al-Kharasani, Al Suddi and Al-Kalbi who all said, Nun is the whale upon which all the earths are placed.”

Narrated by Abu Thabyan, narrated by Ibn Abbas who said, “The first thing that Allah created was the Pen which wrote all that shall be. Then water vapor began to rise, out of which the heavens were created. Then (Allah) created Nun (the whale) and flattened the earth on its back. When the earth began to lean, it was reinforced with mountains, which are on its surface.” Then Ibn Abbas read the verse (Surah 68:1) ‘Nun and the Pen.’

All the above Tafsirs of the Qur’an were written and compiled by the early Muslim scholars who are heavyweights in Islam. There many more references of this cosmic fish in the Tafsirs of other early scholars. But the above is sufficient to prove our point. All the early scholars of Islam clearly understood that Surah 68:1 contains a reference to a very large fish that carries the earth on its back. Do we have a Qur’anic verse to further substantiate the meaning of “Nun” in Surah 68:1? We sure do! It is interesting to note that the prophet Jonah was addressed as Zun-nun” in Surah 21:87 which literally means “the man of the Whale.” Jonah was identified as such because he was swallowed by a very large fish:

Surah 21:87: And remember Zun-nun (the man of the Whale, Jonah), when he went away in wrath and thought that We had no power over him; but he cried out in the darkness, “There is no God but Thou, celebrated be Thy praise! Verily, I was of the wrong!” (Hamid S. Aziz)

Surah 37:139-142: Jonah too was one of the messengersAnd a great fish swallowed him, for he had committed blameworthy acts. (Abdel Haleem)

This additional detail confirms the meaning of “Nun” in Surah 68:1. The Qur’an itself substantiates the fact that “Nun” refers to very large fish. Before we move on let us pause for a moment to reflect on the similarities between the mythologies of Hinduism and Islam. Both involve a huge sea-creature – one a turtle and the other a whale. Both the mythologies clearly state that the earth is supported on the backs of these creatures. And both share the same view for the causes of earthquakes – the movement of these creatures.

Why did so many highly credible scholars of Islam believe and circulate this teaching about a giant whale carrying the earth on its back? Why did they accept this teaching as true? These questions should trouble Muslims. The answer is obvious but not to Muslims. This is because aside from this mythology, the Qur’an provides no clue whatsoever about the true design of our universe. There are absolutely no verses in the entire Qur’an to equip these scholars with an accurate knowledge of our cosmos to reject this fanciful story. Had the Qur’an contained a single verse that accurately describes the earth as a suspended body in space, then these scholars would have dismissed this entire whale story as a myth. They would not have given this story any credibility whatsoever. The best Islamic scholars were dead wrong because the only Qur’anic verse that Allah provided them was based on the myth of a cosmic whale.

Muslim apologists shamelessly lie to cover this embarrassment in Islam. To save Islam they destroy the original teachings of Allah in the Qur’an.  It is really a shame that Muslim apologists have to lie so much and deny so much of their Scriptures just to keep the Muslims satisfied. Most Muslims today are in denial. They do not spend enough time to familiarize themselves with the authentic teachings of Allah in the Qur’an. Instead, they spend their time watching Islamic channels that spread lies. Sadly, Muslims–some even knowingly–believe all these lies that are fed to them. They then repeat these lies. This is a double jeopardy for Muslims. They are lied to by Allah and then by the Muslim apologists who lie to cover up these lies of Allah. What these ordinary Muslims fail to realize is how their willful self-deception endangers their eternal salvation. The Bible clearly describes the mind-set of these ones:

2 Timothy 4:3-4: For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the wholesome teaching, but according to their own desires, they will surround themselves with teachers to have their ears tickled. They will turn away from listening to the truth and give attention to false stories.

It is important for sincere Muslims to recognize the truth that the danger to their salvation comes not from the Christians who exposes the false teachings of Allah in the Qur’an. The real danger to their salvation comes from the “false stories” that Muslim apologists deceitfully fabricate to explain away the false teachings of Allah in the Qur’an. Do not let these Muslim apologists tickle your ears with their lies. Be wise! Submitting to their “false stories” means remaining on the pathway leading to death. You owe it to yourself to examine the truth.

THE DEFINING MOMENT OF TRUTH

Let us now compare the Qur’an with the true inspired Word of God. Let us compare the Qur’an with the Holy Bible. As the inspired Word of God, the Holy Bible is neither influenced nor contaminated by the mythologies of the ancient world. And it never lies. As early as 3,500 years ago, the Book of Job accurately stated:

Job 26:7: “He is stretching out the north over the empty place, hanging the earth upon nothing.”

Rather than reflect the unscientific views existing at the time of its writing, the Holy Bible accurately stated the above truth. The original Hebrew word used in Job 26:7 for nothing” means “not any thing.” This is the only time, this word occurs in the entire Bible. The picture which the Holy Bible accurately presents of an earth surrounded by empty space is recognized by scholars as a remarkable vision for its time. Regarding the evidences for the inspiration of the Holy Bible, a well-known scholar, F. C. Cook, wrote in the nineteenth century:

It presents a singularly strong protest against superstitions prevalent among all heathens. Job knows nothing of solid foundations on which the broad expanse of earth is supported. How Job knew the truth, demonstrated by astronomy, that the earth hangs self-poised in empty space, is a question not easily solved by those who deny the inspiration of Holy Scripture.”

In many places the Qur’an also teaches that the earth is as flat as a bed or a carpet. (Surah 20:53, Surah 43:10) The flat earth concept is another myth in the Qur’an. It may surprise Muslims to learn that some 1300 years before the Qur’an was revealed, the Book of Isaiah perfectly described the shape of the earth with scientific accuracy:

Isaiah 40:22: “There is One who is dwelling above the circle of the earth.”

These two examples are more than sufficient to prove that the Holy Bible is truly the inspired Word of God. It has to be inspired by none other than the Creator God of the universe. Only the Creator is able to reveal these amazing realities with such precision at a time when mankind not only believed that the earth is flat but also that it rests on some sort of a foundation to support it. Regarding its purpose, the Holy Bible stated this fundamental truth about its power to evaluate and set matters straight:

2 Timothy 3:16-17: All Scripture is given by the inspiration of God and is profitable for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.

The Qur’an was revealed some 2,900 years after the Book of Job was written. Even though it had the tremendous advantage of the advancement of time on its side, the Qur’an still got it wrong. It was powerless to set matters straight. It promoted the teachings of mythology as divine truths. This proves that the Qur’an is not the inspired Word of God. It simply cannot be. However, there is hope for Muslims if they turn to the true Source of Light. That Source of Light is the Holy Bible. This article may understandably upset or anger some Muslims. But please remember that the ones telling such truths are in reality the best friends of the Muslims:

Galatians 4:16: “Have I become your enemy because I tell you the truth?”

While truth may hurt, it is the lies that will kill you. Your eternal salvation depends very much on your knowing the true Creator of the universe. And it is certainly not Allah. We sincerely hope that the evidences provided in this article will move you not only to leave Islam but also to search for the true God:

Isaiah 55:6: Search for Jehovah while he may be found. Call to him while he is near.

THE DECEPTION OF MIRACLES IN ISLAM

THE DECEPTION OF MIRACLES IN ISLAM

Muslims persistently claim that Muhammad performed countless miracles to validate his calling as a prophet of God. Is their claim true? Does the Qur’an support their claim? We sincerely thank the Writing Committee of STEALTH TEAM MEGIDDO for publishing this outstanding article which specifically addresses this issue. “Did Muhammad perform miracles?” This vital question is answered powerfully in this article. It is one of the most comprehensive articles written on this subject. It also provides invaluable references from both the Qur’an and the Hadith to authenticate and verify the arguments presented here. Since Islam stands or falls on the person of Muhammad, we encourage sincere Muslims who value their eternal salvation to read this article carefully. Let’s begin.

The Qur’an is the only book in Islam for which divine inspiration has been recognized by all Muslims. Yet, the Qur’an itself testifies that Muhammad did not perform any supernatural miracles. The miracle claims for Muhammad do not occur in the Qur’an but in the Hadith. This is a serious contradiction in Islam. If Muhammad really did perform miracles as Muslims claim, then these supernatural acts would certainly be recorded in the Qur’an. If the miracles performed by Moses and Jesus are faithfully recorded in the Qur’an, then why not the miracles of Muhammad? Instead, the Qur’an reveals that whenever Muhammad was demanded to authenticate his prophethood through the manifestation of miracles, he either remained silent or else confessed that he could not do so.

It is essential to note that the Qur’an itself provides the reason for the inability of Muhammad to perform miracles. It repeatedly emphasizes that he is just an ordinary human messenger without any supernatural powers to perform miracles. The Qur’an contains more than twenty such passages which testify to this limitation of Muhammad to perform miracles. The most explicit of this admission is found in the following Qur’anic verses. Two different translations are provided below:

Surah 17:90-93: They said, “We will not believe you unless you cause a spring to gush out of the ground.” “Or unless you own a garden of date palms and grapes with rivers running through it.” “Or unless you cause masses from the sky, as you claimed, to fall on us.” “Or unless you bring God and the angels before our eyes.” “Or unless you own a luxurious mansion or unless you climb into the sky. Even if you do climb, we will not believe unless you bring a book that we can read.” Say, “Glory be to my Lord. Am I any more than a human messenger?” (Khalifa)

They say, “We will not believe in you, until you cause a spring to gush forth for us from the earth, “Or until you have a garden of date trees and vines, and cause rivers to gush forth in their presence, carrying abundant water, “Or you cause the sky to fall into pieces on us as you say, or you bring God and the angels before us face to face. “Or you have a house adorned with gold, or you raise a ladder into the universe. No, we will not even believe in your raising a ladder until you bring down to us a book that we can read.” Say, “Glory to my Lord. Am I not only a human being, a messenger?” (Bilal Muhammad)

The very reason for Muhammad’s inability to perform miracles can be seen by the confession he was commanded to make in the above Qur’anic verses: “Am I not only a human being, a messenger?” The Qur’an itself clarifies that just like any other ordinary human being, Muhammad does not possess any supernatural powers. And just as ordinary human beings are incapable of performing miracles neither could Muhammad. In other words, he was not given any supernatural powers like Moses or Jesus. The following Qur’anic verses are equally important. They not only reinforce the above stated fact about Muhammad’s inability to perform miracles but they also reveal that neither was he gifted with the knowledge of the unseen. The Qur’an links the inability of Muhammad to perform miracles with his not having the gift of the knowledge of the unseen:

Surah 10:20: They (unbelievers) say, “Why has his Lord not given him some miracles to support his claim of being His Messenger?” Say “The knowledge of the unseen certainly belongs to God. Wait and I too shall be waiting with you. (Sarwar)

Surah 67:25-26: They ask, when will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful? Say, God alone has knowledge of that; and I am only a plain warner. (W. Khan)

In contrast, the Qur’an testifies that Jesus was given the knowledge of the unseen. This fact is substantiated in the following Qur’anic verse. It records the words of Jesus to the Children of Israel:

Surah 3:49: Furthermore, I will tell you what you have eaten and what you have stored in your houses. Surely these are the signs to convince you if you are believers.” (Farook Malik)

Time and again, Muhammad confessed that he was “only a plain warner.” Let us now consider the words of Allah in Surah 13:7. This Qur’anic verse is important since it provides the core reason as to why Muhammad could not perform miracles. It plainly testifies that Muhammad is not in the same category as those who perform miracles. Allah confirms this truth while explaining the reason as to why Muhammad could not perform miracles when the unbelievers demanded for one:

Surah 13:7: The unbelievers say, “Why has Allah not sent him, (Muhammad), some miracles.” Muhammad, you are only a warner. For every nation there is a guide. (Sarwar)

As it can be seen, the specific reason why Allah did not empower Muhammad with miracles was because of his status as “only a warner.” The term “only” denotes limitation. It demonstrates that Muhammad was not qualified to perform miracles. This Qur’anic verse clearly presupposes that the function of Muhammad as “only a warner” does not include the authorization to perform miracles. The gift to perform miracles is reserved for those with a higher calling than only a warner.” The Qur’an itself testifies to the reality of such differences in the ranks of the Messengers. It clearly states that some Messengers are exalted above the others:

Surah 2:253: These are the Messengers which We have sent for the guidance of mankind. We have exalted some above others. To some Allah spoke directly; others He raised high in ranks; to Jesus the son of Mary We gave clear Signs and supported him with the Holy Spirit. (Farook Malik)

The following Qur’anic verse further substantiates the reason for Muhammad’s inability to perform miracles. Allah commanded Muhammad to openly confess that the reason for his inability to perform miracles was because he is only a plain warner.”

Surah 29:50: And they say: Why is it that no signs (miracles) have been sent down to him from his Lord? Say: Signs are only with Allah, and I am only a plain warner. (M. Taqi Usmani)

In other words, Allah is saying that the unbelievers should not expect any miracles from Muhammad! All the above Qur’anic verses clearly indicate that performing miracles was not one of the functions of Muhammad. The reason why the Meccans persistently demanded for miracles was because Muhammad had acknowledged the miracles of the “ancient prophets” of God. However, Muhammad made a colossal error by comparing himself to Moses and Jesus – two of the greatest miracle workers. So when he claimed to speak in God’s name, they wanted divine assurance:

Surah 21:5: They have said, “It, (the Qur’an), is only the result of some confused dreams. He is only a poet. He should show us some miracles, as the ancient Prophets had done.” (Sarwar)

As the above Qur’anic verse testifies, the Meccans were neither impressed nor intrigued by the Qur’an. Even though the Qur’an was revealed in their own native tongue, they cannot see it as a miracle. In fact, they viewed it as “the result of some confused dreams.” Nonetheless, they swore that if Muhammad could only perform “a miracle” before them, they would then believe in the Qur’an. Just a single miracle was sufficient:

Surah 6:109: They swear by Allah with their most solemn oaths that if a miracle were to be shown to them, they would believe in this Book. Say, “Miracles are up to Allah alone.” And, for all you know, even if a miracle were shown to them, they would not believe. (Safi Kaskas)

There was none! Their persistence in demanding for miracles and their sworn promise that in the event of one they would believe in his message, gradually engendered in Muhammad a feeling of hope. He felt that Allah would certainly send a miraculous confirmation of his prophethood. This would then awe every disbeliever into belief. But none came. And doubts began to set in into Muhammad’s heart. These allegations regarding the doubts of Muhammad are not mere conjectures or hypotheses. They are based on facts that can be easily substantiated by the Qur’an itself. Numerous passages in the Qur’an show that Muhammad experienced a period of uncertainty when no miraculous signs were sent to confirm his mission. The most explicit is stated in the following Qur’anic verse:

Surah 11:12: You may feel the inclination to leave aside a part of what is revealed to you and you may be distressed because they say, ‘Why has no treasure been sent down to him, why has no angel come with him?’ But you are only to give warning. God is the guardian of all things. (W. Khan)

It can be seen that Muhammad underwent some sort of an inner spiritual crisis when he lost all hope of a miraculous sign. Time and again, Muhammad had to be reminded that his function is only to give warning.” The situation reached a point where Allah had to sternly caution him not to become like those who “reject the Signs of Allah. This strong admonishment of Allah is revealed in the following Qur’anic verses:

Surah 10:94-95: If you were in doubt about what We have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Book from before you: Verily, the Truth has really come to you from your Lord: So do not be in any way of those in doubt. And do not be of those who reject the Signs of Allah, or you shall be of those who will perish. (Syed Vickar Ahamed)

Muhammad was rejected by the Meccans because of his inability to perform miracles like the ancient prophets of God. This became difficult for him. Not only was Muhammad rebuked for failing to understand his limitation but Allah also challenged him to produce miracles on his own if he can:

Surah 6:35: And if their shunning is difficult for you, then make a tunnel in the earth or a ladder to the sky if you can, so that you bring them a miracle. If Allah wanted, He would assemble them to the guidance, so do not be of the ignorant. (Ali Bakhtiari Nejad)

Muslims who attribute phenomenal status to Muhammad and believe that Allah has set him on a higher plane of knowledge than all the previous prophets of God should seriously consider the confession of Muhammad in following Qur’anic verse. Muhammad was commanded to openly acknowledge his limitations as a warner:

Surah 7:188: Say: I do not control any benefit or harm for my own soul except as Allah please. Had I known the unseen I would have had much of good and no evil would have touched me; I am nothing but a warner and the giver of good news to a people who believe. (Shakir)

Despite the Qur’an’s clear admission of the absence of any supernatural power, Muslims continue to claim that their Prophet was a miracle worker. Of course, it is impossible for such claims to be made during the lifetime of Muhammad. It was only after his death that rumors began to be circulated claiming that he performed all sorts of miraculous marvels. The greater the distance in time and space, the greater the fiction grew. Even though some of the learned scholars of Islam knew for sure that these claims cannot be true, they remained silent. They knew perfectly well that all these claims contradict the Qur’an.

Muslims often use the Hadiths to claim miracles for Muhammad. However, Muhammad himself confessed in the Qur’an that he does not possess any supernatural powers. If he had actually performed the miracles attributed to him in the Hadiths, then how are Muslims going to reconcile the denial of all such miracles in the Qur’an? These miracle-mongers fail to understand that in their misguided enthusiasm to validate Muhammad as a true prophet of God, they invalidate the teachings of the Qur’an. What is worth mentioning here is the fact that even those scholars of Islam who understood the Qur’an proficiently in the Arabic language, remained captive to these delusions.

For example, Qadi ‘Iyad, (1088 C.E.-1149 C.E.), an Andalusian judge who was both a theologian and a genealogist wrote a book in praise of Muhammad. He stated that whenever the Prophet passed by, the stones and trees would walk up and say: “Peace be upon you, O Apostle of God!”

Muslims eagerly accept this as true without ever wondering how this conviction of theirs can be reconciled with all the Qur’anic verses that testify that no miracles ever occurred when the contemporaries of Muhammad demanded for one. The sort of miracle that the contemporaries of Muhammad demanded was relatively minor. They only wanted Muhammad to make water gush out of the ground. (Surah 17:90) If stones and trees actually greeted Muhammad would not this be a far more convincing reason to accept him as a prophet of God?

Speaking of stones, the only stone that greeted Muhammad was the one that struck him on the face at the Battle of Uhud. [1] Maybe this particular stone was an infidel. If stones and trees truly walked up to Muhammad and greeted him, would not this awe-inspiring sight convince the unbelievers to accept him as a true prophet of God? Instead, the contemporaries of Muhammad who knew him personally viewed him not as a miracle worker but as a madman:

Surah 15:6: And they said: “O you upon whom the Quran has been sent down, you are certainly a madman.” (Ahmed Raza Khan)

Surah 37:36: And said: “Shall we forsake our gods for a mad poet?” (Pickthall)

Surah 44:14: Again, they turned away from him and they said: He is one who is taught by others, one who is possessed. (Laleh Bakhtiar)

We will now consider a couple of very significant Qur’anic verses which prove conclusively that Muhammad could not have performed any miracles whatsoever as Muslims claim. Let us read and analyze Surah 29:50-51:

Surah 29:50-51: And they say: Why are not signs sent down upon him from his Lord? Say: The signs are only with Allah and I am only a plain warner. Is it not enough for them that We have revealed to you the Book which is recited to them? Most surely there is mercy in this and a reminder for a people who believe. (Shakir)

The above Qur’anic verses provide irrefutable evidences to confirm that Allah did not empower Muhammad with the ability to perform miracles. Instead of miracles, Muhammad was given the Qur’an. And Allah asks rhetorically, “Is it not enough?” Therefore, any claim that Muhammad actually performed miracles would now imply that the Qur’an is indeed “not enough.” This means that Allah was wrong in his estimation that the Qur’an alone is indeed sufficient for both the authentication of Muhammad’s prophethood and the success of his assigned mission.

In his interpretation of Surah 29:51, the late Sunni scholar Muhammad Asad explained the meaning of this Qur’anic verse in his esteemed work known as the “Message of the Qur’an. He candidly admitted:

This highly elliptic sentence has a fundamental bearing on the purport of the Qur’an as a whole. In many places the Qur’an stresses the fact that the Prophet Muhammad, despite his being the last and greatest of God’s apostles, was not empowered to perform miracles similar to those with which the earlier prophets are said to have reinforced their verbal messages. His only miracle was and is the Qur’an itself – a message perfect in its lucidity and ethical comprehensiveness, destined for all times and all stages of human development, addressed not merely to the feelings but also to the minds of men, open to everyone, whatever his race or social environment, and bound to remain unchanged forever. (Asad, Message of the Qur’an p. 427, fn. 71, – Dar Al-Andalus Limited 3 Library Ramp, Gibraltar 1993)

This admission is coming not from an enemy of Islam but a devout Muslim scholar. And this fact is also substantiated in the most authentic Hadith in the Muslim world:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 92, Number 379:

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, “There was no prophet among the prophets but was given miracles because of which people had security or had belief, but what I was given was the Divine Inspiration which Allah revealed to me. So I hope that my followers will be more than those of any other prophet on the Day of Resurrection.”

This admission of Muhammad is significant. He acknowledged that while all other prophets were given miracles, he was but given the Divine Inspiration” which Allah revealed to him. This clearly proves that Muhammad could not have performed any miracles as Muslims claim. Muhammad himself exposes the lies that his followers created after his death. Surah 29:51 sounds the death knell for any Muslim who claims that Muhammad performed miracles. The only miracle that was given to Muhammad was the Qur’an. If Muhammad was given any other miracles in addition to the Qur’an, then this falsifies the statement of Allah regarding the sufficiency of the Qur’an. Let us look at another Qur’anic verse which also highlights a similar thought:

Surah 13:43: (Muhammad), the unbelievers say, “You are not a Messenger.” Say, “God and those who have the knowledge of the Book are sufficient witness to my prophethood.” (Sarwar)

Notice that miracles are not included as one of the witnesses to validate the prophethood of Muhammad. The irony is that each time Muslims attribute miracles to Muhammad, they also invalidate the teachings of Allah, Muhammad and the Qur’an at the same instant. The dilemma for Muslims is that it is a lose, lose situation for them. If Muslims believe in the miracles of Muhammad, then they have to reject the Qur’an since it denies any such miracles. On the other hand, if Muslims acknowledge the fact that Muhammad did not perform any miracles, then how can they be sure that he was truly sent by God?

Saying that the Qur’an alone is sufficient as a witness to authenticate the prophethood of Muhammad does not solve the problem. Why do we say that? The Qur’an acknowledges that both Moses and Jesus were given the inspired Scriptures of God. (Surah 11:110, Surah 5:46) Yet, the Qur’an also acknowledges that in addition to the Scriptures they were also given miracles to authenticate their prophethood. Substantiating this truth, the following Qur’anic verse testifies that the prophethood of Jesus was authenticated by the miracles he performed with the divine backing of God. After stating that God sent Jesus as a Messenger to the Children of Israel, the Qur’an records Jesus as saying:

Surah 3:49: “I have brought you signs of my appointment from your Lord. I will make for you the likeness of a bird from clay; I will breathe into it and, with Allah’s leave, it will become a living bird. I will heal the blind and the lepers, and raise the dead to life, by Allah’s leave. Furthermore, I will tell you what you have eaten and what you have stored in your houses. Surely these are the signs to convince you if you are believers.” (Farook Malik)

Read the words of Jesus once again:

I have brought you signs of my appointment from your Lord.”

This means that according to the Qur’an, Jesus came with credentials that he was sent by God. Muhammad had none. So how can Muslims be sure that he was truly sent by God? In fact, there are more than twenty Qur’anic verses which testify to Muhammad’s inability to perform miracles. The dilemma remains.

DOES THE QUR’AN QUALIFY AS A MIRACLE?

Muslims claim that the Qur’an is a miracle in itself. However, they quickly add that the miracle in the Qur’an can only be seen when it is read in Arabic. This claim must be analyzed objectively. We will now examine this claim to see whether the Qur’an truly qualifies as a miracle.

For a miracle to be qualified as such, it should be perceived as a miracle by one and all. What do we mean by this? It means that no matter from what national or ethnic background those witnessing the miracle may come from, they must perceive it as a miracle. For example, when someone is raised from the dead, it is perceived as a miracle in Europe, Africa, Asia or in any part of the world. Both the Bible and the Qur’an testify that Jesus cured the lepers, raised the dead, healed the sick, cast out the demons and performed many other powerful works. These miracles will be recognized as miracles no matter in which country Jesus performs them. It does not need any interpretation, translation, education, explanation, above the average intelligence or the understanding of a specific language to know it is a miracle. This is the definition of a true miracle.

Now, try giving the Qur’an to someone who does not know Arabic and tell that person: “This is a miracle.” What do you think would be his or her response? We can almost say with certainty that the response would be something like this:

What miracle? Are you kidding me? How could this be a miracle? I don’t understand this language. I don’t understand Arabic. It might be a miracle for you, but not for me. Stop wasting my time.”

Today, about 80% of mankind are not Muslims. They simply cannot see the Qur’an as anything remotely close to the meaning of the word miracle. For the remaining 20% of the population who are Muslims, most of them do not read or understand Arabic. Since the claim is that only when the Qur’an is read in Arabic one can see the miracle in it, this means that the great majority of the Muslims themselves cannot see it as a miracle. Furthermore, we must understand what Arabic is being discussed here? The Arabic of the Qur’an is archaic Arabic which is different from the Arabic spoken today. This means that even most modern-day Arabs will have trouble perceiving the Qur’an as a miracle.

Today doubts about the Qur’an are expressed openly by a growing number of people who read it with understanding in a language they are familiar with. This should not surprise us. When one studies the Qur’an with understanding, it becomes evident that it contains not only multiple errors and contradictions but also morally unacceptable teachings. Take for example the difficulties that arise from verses such as the following:

Surah 20:53: “He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out.” (Yusuf Ali)

Surah 43:10: “(Allah) has made for you the earth like a bed spread out. (Yusuf Ali)

While these Qur’anic verses may not be a problem for the desert Bedouins of Muhammad’s time, they will certainly create doubts in those who read them today. Ironically, when these Qur’anic verses are read in Arabic, the errors become even more prominent to the reader. For example, both ancient and modern scholars of Islam acknowledge that the Arabic term, “mahdan as used by Allah in the above Qur’anic verses means “flat” and nothing else. The supreme religious authority of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdul Aziz Ibn Baaz, declared:

The earth is flat and those Muslims who say otherwise contradict the Qur’anic teachings.

The late Sheikh Abdul Aziz Ibn Baaz was in his time the highest Islamic authority in Saudi Arabia. He had an in-depth understanding of the Arabic language as well as an outstanding knowledge of Islam. He was also a very dedicated Muslim. In 1993, he issued a fatwa saying:

The earth is flat. Whoever claims it is round is an atheist deserving of punishment.” (Muslim religious edict, 1993, Sheikh Abdul Aziz Ibn Baaz, Supreme religious authority, Saudi Arabia)

Sheikh Ibn Baaz was well aware that scientific discoveries point to a round earth that orbits the sun. However, as a devout Muslim, he had to choose between the scientific discoveries of mere humans and the divine revelations of Allah in the Qur’an. Being a true dedicated Muslim, Sheikh Ibn Baaz strongly believed that Allah does not make mistakes. Therefore, he decided to stay with Allah’s side of the story. Muslims can deny all these evidences as much as they want but they will be only deceiving themselves. In contrast, if you go to the inspired writings in the Bible, you will be surprised to learn how it perfectly describes the shape of the earth with scientific accuracy:

Isaiah 40:22: “There is One who is dwelling above the circle of the earth.”

It is important to note that the Book of Isaiah was written about 700 years before the time of Jesus. This means it was written some 1300 years before the Qur’an was revealed. Yet, at a time when mankind believed the earth to be flat, the Book of Isaiah accurately describes the shape of the earth as a circle. On the other hand, even though the Qur’an came some 1300 years after the Book of Isaiah, it still got it wrong. It erroneously taught that the planet earth is flat as a bed. Is this the “miracle” which the Qur’an has to offer?

Well, how does the Qur’an measure-up in the field of moral teachings? Can the teaching of the Qur’an in this vital area be considered as miraculous? Although there are numerous teachings in the Qur’an that are morally unacceptable, we will consider just two examples to evaluate the claim by Muslims that the Qur’an is a miracle. We will begin our evaluation by reading the following Qur’anic verse:

Surah 33:50: O Prophet! Surely We have made lawful to you your wives whom you have given their dowries, and those whom your right hand possesses out of those whom Allah has given to you as prisoners of war. (Shakir)

The commandment in Surah 33:50 is only meant for the Prophet of Islam. In view of the polygamous nature of Muslim marriages, Allah made it lawful for Muhammad to engage in sexual relationship with his numerous wives. In contrast, the model of the Christian marriage is based on God’s original standard in the Garden of Eden which is monogamy. However, it is not within the scope of this article to take issue with the polygamous nature of Muslim marriages. But what we will take issue with is the shocking authorization for Muhammad to rape the female captives of war. In the above Qur’anic verse, Allah clearly authorizes Muhammad to engage in sexual intercourse with the female prisoners of war. Having sex with prisoners of war is considered as statutory rape because the victims are in no position to resist. Rape is clearly sanctioned in the Qur’an. This Qur’anic verse also states that it is Allah who provides these women for Muhammad to rape. To put it bluntly, Allah is worse than a common pimp.

Of course, Allah does not overlook the sexual urges of the rest of the Muslims who fight for his cause. He also made provisions in the Qur’an for these ones to rape the female captives of war. What is even more shocking is the fact that Allah took it upon himself to specifically reveal a Qur’anic verse that sanctions the raping of female captives even if these women are married with husbands:

Surah 4:24: Also forbidden are married women unless they are captives of war. Such is the decree of Allah. (Ahmed Ali)

Also forbidden are married women, except those who have passed into your hands as prisoners of war. This is a commandment of God to you. (W. Khan)

This means that while Muslim men are prohibited from engaging in sexual intercourse with married women, there is an exception to this rule if the married women are captives of war. Under such circumstances, Muslim men are authorized to rape the married women who taken as captives. This authorization comes from Allah. The approval of rape is clearly taught in the Qur’an. Can a book containing such debased teachings as these be considered as a miracle? END OF MIRACLES

Numerous evidences have been provided above to prove why it is not possible to believe in the miracles of Muhammad without rejecting the teachings of the Qur’an. However, there is yet another reason why Muslims cannot believe in the miracles of Muhammad without rejecting the Qur’an. The Qur’an clearly teaches that Allah has stopped sending miracles long before the time of Muhammad. In this segment, we will discuss two very important teachings in the Qur’an which prove conclusively that Muhammad could not have performed any miracles whatsoever. One: We will provide evidences from the Quran itself to prove the shocking reality that Allah has stopped sending miracles. Two: We will provide evidences from the Quran itself to prove that Allah’s decision to stop sending miracles anymore was put into effect before the time of Muhammad. We will begin by reading the following Qur’anic verse. In view of the importance of this Qur’anic verse, we have provided three different translations:

Surah 17:59: And what stopped Us from sending the Signs except that the previous people disbelieved in them. And We sent to Thamud the camel with foresight, but they did her wrong. And We do not send the signs except to make them fearful. (The Monotheist Group)

And We refrain from sending the Signs, only because the men of former generations treated them as false: We sent the she-camel to the Thamud to open their eyes, but they treated her wrongfully: We only send the Signs by way of terror and warning from evil. (Yusuf Ali)

Nothing has prevented Us from sending down Signs, except that people in the past denied them. We gave the people of Thamud the she-camel as a visible Sign, and they sinned against it. We sent Signs as a means of warning. (Safi Kaskas)

Besides establishing the fact that Allah has stopped sending miracles, the above Qur’anic verse also provides the reason why Allah has decided not to send miracles anymore. It states that Allah finds it futile to send miracles anymore because “the people in the past disbelieved in them.” Allah sent the miraculous she-camel to the people of Thamud to “open their eyes” but instead “they did her wrong.” Other verses in the Qur’an reveal that the people of Thamud actually slaughtered the she-camel which Allah miraculously produced out of a rock. (Surah 7:77) After this event, Allah decided not to send miracles anymore.

It’s hard to imagine how Muslims can put faith in this excuse of Allah. Allah is in effect saying: “We don’t do miracles anymore because the people of Thamud killed our she-camel.” If you were to read the full account of this incident in the Qur’an, you will learn that it was the leaders of Thamud who did not believe in the miraculous she-camel of Allah. Does it make any sense at all for Allah to hold back miracles on the account of a few who lacked faith? Is it fair to use these few as a measurement to represent and judge all future generations of mankind?

Allah concludes the verse in Surah 17:59 by saying that instead of miracles, he will now send Signs only “by way of terror.” In other words, without miracles, Allah now wishes to terrorize the unbelievers into submission. However, even this attempt of Allah to terrorize the unbelievers results in a dismissal failure. In the very next verse, Allah admits that his acts of terrorism against the unbelievers only increase their transgression:

Surah 17:60: “We put terror and warning into them, but it only increases their inordinate transgression!” (Yusuf Ali)

However, this is another lie. In fact, Allah was powerless to send the Signs even by “way of terror” as he had sworn to do so in the Qur’an. When Muhammad threatened the unbelievers that Allah would cause “the skies to fall down” upon them, they challenged him to carry out this threat of Allah:

Surah 17:90-92: “We will not believe you until you cause…the skies to fall down upon us-crushing us, as you have threatened to do. (Safi Kaskas)

Nothing happened! Notice now the contrast between Allah and Jehovah. When Moses announced the impending judgmental plagues against the nation of Egypt, Jehovah executed these plagues with precision. (Exodus Chapters 8-12, Surah 17:101) Why could not Allah do the same for Muhammad?

Based on the evidences provided by the Qur’an itself, we now know for a certainty that Allah has stopped sending miracles. However, the vital question that still remains is when did Allah stop sending miracles? In other words, during which period in time did Allah enforce his decision to stop sending miracles? Let us now analyze Surah 17:59 in greater detail to learn the answer to this vital question. This Qur’anic verse delivers a death-blow to Islam. It provides one of the strongest evidences to confirm that Muhammad could not have performed any miracles whatsoever. This Qur’anic verse also provides irrefutable evidences to prove that Allah is a liar and the Qur’an is a lie. But more importantly, it helps us to identify who Allah truly is. You will find the evidences presented here irrefutable. In Surah 17:59, Allah declared the following:

“We refrain from sending the Signs (miracles) because the men of former generations treated them as false: We sent the she-camel to the Thamud to open their eyes, but they treated her wrongfully.” (Yusuf Ali)

This event of the miraculous she-camel is also mentioned at length in Surah 7:73-77. Many vital details can be learned from these Qur’anic verses. According to these Qur’anic verses, it was the Prophet Salih who was sent to the people of Thamud. He was with the people of Thamud during this tragic occasion when the unbelievers cruelly slaughtered the miraculous she-camel of Allah. We will now read the relevant Qur’anic verses:

Surah 7:73: To the Thamud people We sent Salih, one of their own brethren: He said: “O my people! Worship Allah: ye have no other god but Him. Now hath come unto you a clear Sign from your Lord! This she-camel of Allah is a Sign unto you: So leave her to graze in Allah’s earth, and let her come to no harm, or ye shall be seized with a grievous punishment. (Yusuf Ali)

Surah 7:75: The leaders of the arrogant party among his people said to those who were reckoned powerless – those among them who believed: “know ye indeed that Salih is a messenger from his Lord?” They said: “We do indeed believe in the revelation which hath been sent through him.” (Ibid)

Surah 7:77: They, then, cruelly slaughtered the she-camel and turned with disdain from their Lord’s commandment and said, “Salih, bring about that [punishment] that you had threatened us with, if you are truly one of God’s Messengers.” (Safi Kaskas)

The Qur’an does not mention the time period when the Prophet Salih was sent to the people of Thamud. But we can say with certainty that he was sent before the time of Jesus Christ. This is because according to Islamic theology no prophets or apostles were raised between the time of Jesus and Muhammad. In other words, there were no prophets between Jesus and Muhammad. Therefore, the Prophet Salih must have been sent before the time of Jesus Christ.

Sahih Muslim, Book 030, Hadith Number 5836:

Abu Huraira reported many ahadith from Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) and one is that Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: I am most close to Jesus, son of Mary, among the whole of mankind in this worldly life and the next life. They said: Allah’s Messenger how is it? Thereupon he said: Prophets are brothers in faith, having different mothers. Their religion is, however, one and there is no Apostle between us between I and Jesus Christ.

This clearly proves that the Prophet Salih was sent to the people of Thamud before the time of Jesus. This is important because it means that Allah must have stopped sending miracles long before the time Jesus set foot on earth. This raises a vital question. Since Allah has stopped sending miracles long before the time of Jesus, who then was the source behind the powerful works of Jesus? Does not this prove that Allah simply cannot be the One who gave Jesus the power to perform miracles? If Allah is not the One, then who did? It has to be none other than Jehovah, the God whom true Christians worship. He must be the One who empowered Jesus with the ability to perform miracles. [2]

How are Muslims going to reconcile Allah’s statement to the effect that he has stopped sending miracles before the time of Jesus with his claims in the Qur’an that he was the source behind the powerful miracles performed by Jesus? Allah clearly lied when he said:

Surah 3:49: And will make Jesus a Messenger to the Children of Israel saying: “I have come to you with a sign from your Lord, that I design for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah’s Leave; and I heal him who was born blind, and the leper, and I bring the dead to life by Allah’s Leave. And I inform you of what you eat, and what you store in your houses. Surely, therein is a sign for you, if you believe.” (Hilali-Khan)

This proves that Allah lied in the Qur’an. It also proves that he is but an impostor. He pretended to be the source behind the powerful works of Jesus when the Qur’an itself admits that he could have done so. If Allah did perform miracles through Jesus, this would then make the Qur’an false since it claims that Allah has stopped sending miracles long before the time of Jesus. Then again, if Allah did not perform miracles through Jesus, this would still make the Qur’an false because it claims that Allah was the source behind the powerful miracles of Jesus. Either way the Qur’an is false. Muslims have to now choose between a false sacred text and a false sacred text. And not to forget, the problem of the false deity who originated these false sacred texts in the Qur’an? This exposé from the Qur’an itself is more than sufficient to prove that Allah cannot be the true God and Islam cannot be the religion of the true God.

The above evidences from the Qur’an confirm two important facts: One: Allah has stopped sending miracles. Two: He has stopped sending miracles long before the time of Muhammad. This simply means that Muhammad could not have performed any miracle as Muslims claim. The Qur’an self-destructs if the Muslim claim is true. In order to know the true identity of Allah who lied on multiple levels in the Qur’an, we need to compare him with another character whose traits are identical:

John 8:44: The Devil was a manslayer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own natural inclination, because he is a liar and the father of the lie.

Muslims beware! This should alert Muslims regarding the real source behind the inspiration of the Qur’an. Allah dishonestly proclaimed whatever he felt that was necessary to deceive the people. Whenever Allah wanted to create an impact on his audience with his pretentious awesome power, he spoke about the miracles which he supposedly performed in the distant past. However, when the contemporaries of Muhammad demanded Allah to validate his claim as the true God through the manifestation of miracles, he lied to them saying: “I have stopped sending miracles, as people in the past did not believe in them.”

This deceitful chameleon-like behavior of Allah not only makes him untrustworthy but it also exposes him as an impostor. He lied shamelessly to deceive us. Today, more than a billion Muslims are deceived. In contrast, it is impossible for the true God to lie:

Hebrews 6:18: It is impossible for God to lie.

Jehovah, by his very nature cannot lie. This is the hallmark of a true God. Although some did not exercise faith in the miracles performed by Moses, this did not stop the true God from empowering the future generations of prophets who were sent after the time of Moses. With his divine backing, they performed many powerful miracles not only to validate their calling but even more so to turn the hearts of sincere ones back to God. The most outstanding example is Jesus Christ. Jesus was not only empowered to perform many powerful miracles but he was also sent after the time of Moses. The Qur’an itself acknowledges this fact:

Surah 2:87: We gave Jesus, son of Mary, profound miracles and supported him with the Holy Spirit. (Khalifa)

The lack of faith on the part of one generation did not become an excuse for Jehovah to refrain from sending miracles to later generations. For instance, even after witnessing the powerful miracles that Jehovah performed through Moses, some Israelites turned back to idolatry. (Surah 20: 83-91) However, this did not prevent the true God from sending miracles to the later generations of Israelites. A case in point is Jesus Christ. Jehovah empowered Jesus to perform many outstanding miracles to a much later generation of Israelites. (Surah 3:49) The Qur’an itself acknowledges this fact. Therefore, why should the disbelief of some become an excuse for Allah to stop sending miracles? To say that miracles are not necessary because previous generations did not believe in them is evidently an excuse. Even if the great majority chooses not to believe, miracles still served to prove that the prophets sent to speak in God’s name were divinely authorized by him. It authenticated their prophethood. This was true in the case of both Moses and Jesus.

The important fact that Muslims must seriously take into consideration is that sincere ones who lived in the past did believe and respond to the manifestations of divine miracles. Moved by the miracles they witnessed, many repented and turned back to serving the true God. It is extremely vital for Muslims to pay attention to the fact that the Qur’an itself contradicts the claim of Allah. Contradicting the very reason which Allah gave for not sending miracles, the Qur’an testifies that the miracles performed in the past did move sincere ones to believe. The Qur’an confirms that the miracles performed by both Moses and Jesus not only moved sincere ones to believe in the messages they delivered but the miracles they performed also turned the hearts of the sincere ones back to the true God. For example, the Qur’an teaches that the miracles performed by Moses even moved the hearts of the “sorcerers” of Pharaoh to abandon their demonic practices and turn back to the true God. Read now the testimony of the Qur’an which exposes the lies of Allah:

Surah 7:113-122: “So there came the sorcerers to Pharaoh: They said, “of course we shall have a suitable reward if we win!” Pharaoh said: “Yea and more, – for ye shall in that case be raised to posts nearest to my person.”

They said: “O Moses! Wilt thou throw first, or shall we have the first throw?” Said Moses: “Throw you first.” So when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people, and struck terror into them: for they showed a great feat of magic.

We put it into Moses’ mind by inspiration: “Throw now thy rod” Behold! It swallows up straight away all the falsehoods which they fake! Thus truth was confirmed, and all that they did was made of no effect. So the great ones were vanquished there and then, and were made to look small. But the sorcerers fell down prostrate in adoration. Saying: “We believe in the Lord of the Worlds, – “The Lord of Moses and Aaron.” (Yusuf Ali)

Even under threat of death by crucifixion at the hands of Pharaoh, the repentant sorcerers replied:

Surah 7:125: “For us, we are but sent back unto our Lord.” (Yusuf Ali)

This proves that Allah lied when he said that the people in the past did not believe in miracles. The people of Mecca wanted to be sure that Muhammad was indeed sent by God. They wanted him to perform some miracles to authenticate his calling. However, instead of providing them with a miraculous sign, Allah came up with an excuse. He lied when he said that they would not believe even if miracles are manifested right before them. Citing as an example, Allah stated that the Meccans would not believe even if he “sent down angels to them.”

Surah 6:111: Even if We sent down angels to them, and caused the dead to speak to them, and We gathered together everything in front of them, they would still not believe, unless Allah had so willed. But most of them behave ignorantly. (W. Khan)

This is a lie because this is one of the very miracles that the Meccans had been demanding Muhammad to perform to validate his claim as a true prophet of God. They challenged him to bring forth angels as a sign to authenticate his prophethood:

Surah 15:6-7: They say, ‘Receiver of this Quran! You are definitely mad. Why do you not bring us the angels, if you are telling the truth?’ (Abdel Haleem)

Just think. Will someone who demands specifically for the manifestation of a specific miracle as evidence, disbelieve the very miracle he demands when it is manifested right before his very eyes? We do not think so. What is even more damaging for Islam is the admission in the Qur’an that the cause for their disbelief in miracles does not originate from within them but from Allah. Surah 6:111 clearly states that they would still not believe, unless Allah had so willed.” In other words, to believe or not to believe is beyond their control. More on this in the next segment. It is important to understand that the Meccans are not disbelievers of miracles as Allah so desperately tries to portray them. The Qur’an itself testifies that they do believe in miracles:

Surah 21:5: “He should show us some miracles, as the ancient Prophets had done.” (Sarwar)

The above Qur’anic verse is clear. It testifies that the Meccans did believe in the miracles of the ancient Prophets. Well, with no miracles to authenticate Islam, what was it that finally led to the conversion of the Meccans to Islam? It certainly was not the walking talking trees that greeted Muhammad. When the sword of Muhammad began to glitter in the hot Arabian Desert, they accepted Islam and entered “the religion of Allah in troops”

Surah 110:2: And thou seest mankind entering the religion of Allah in troops. (Pickthall)

It was the sword of Muhammad that eventually won converts for Allah. We will now focus on the subject of Predestination in Islam. We will discuss how predestination nullifies the purpose of miracles and renders the very function of the miracles meaningless.

PREDESTINATION NULLIFIES MIRACLES

The contemporaries of Muhammad were puzzled as to why no miracles were sent down to him from Allah. Instead of validating Muhammad with a miraculous sign to authenticate his calling, Allah revealed the following Qur’anic verse:

Surah 13:27: The unbelievers say: “How is it that no miracle was sent down to him by his Lord?” Say: Allah leads whosoever He wills astray, and guides whoever turns to Him in repentance.” (Ahmed Ali)

This Qur’anic verse not only substantiates the fact that Muhammad did not perform any miracles but it also exposes the malicious nature of Allah. Would it not be more merciful to send a miracle to convince and save the unbelievers than to deliberately lead them astray? Even the part which states that Allah guides whoever turns to Him in repentance” is a lie. It is a lie because “whoever turns to Him in repentance” are willed to do so by Allah. In other words, they are predestined to “turn to Him in repentance.” As such, their repentance does not originate from within them. It is not their own. Can this then be true repentance? The following Qur’anic verse attests to this fact:

Surah 10:100: No soul can believe, except by the will of Allah, and He will place doubt on those who will not understand. (Yusuf Ali)

The above Qur’anic verse clearly states that “no soul can believe except by the will of Allah.” Since there can be no repentance without believe, this means that those who “turn to Him in repentance” are those whom Allah has willed to believe. In other words, only those who are willed to believe will “turn to Him in repentance.” This logically follows that all those who turn to Allah in repentance are actually willed to do so by Allah.

As an aside, look at the spiteful spirit of Allah. Should not guidance be given to those who do not understand? Instead, the above Qur’anic verse states that Allah “will place doubt on those who will not understand.” Therefore, instead of providing guidance to those who lack understanding, Allah increases their lack of understanding by placing doubts in their hearts. The following Qur’anic verses are even more damaging:

Surah 6:109-111: The unbelievers solemnly swear by God that if they were to be shown some miracle, they would certainly believe. Muhammad, tell them, “Only with God are all the miracles.” Even if a miracle was to take place, they still would not believe. We will turn their hearts and vision away from a miracle; they did not have faith in miracles at the first time, and We will leave them blind in their rebellion. Had We sent the angels to them, made the dead speak to them, and resurrected all things before their very eyes, they still would not believe unless Allah willed it to be so. But, in fact, most of them ignore the evidence. (Sarwar)

These Qur’anic verses are destructive on multiple levels. The verses reveal that Allah “will turn their hearts and vision away from a miracle.” Since the primary purpose of miracles is to engender belief, Allah nullifies the very purpose of the miracles by “turning their hearts and vision away from a miracle.” Therefore, in every sense, Allah is the cause for the disbelief of those who disbelief in the miracles. This leads us to one inevitable conclusion. All those who do not believe in the miracles did not believe in the miracles because Allah does not wish them to believe. And to substantiate this sad reality in Islam, the above Qur’anic verses state that “they would not believe unless Allah willed it to be so.”

Besides confirming the fact that there is no free-will in Islam, the above Qur’anic verses also expose the discriminatory nature of Allah against all those who are predestined to become disbelievers. The disbelievers are disbelievers because it is the will of Allah for them to be disbelievers. If Allah has already preordained their disbelief what useful purpose could there be for Miracles? What useful purpose could there be for Prophets to guide them? What useful purpose could there be for Scriptures to instruct them? Do not all these divine provisions amount to nothing more than an exercise in futility? [3]

There is still one other issue that needs to be addressed here. Concerning the disbelievers, the above Qur’anic verses state that they did not have faith in miracles at the first time.” We will now prove why this is another lie of Allah. It is important to note that these Qur’anic verses were revealed specifically to deal with the Meccans who repeatedly demanded for miracles. In fact, the very purpose of these Qur’anic verses was to explain to the Meccans why Allah did not empower Muhammad to perform miracles when they demanded for one. This entire situation would not have emerged had Muhammad performed some sort of a miracle for the Meccans. This proves that the Meccans did not witness any miracles since Muhammad performed none. As such, the “miracles” which “they did not have faith in at the first time” can only be referring to the miracles which they must have witnessed at the hands of the prophets who came before the time of Muhammad. But how can this even be possible when the Qur’an itself admits that no Messengers or Prophets or Warners were ever sent to the Arabs prior to the time of Muhammad? (Surah 32:3, Surah 34:44) There is no such thing as miracles at the first time” for the Meccans. This excuse of Allah is a complete lie.

Furthermore, if miracles were truly sent down to the Meccans, the Qur’an would have specifically described what these miracles were. It would have identified these miracles. But it did not. Instead, the Qur’an provides a list of the miracles that Allah did not send. Is it not astounding that not once does the Qur’an mention the sort of miracle that Allah sent to the contemporaries of Muhammad? Did not Allah specifically describe the miracle that he supposedly sent to the people of Thamud? Remember the miraculous she-camel? Of course, Allah could describe the miracles he supposedly sent in the distant past because there are no living witnesses to call his bluff. Let us resume our discussion on the subject of predestination and its effect on miracles. Allah the Merciful declared:

Surah 32:13: Had we willed, we could have given every soul its guidance, but it is already predetermined that I will fill Hell with Jinns and humans, all together. (Khalifa)

According to this Qur’anic verse, Allah does not and will not provide guidance to everyone. He holds back guidance intentionally for the sole pleasure of filling Hell with humans and Jinns. How can Muslims submit to a deity that deliberately holds back guidance for the sole purpose of fulfilling his predetermined quota of the number of persons he wants to condemn to Hell? This is not only grossly immoral but also extremely evil. In the first place, it is unthinkable that God will ever set a predetermined quota of the number of persons he wants to send to the confines of Hell. Yet, this is true of Allah. And the Qur’an clearly states that for this reason alone, he holds back guidance from those whom he predestines to Hell.

A loving God will never predetermine the destination of anyone. In contrast, Allah chooses not to guide all those whom he predestines to eternity in Hell in the hereafter. Therefore, miracles serve no purpose whatsoever in Islam. No matter what, those whom Allah destined to be saved will be saved and those whom Allah destined to be condemned will be condemned. So what is the purpose of miracles in Islam? Compare the spiteful spirit of Allah who deliberately holds back guidance with the compassion of Jehovah:

2 Peter 3:9: Jehovah is not slow concerning his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with you because he does not desire anyone to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance.

The entire belief system of Islam is permeated in the concept of predestination. According to the theology of Islam, all our actions and decisions and even our final destination are predetermined by Allah before we are even born into this world. [4] Therefore, both the righteous and the unrighteous acts of an individual are predetermined by the will of Allah. As such, miracles serve no purpose in Islam. In other words, with or without miracles, mankind’s fate is sealed. This is confirmed in the following teachings of predestination in the Qur’an. Please read these Qur’anic verses carefully:

Surah 4:88: And he whom Allah has made to go astray, you will never find for him any way of guidance. (Hilali-Khan)

Surah 5:44: He whom Allah doometh unto sin, thou by thine efforts wilt avail him naught against Allah. Those are they for whom the Will of Allah is that He cleanses not their hearts. Theirs in the world will be ignominy, and in the Hereafter an awful doom. (Pickthall)

Surah 14:4: Then Allah sendeth whom He will astray, and guideth whom He will. He is the Mighty, the Wise. (Pickthall)

Surah 39:23: And him whom Allah sendeth astray, for him there is no guide. (Pickthall)

All the above Qur’anic verses prove that neither Miracles nor Prophets nor Scriptures can change the outcome of an individual whom Allah has predestined to Hell in the hereafter. As such, miracles as a means to influence an unbeliever make no sense in Islam. The concept of predestination in Islam proves that Allah cannot be the true God. In contrast, the Bible teaches that Jehovah created mankind as free moral agents with the freedom to choose:

Deuteronomy 30:19: “I have put life and death before you, the blessing and the malediction, and you must choose life that you may keep living.”

In spite of overwhelming evidences to the contrary, Muslims still claim that there is evidence in the Qur’an to prove that Muhammad did perform a miraculous act to authenticate his prophethood. They claim that he split the moon into two. We will now address this issue to determine if this claim of Muslims is founded on truth or not.

SPLITTING OF THE MOON

To support their claim that Muhammad miraculously split the moon into two, Muslims often quote Surah 54:1-2. We will now read these Qur’anic verses. Three different translations are provided below:

The Hour of Resurrection drew near and the moon split asunder. Regardless of any Signs these people see, they turn away and say: “This is an ongoing sorcery.” (Maududi)

The Hour of Judgment is nigh and the moon is cleft asunder: But if they see a sign they turn away And say, “This is but transient magic.” (Yusuf Ali)

The Hour of Doom is drawing near and the moon is rent asunder. Whenever they see a miracle, they turn away from it and say, “This is just a powerful magic.” (Sarwar)

Do these Qur’anic verses truly refer to a miracle of Muhammad? The terms “Hour of Resurrection” or “Hour of Judgment” or “Hour of Doom” all allude to the same event. It is known as Qiyamah in Arabic. According to the teachings of Islam, this event will occur at the time of the end. Therefore, Surah 54:1-2 is actually referring to a future event that will take place at the time of the end. In fact, honest Muslim translators of the Qur’an clearly understand that these verses are referring to a future event. Note how this Qur’anic verse is translated in following translation of the Qur’an:

Surah 54:1: The final hour, (that is the Day of Judgment), is drawing near and the moon will be cleft asunder, lose orbit and be disrupted. (Al-Muntakhbab)

As we can clearly see, the above Qur’anic verses are not associated with Muhammad in any way. It is not even related to the time of Muhammad but to an event that will occur at the time of the end. This means there is not a single verse in the Qur’an to support the claim of Muslims that Muhammad truly performed miracles. The second issue which proves that Muhammad could not have split the moon is that the Qur’an itself testifies repeatedly that Muhammad did not perform any miracles. For example, Surah 17:90-93 tells us that when the Meccans demanded Muhammad to produce some miracles to authenticate his calling, Allah commanded Muhammad to confess that he is no more than a human messenger. In other words, he does not have the authority to perform miracles. The same point is also made in Surah 6:37 and Surah 10:20. All these Qur’anic verses are discussed above in detail. Consider now the following facts:

One: Muhammad is not mentioned at all in Surah 54:1-2. This omission is an abnormality if Muhammad is truly the focus of this miraculous event.

Two: If it is referring to a miracle by Muhammad, then it contradicts all the other passages in the Qur’an which shows that Muhammad did not and could not perform miracles.

Three: If it is referring to a miracle by Muhammad, then it contradicts Allah’s reason in the Qur’an as to why Muhammad could not perform miracles. The Qur’an clearly states that his function as “only a warner” does not include the authorization to perform miracles. (Surah 13:7)

Four: Had Muhammad truly performed a miracle of this magnitude, the unbelievers would not thereafter repeatedly ask him for miracles.

Five: The Qur’an itself testifies that the only miracle granted to Muhammad by Allah was the Qur’an. And Allah seals the absolute sufficiency of the Qur’an as miracle by asking: “Is it not enough?” Therefore, any additional miracle would now mean that the Qur’an is indeed insufficient.

Six: The Qur’an consistently refers to the “Hour of Judgment” as an occurrence that will take place at the time of the end when God executes judgment. Therefore, this Qur’anic passage is not describing a miracle of Muhammad but rather a prophecy that is yet to be fulfilled.

Consider now the testimonies of the following well-known Muslim scholars:

Fakhruddin Razi (1149 C.E.–1209 C.E.) was a distinguished Sunni Muslim theologian who excelled in the Arabic language. On the claim by Muslims that Surah 54:1-2 is actually referring to the moon-splitting miracle by Muhammad, Fakhruddin Razi stated the following:

Most of the commentators see in this verse a reference to a phenomenon said to have been witnessed by several of the Prophet’s contemporaries. As described in a number of reports going back to some Companions, the moon appeared one night as if split into two distinct parts. While there is no reason to doubt the subjective veracity of these reports, it is possible that what actually happened was an unusual kind of partial lunar eclipse, which produced an equally unusual optical illusion. But whatever the nature of that phenomenon, it is practically certain that the above Qur’an verse does not refer to it but, rather, to a future event: namely, to what will happen when the Last Hour approaches. (The Qur’an frequently employs the past tense to denote the future, and particularly so in passages which speak of the coming of the Last Hour and of Resurrection Day; this use of the past tense is meant to stress the certainty of the happening to which the verb relates.)

Thus, Raghib regards it as fully justifiable to interpret the phrase inshaqqa l-qamar (“the moon is split asunder”) as bearing on the cosmic cataclysm – the end of the world as we know it – that will occur before the coming of Resurrection Day (see art.shaqq in the Mufradat). As mentioned by Zamakhshari, this interpretation has the support of some of the earlier commentators; and it is, to my mind, particularly convincing in view of the juxtaposition, in the above Quran-verse, of the moon’s “splitting asunder” and the approach of the Last Hour. (In this connection we must bear in mind the fact that none of the Qur’anic allusions to the “nearness” of the Last Hour and the Day of Resurrection is based on the human concept of “time.”) (Ibid., p. 818, fn. 1)

Muhammad A. S. Abdel Hallem (Professor of Islamic Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London). He is well-known for his translation of the Qur’an. He stated the following:

The Arabic uses the past tense, as if that Day were already here, to help the reader/listener imagine how it will be. Some traditional commentators hold the view that this describes an actual event at the time of the Prophet, but it clearly refers to the end of the world. (M. A. S. Abdel Hallem, The Quran, A New Translation, Commentary on Surah 54:1)

Well, what about the Hadiths that claim Muhammad actually performed this miracle? Let us look at one such Hadith.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 56, Number 831:

Narrated By Anas: That the Meccan people requested Allah’s Apostle to show them a miracle, and so he showed them the splitting of the moon.

The problem with this Hadith is that it contradicts the Qur’an. Allah himself provided numerous reasons in the Qur’an as to why Muhammad was not authorized to perform miracles. We also learnt that the only miracle given to Muhammad was the Qur’an. The principle guideline in Islamic theology is that if a Hadith contradicts the Qur’an, it should be rejected. Moreover, this Hadith contradicts other Hadiths. There are Hadiths that clearly proves that Muhammad was never given any miracles aside from the Qur’an.

Well, which of these two Hadiths do Muslims want to believe? The second Hadith certainly carries more weight since unlike the first, it is a direct quote from Muhammad. Let us consider now another vital piece of information. Let us analyze the timeline of the Surahs that are relevant to our discussion:

(i) Surah 54:1-2 which speaks about the splitting of the moon is an Early Meccan Surah.

(ii) Surah 6:109, Surah 13:7 and Surah 29:50 which testify that Muhammad did not and could not perform miracles are Late Meccan Surahs.

(iii) Surah 29:51 which testifies that the Qur’an alone is sufficient as a miracle is also a Late Meccan Surah.

It is important to note that all the Surahs which were revealed after the moon-splitting Surah deny any miracles by Muhammad. If Muhammad truly performed the moon-splitting miracle, then it would be erroneous for the Late Meccan Surahs to deny emphatically the performance of any miracles by Muhammad. Additionally, all the Late Meccan Surahs also testify that since the function of Muhammad is only to warn, he was not authorized by Allah to perform miracles. All these prove that the moon-splitting event in Surah 54:1-2 has nothing to do with Muhammad.

Moreover, had Muhammad truly performed the moon-splitting miracle, he would have surely drawn the attention of the Meccans to this outstanding miracle when challenged to validate his prophethood. But he did not. He remained silent before the Meccans. Is it not astonishing that not once in the entire Qur’an did Allah or Muhammad appeal to this astounding miracle to silence their critics? Why? Because it simply did not happen! Also, since Muslims claim that the Meccans were eye-witnesses to this event, why did not Muhammad summon these eye-witnesses to testify?

In their desperation to equate Muhammad with Moses and Jesus, Muslims attribute this “miracle” to Muhammad even when the evidences prove otherwise. Pointing to the Hadiths where the companions of Muhammad claim that he actually split the moon means nothing when it is built on contradictions and lies. It is important to note that all the Hadiths which state that Muhammad miraculously split the moon into two are based only on the reports by his followers. There is not a single Hadith where we can find a direct statement from Muhammad claiming that he split the moon. However, in order to expose the indefensibility of the Muslim position, we will take this matter a little further. Let us assume that Muhammad did claim personally that he split the moon into two. Does this claim of Muhammad change anything? Absolutely not! Why do we say that?

When prophets of the true God performed miracles they understood the full significance of the miracles that they were empowered to perform. For example, before Moses miraculously turned the Nile River into blood, he informed Pharaoh of the dire consequences this plague would cause Egypt. He told Pharaoh that the fishes in the Nile will die, the Nile will stink, and the Egyptians will be unable to drink water from the Nile. (Exodus 7:15-18) What about Muhammad? Does he have the mental capacity or the spiritual comprehension to really understand the magnitude of the consequences that the earth will experience if the moon is actually split into two? We do not think so. Here are the reasons why.

In harmony with the teachings of the Qur’an, Muhammad believed that the sun actually sets in a muddy pool. (Surah 18:86) Therefore, he would have likewise believed that the moon, just like the sun, is a small ball of light traveling through the night sky. As such, it should not surprise us if Muhammad were to claim that he split the moon into two since he simply could not have fathomed the enormity of his claim. It is possible for Muhammad to make such a bold claim out of sheer ignorance. Our assessment of Muhammad is not without basis. For someone claiming to be a prophet of God, Muhammad was ignorant of many things – both spiritual and physical. Just consider what he believed and taught his followers.

Sunan Abu Dawud, Hadith Number 3991:

Abu Dharr said: I was sitting behind the Apostle of Allah who was riding a donkey while the sun was setting. He asked: Do you know where this sets? I replied: Allah and his Apostle know best. He said: It sets in a spring of warm water.

In part, a well-known Persian proverb states:

He who knows not and knows not that he knows not, he is a fool, shun him.”

This is certainly true of Muhammad. Muhammad knew not that “splitting the moon” would have dire consequences for the planet earth. Muhammad knew not that “splitting the moon” would dangerously affect the stability of the earth. Muhammad knew not that “splitting the moon” would have a deadly impact on the lives of the people on earth. Muhammad also knew not about the gravitational effect of the moon on our planet. If Muhammad really knew all these facts, he would not make such an outrageous claim. That very thought would have frightened him. Not knowing all these facts, it is very possible for Muhammad to make such a bold claim to fool the Meccans. Yet, the very Qur’anic verses that Muslims deceptively use to attribute this miracle to Muhammad testify that the Meccans did not believe him. No sane person will:

Surah 54:1-2: The Hour has come closer, and the moon has split. Then they saw a miracle; but they turned away and said, “Old magic.” (Khalifa)

Let us leave our sanity behind for a moment and assume that Muhammad did miraculously split the moon into two. Is it not ironical that the only miracle which the all-knowing Allah chooses to authenticate the calling of Muhammad is the one that does not convince the unbelievers? Would it not be far more sensible to perform a simple miracle right here on earth instead of performing a miracle some 240,000 miles away? Coming back to reality, only Muslims will believe in this madness.

And this is not the only outrageous claim of Muhammad. He even claimed to have visited Allah on a flying donkey. Seriously! If you find this unbelievable, please click the following link: MUHAMMAD’S FABRICATED NIGHT JOURNEY TO HEAVEN

As we have noted, both the Qur’an and the Hadith testify that the only miracle given to Muhammad was the Qur’an. This means that each time Muslims claim that Muhammad split the moon, they are at the same instant testifying that the Qur’an is false. Muslims cannot have it both ways.

TRUE MIRACLES – WHERE CAN THEY BE FOUND?

Most Muslims are unaware of an amazing verse in the Qur’an which highlights another vital reason as to why Allah did not empower Muhammad to perform miracles. The Qur’an reveals that since there are sufficient miracles in the Holy Bible, Allah found it pointless to empower Muhammad with miracles. This disclosure comes from none other than Allah himself:

Surah 20:133: And they say, “Why does he not bring us a miracle from his Lord?” Were they not given enough miracles in the former Scriptures? (Talal A. Itani)

What can Muslims learn from this verse in the Qur’an? This Qur’anic verse serves as a reminder to Muslims that they are only deceiving themselves with their baseless claim that Muhammad performed miracles. But more importantly, this Qur’anic verse is teaching Muslims not to look for miracles in Muhammad but in the Holy Bible. The following translation of Surah 20:133 highlights some important facts:

They have said, “Why has he, (Muhammad), not brought some miracle from his Lord?” Have they not received the previously revealed heavenly Books as the evidence of the Truth? (Sarwar)

The Qur’an recognizes only three divinely inspired Scriptures by name that were sent to mankind before the arrival of the Qur’an. They are the Torah (Surah 5:44), the Psalms (Surah 4:163) and the Gospel (Surah 5:46). Therefore, the “previously revealed heavenly Books” are none other than the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel. These three Scriptures make up the contents of the Holy Bible.

Let us consider now the circumstances that led to the revelation of Surah 20:133. The unbelievers demanded proof from Muhammad to validate his calling as a true prophet of God. They wanted him to produce some miracles just as the earlier prophets of God had done in the past. They wanted tangible evidences. Of course there were none since Muhammad could not perform any miracles. And Allah came to the defense of Muhammad. But who came to the defense of Allah? Allah had to but appeal to the authority of the Holy Bible to answer their demands for miracles. Allah answered them saying:

Have they not received the previously revealed heavenly Books as the evidence of the Truth?”

Listen carefully to the words of Allah. Allah is saying that the Scriptures of the Bible consisting of the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel are sufficient as “evidence of the Truth. This means that if the contemporaries of Muhammad want to witness real miracles, they have to go to the Holy Bible. The existence of authentic accounts of miracles in the Holy Bible is as good as the manifestation of miracles itself. In other words, the Bible is good as the miracles that the unbelievers were demanding. If the Bible says so, it surely must be. This Qur’anic verse reveals the tremendous authoritative strength of the Holy Bible. Powerless to perform miracles, Allah appealed to the Holy Bible to redeem himself from a humiliating situation.

Since the compilation of the Qur’an was still in progress when the Meccans demanded for miracles, Allah could have easily inspired new Qur’anic verses to answer his critics. But he did not do so. What could he say? The only source available for Allah to answer his critics was “the previously revealed heavenly Books as the evidence of the Truth. As such, these Scriptures that Allah appealed to cannot be a lie. They must be absolutely reliable and free from corruption. The value of appealing to them proves that all these individual Books of the Bible are absolutely trustworthy. If they are not trustworthy, what good is their testimony?

Thus, in contrast to popular Muslim sentiment, the Qur’an not only teaches that the Holy Bible is the uncorrupted Word of God but it also testifies that it will continue to remain as such for all eternity. For an in-depth study on this subject, please click the following link: THE QUR’AN CONFIRMS THE INTEGRITY OF THE BIBLE

Unlike Allah, Jehovah gave no excuses. He performed many powerful miracles through prophets such as Moses and Jesus. The powerful miracles that Jesus performed served its purpose. Christianity spread to the far corners of the earth. While Muhammad called for the sword to propagate Islam, Jesus came with a message of love. He taught his followers this vital principle:

Matthew 26:52: “Those who take the sword will perish by the sword.”

After thirteen years of preaching in Mecca, only about 150 individuals believed in Muhammad. The early inspired messages of Allah in the Qur’an proved ineffective. The only recourse that the miracle-less Muhammad could find to spread his religion was the physical sword. After he migrated to Medina, he garnered the support of the locals there who were men of war. Islam became powerful. Carnal replaced spiritual. The sword of the flesh replaced the sword of the spirit. “Kill them wherever you find them” became the rallying cry of Allah and Muhammad. (Surah 2:191) With neither miracles to authenticate his calling nor spiritual truths to reach the heart of his listeners, the religion of Muhammad survived by inspiring fear through the threat of the Islamic sword.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 22, Number 220:

Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been made victories with terror.”

Muhammad was no miracle worker but the first Muslim terrorist. Jehovah and Allah, Jesus and Muhammad, Christianity and Islam, Bible and Qur’an, Miracle and Miracle-less are opposites. Muslims must decide now between these two opposites if they really value their eternal salvation.

The enemy got at the Apostle who was hit with a stone so that he fell on his side and one of his teeth was smashed, his face scored, and his lip injured.”

Tabari VII: 124:

Abd Manat came and threw a stone at Muhammad, breaking his nose and his lateral incisor, splitting his face open, and stunning him. His Companions dispersed and abandoned him, some of them going to Medina and some climbing up Uhud and standing there. The Messenger cried out to his men, ‘To me. To me.’”

Abu al-Aswad reported that ‘Imran b Husain asked him: What is your view, what the people do today in the world, and strive for, is it something decreed for them or preordained for them or will their fate in the Hereafter be determined by the fact that their Prophets brought them teaching which they did not act upon? I said: Of course, it is something which is predetermined for them and preordained for them. He further said: Then, would it not be an injustice to punish them? I felt greatly disturbed because of that, and said: Everything is created by Allah and lies in His Power. He would not be questioned as to what He does, but they would be questioned; thereupon he said to me: May Allah have mercy upon you, I did not mean to ask you but for testing your intelligence.

Two men of the tribe of Muzaina came to Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) and said: Allah’s Messenger, what is your opinion that the people do in the world and strive for, is something decreed for them; something preordained for them and will their fate in the Hereafter be determined by the fact that their Prophets brought them teachings which they did not act upon. And thus they became deserving of punishment? Thereupon, he said: Of course, it happens as it is decreed by Destiny and preordained for them, and this view is confirmed by this verse of the Book of Allah, the Exalted and Glorious: “Consider the soul and Him Who made it perfect, then breathed into it its sin and its piety” (Surah 91:8 in Original Arabic).

Lord, a clot, Lord, a piece of flesh.” And then, if Allah wishes to complete the child’s creation, the angel will say. Lord, male or a female? Lord, wretched or blessed in religion? What will his livelihood be? What will his age be?” The angel writes all this while the child is in the womb of its mother.’”

While we were in a funeral procession, Allah’s Apostle said, ‘Every created soul has his place written for him either in Paradise or in Hell. They have a happy or miserable fate predestined for them.’ A man said, ‘Apostle! Shall we depend upon what is written and give up doing deeds? For whoever is destined to be fortunate, will join the fortunate and whoever is destined to be miserable will go to Hell.’”

THE TRAGEDY OF MUSLIMS

THE TRAGEDY OF MUSLIMS

Muslims are the primary victims of Islam. However, the vast majority of Muslims fail to recognize this essential truth. This is the tragedy of Muslims. If you are a Muslim, we earnestly encourage you to read this article carefully. Devoting your time to examine this article may be one of your most vital investments in your life. Our objective is to sincerely alert Muslims of the tragic consequences that await all those who submit to Islam. Our call for concern has to do with your salvation. It is our genuine desire to prevent Muslims from becoming victims of a serious tragedy regarding their eternal salvation. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones to know the truth about Islam. You can avert this tragedy. It all depends very much on your response to the facts provided here. If for some reason you are skeptical about what we have just stated here, please read the rest of the article to prove us wrong.

Islam stands and falls on the person of Muhammad. The validity of Islam is very much dependent on the reliability of Muhammad. Therefore, we will start with Muhammad. Muslims strongly believe that Muhammad was a descendant of Ishmael. However, it may surprise them to learn that nowhere in the Qur’an does it say that Ishmael was the predecessor of the Arabic race. Neither does the Qur’an claim that Ishmael was a forefather of Muhammad. The Qur’anic evidences go against any ties of lineage between Ishmael and Muhammad. In fact, there is no correlation whatsoever between Ishmael and Muhammad. What is vital for Muslims to understand is the fact that their claim Muhammad was a descendant of Ishmael contradicts the teachings of the Qur’an. It is crucial for Muslims to learn the truth on this matter if they really value their eternal salvation. Read on to find out why we say this.

In order to determine whether Muhammad was a descendant of Ishmael or not, it is absolutely essential to consider four vital facts which the Qur’an reveals on this matter. A comprehensive study of these four vital facts is absolutely a must to establish the truth. The truth about Muhammad will be established in this article. Consider now the evidences from the sources of Islam itself.

FACT NUMBER ONE

The Qur’an clearly testifies that no Messengers or Prophets were ever sent to the Arabs before the time of Muhammad:

Surah 28:46-47: Nor were you present on the side of Mount Sinai when We called out to Moses. But you too have been sent as an act of grace from your Lord, to give warning to a people to whom no Warner has come before, so that they may take heed and may not say, if a disaster should befall them as a result of what they have done with their own hands, ‘Lord, if only You had sent us a messenger, we might have followed Your message and become believers.’ (Abdel Haleem)

Surah 32:3: Or do they say, “He (Muhammad) has invented it?” Nay! It is the truth from your Lord that you may warn a people to whom no Warner has come before you, that they may follow the right direction. (H. S. Aziz)

Surah 34:44: And We have not given them (Arabs) any Books (Scripture) which they read, nor did We send to them before you a Warner. (H. S. Aziz)

Surah 36:2-6: I call to witness the Qur’an, custodian of all laws, That you are indeed one of those sent on a path that is straight, A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful God, That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. (H. S. Aziz)

FACT NUMBER TWO

Yet at the same instance, the Qur’an testifies that Ishmael was both a Messenger and a Prophet of Allah:

Surah 19:54: And remember Ishmael in the Book. Truly, he had been one who is sincere in his promise, and he had been a Messenger, a Prophet. (Laleh Bakhtiar)

FACT NUMBER THREE

The Qur’an repeatedly testifies that the Arabs – the forefathers of Muhammad – never received any Scriptures of Allah before the time of Muhammad:

Surah 6:157: Or lest ye should say: If the Scripture had been revealed unto us, we surely had been better guided than are they. Now hath there come unto you a clear proof from your Lord, a guidance and a mercy. (Pickthall)

Surah 11:49: This is of the tidings of the Unseen which We inspire in thee (Muhammad). Thou thyself knewest it not, nor did thy folk know it before this. Then have patience. Lo! The sequel is for those who ward off (evil). (Pickthall)

Surah 34:44: And We have not given them (Arabs) any Books (Scripture) which they read, nor did We send to them before you a Warner. (H. S. Aziz)

Surah 62:2: He it is who has sent a Messenger among those who had never before received a Scripture – to convey unto them His Messages. (Shabbir Ahmed)

FACT NUMBER FOUR

On the other hand, the Qur’an clearly states that Ishmael was given the Scriptures of Allah:

Surah 6:86-89: And Ishmael and Elisha and Jonah and Lot… These are they unto whom We gave the Scripture and command and prophethood. (Pickthall)

Surah 4:163: We have sent revelations to you as We sent revelations to Noah and the prophets who came after him; and We sent revelations to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob, and their offspring, and to Jesus and Job, and to Jonah and Aaron and Solomon, and to David We gave the Book of Psalms. (Ahmed Ali)

Surah 3:84: Say (O Muhammad): We believe in Allah and that which is revealed unto us and that which was revealed unto Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob. (Pickthall)

In addition to the above facts, the Qur’an also provides another vital piece of information that is equally important in our discussion. The Qur’an admits that prior to the time of Muhammad only two groups of people – the Jews and the Christians – received the Scriptures of Allah. No other national groups are named in the Qur’an as ever receiving the Scriptures of Allah. It is essential for Muslims to remember this vital fact that is taught in the Qur’an:

Surah 6:155-156: And this (Qur’an) is a Book which We have revealed full of blessings. So now follow it and fear Allah persistently so that you are shown mercy. The Qur’an has been revealed lest you should say: ‘The heavenly Book was only sent down before us to the two communities (the Jews and the Christians), and undoubtedly, we were unaware of their reading and teaching.’ (Mohammad Tahir-ul-Qadri)

Substantiating this fact even further, the Qur’an recognizes only three Books by name as the revealed Books of Allah before the time of Islam. These three Books are the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel. That is why only the Jews and the Christians are recognized as the “People of the Scripture” or as the “People of the Book” in the Qur’an. Not even the Muslims are recognized as such.

Surah 5:68: Say (O Muhammad) “O People of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! You have nothing as regards till you act according to the Torah and the Gospel. (Hilali-Khan)

Therefore, the Scripture which the Qur’an claims that was given to Ishmael cannot be for the guidance of the Arabs. This fact is supported by numerous Qur’anic verses which state clearly that the Arabs were not given any Scriptures before the time of Muhammad. The Arabic Qur’an which was revealed at the time of Muhammad is the only Scripture that was given to the Arabs. Prior to this they had none:

Surah 32:3: Or say they: “He (Muhammad) has fabricated it?” Nay, it is the truth from your Lord, that you may warn a people to whom no Warner has come before you (O Muhammad), in order that they may be guided. (Hilali-Khan)

All the above facts are based not on any external sources. They are all based on the Qur’an – the primary source of Islam. What essential truth can Muslims learn when we piece all these vital facts together? The following segment will answer this question.

THE MUSLIM DILEMMA

The above verses of the Qur’anic clearly state that no Scriptures were given to the ancestors of Muhammad. Yet at the same instance, the Qur’an reveals that the Prophet Ishmael was given the Scriptures of Allah. Logically, if the Prophet Ishmael was truly an ancestor of Muhammad, then this would mean that the ancestors of Muhammad had already received the Scriptures of Allah before the time of Muhammad. Thus, for the Qur’an to be true, the Prophet Ishmael simply cannot be an ancestor of Muhammad as claimed by the Muslims. How are Muslims going to reconcile the claim in the Qur’an that no Scriptures were given to the ancestors of Muhammad with the verses which state that the Prophet Ishmael was given the Scriptures of Allah if the Prophet Ishmael was truly an ancestor of Muhammad? With no Scriptures to prove the lineage between the Prophet Ishmael and Muhammad, how can Muslims then assume that Muhammad was a descendant of the Prophet Ishmael?

Furthermore, besides stating that no Scriptures were ever given to the ancestors of Muhammad, the Qur’an also states that neither were any Prophets sent to them. Yet, the Qur’an clearly testifies that Ishmael was a Prophet of Allah. If the Prophet Ishmael was truly an ancestor of Muhammad, this would then mean that a Prophet of Allah was already living amidst the ancestors of Muhammad. Thus, it would be a gross error for the Qur’an to state that no Prophets were sent to the ancestors of Muhammad who were Arabs. However, since the Qur’an states positively that no Prophets were sent to the ancestors of Muhammad, this proves that the Prophet Ishmael could not have lived or set foot in Arabia as Muslims claims. The only option that now remains for Muslims to accept the Qur’an as true is to acknowledge the fact that Muhammad simply cannot be a descendant of the Prophet Ishmael. Muslims who challenge or deny this fact will be proving the Qur’an false.

Al-Tabari, the renowned Muslim scholar and historian recognizes the fact that Hagar, the mother of Ishmael, was an Egyptian. (Al-Tabari, The History of al-Tabari, Vol. II, Prophets and Patriarchs, translation from Arabic by William M. Brenner, pp. 62-63) Abraham, the father of Ishmael was not an Arab. And neither was his mother. Can a father who is a Hebrew and a mother who is an Egyptian produce an Arab son? Therefore, Ishmael cannot be an Arab. And to further distant this claim by Muslims, the wife of Ishmael was an Egyptian. (Genesis 21:20-21) As such, Muhammad cannot be a direct descendant of Ishmael. In the Bible, the Prophet Abraham is clearly identified as a Hebrew:

Genesis 14:13: After that a man who had escaped came and told Abram the Hebrew.

Abraham was known as Abram until God changed his name to Abraham. (Genesis 17:5) And the Bible clearly states that Abraham was a Hebrew. According to the Jewish Encyclopedia the terms “Hebrews” and “Israelites” describe the same people. It explains that they were called Hebrews before the conquest of the Land of Canaan and subsequently they were called Israelites after the conquest. If the Hebrews were Arabs then they would not be Hebrews would they? Since Ishmael was the first-born son of Abraham, he simply cannot be someone other than a Hebrew like his father. Muhammad has to be a Hebrew in order for Muslims to claim he was a descendant of Ishmael.

Indicating their nomadic lifestyle, the Qur’an refers to the Arabs as the “wandering Arabs” in Surah 33:20. And the Qur’an also identifies them as “Quraish” in Surah 106:1. But the Arabs were never identified, even once, as the “Children of Ishmael” or as the “Children of Abraham.” In fact, it is the style of the Qur’an to draw clear connections of lineage if at all there exists one. You will surprised at the number of times the term “Children of Israel” (Arabic: Bani Israel) is mentioned in the Qur’an with reference to the Israelites. However, there is no “Bani Ishmael” in the Qur’an with reference to the Arabs. This is truly an important observation which Muslims must not fail to take into consideration. The Muslim argument that Muhammad was a descendant of Ishmael is not based on any historical evidences. Today anyone can claim that he is a descendant of Noah and he is technically right.

THE QUR’AN DISQUALIFIES THE PROPHETHOOD OF MUHAMMAD

Even if Muslims ignore all these evidences and presumptuously insist that Muhammad was a direct descendant of Ishmael, it still does not change the fact that Muhammad does not qualify as a true prophet of God. Why do we say that? It is because the Qur’an itself disqualifies him as a prophet of the true God. After addressing the Prophet Abraham, Allah clearly testified in the Qur’an that the “Prophethood” will thereafter continue through the lineage of Isaac and Jacob – not Ishmael. In view of its importance, two different translations of Surah 29:27 are provided below:

And (as for Abraham), We bestowed upon him Isaac and (Isaac’s son) Jacob, and caused Prophethood and Revelation to continue among his offspring. (Asad)

And We bestowed on him Isaac and Jacob, and We established the Prophethood and the Scripture among his seed. (Pickthall)

It is vital for Muslims to note the fact that with the inauguration of the “Prophethood” with Abraham, Surah 29:27 goes on to state that the Prophethood will thereafter continue through the lineage of Isaac and Jacob. Therefore, the Prophethood will be established uniquely through the seeds of Isaac and Jacob. In other words, the office of the Prophethood would be entrusted only to Isaac, Jacob and their descendants. This means that anyone claiming to be a Prophet of the true God must be born in the “Prophetic Race.” They must be born in the lineage of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

If Allah intended to include Ishmael, his name would be placed before Isaac as he was older than Isaac by about fourteen years. But as it can be noted, Surah 29:27 completely omits any reference to Ishmael. This raises some vital questions:

Why was the name of Ishmael left out completely at the most significant time when the lineage of the Prophethood was revealed in the Qur’an?

Why was Ishmael totally ignored if he was as important as Muslims claim him to be?

Thus, the Qur’an itself teaches that the Prophethood will be established exclusively through the lineage of Isaac – not Ishmael. Muslims have to choose between the Qur’an and Muhammad. If Muhammad was truly a prophet of God then the Qur’an is false. If the Qur’an is true, then Muhammad simply cannot be a prophet of the true God. THE QUR’AN DISQUALIFIES THE PROPHETHOOD OF MUHAMMAD

SURAH 3:81 – AN INDISPUTABLE ERROR IN THE QUR’AN

We will now move on to discuss the primary purpose of this article. This is where the tragedy of the Muslims begins. This is where the issue of salvation comes to the fore. This is where Muslims must decide regarding the outcome of their eternal salvation.

DID ABRAHAM AND ISHMAEL BUILD THE KA’BA?

The Qur’an claims that the Prophet Abraham and the Prophet Ishmael built the sacred House of Allah:

Surah 2:125-127: We made the House a resort and a sanctuary for people, saying, ‘Take the spot where Abraham stood as your place of prayer.’ We commanded Abraham and Ishmael: ‘Purify My House for those who walk round it, those who stay there, and those who bow and prostrate themselves in worship.’ Abraham said, ‘My Lord, make this land secure and provide with produce those of its people who believe in God and the Last Day.’ God said, ‘As for those who disbelieve, I will grant them enjoyment for a short while and then subject them to the torment of the Fire – an evil destination.’ As Abraham and Ishmael built up the foundations of the House they prayed, ‘Our Lord, accept this from us. You are the All Hearing, the All Knowing. (Abdel Haleem)

Although the location of the House of Allah is not stated in the above or any other verses of the Qur’an, all Muslims without exception believe that it refers to the Ka’ba in Mecca. Some Muslim translators of the Qur’an boldly took the liberty to edit the Scriptures of Allah by inserting the word “Mecca” in parenthesis even though it does not appear in the original Arabic Qur’an. How could the Prophet Abraham and the Prophet Ishmael build the Ka’ba in Mecca when the Qur’an clearly states that no Prophets were ever sent to the Arabs before the time of Muhammad? Since Muslims insist that the Prophet Abraham and the Prophet Ishmael built the Ka’ba in Mecca, then this assumption comes at a great cost to the Muslims. Muslims have to now accept that either there is a serious contradiction in the Qur’an or the Prophet Abraham and the Prophet Ishmael could not have built the Ka’ba in Mecca.

As we have noted, numerous Qur’anic verses clearly testify that no Prophets were sent to the Arabs prior to the time of Muhammad. This simply means that the Prophet Abraham and the Prophet Ishmael could not have set foot in Arabia. Therefore, it is obvious that they could not have built the Ka’ba. Since the Ka’ba was already in existence before the time of Muhammad and since no Prophets of the true God were ever sent to the Arabs before the time of Muhammad, it leads us to one very obvious conclusion. Only the local pagan Arabs could have built the Ka’ba. Only they could have laid the foundation of the Ka’ba. That the Ka’ba was indeed a pagan shrine before the coming of Islam is confirmed in numerous authentic sources of Islam itself.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 3, Book 43, Number 658:

Narrated ‘Abdullah bin Masud: The Prophet entered Mecca and (at that time) there were three hundred-and-sixty idols around the Ka’ba. He started stabbing the idols with a stick he had in his hand and reciting: “Truth (Islam) has come and Falsehood (disbelief) has vanished.”

When Muhammad conquered Mecca, he destroyed all the idols of the Ka’ba with the exception of the preeminent idol – the Black Stone. The Ka’ba which is known as “Baitullah” in Arabic means “House of Allah.” Muslims will do well to seriously consider the following thought provoking questions:

If the Ka’ba which was supposedly built by the Prophet Abraham and the Prophet Ishmael was originally the House of Allah, how did it become a Pagan Temple housing 360 idols? How could a House of God turn into a Temple of Idols?

Exactly when did Allah allow this change to take place?

How did the most sacred place for the Worship of Allah become a place for the Worship of Idols? How is it possible for this corruption to occur in the first place?

Why was Allah powerless to prevent his most sacred shrine from becoming contaminated with the idolatrous worship of demons?

What theological reason is there for Allah to allow his original House of Worship to become a Pagan Temple?

The late Dr. Taha Husayn, a prominent professor at Cairo University, recognized the fact that the message of the Qur’an regarding the construction of the Ka’ba at the hands of Abraham and Ishmael is historically untenable. And he gave the following reason as to why it is not possible:

The case of this episode is very obvious because it is of recent date and came into vogue just before the rise of Islam. Islam exploited it for religious reasons” (Quoted in Mizan al-Islam by Anwar al-Jundi, p. 170).

In other words, the Ka’ba did not and could not have existed at the time of Abraham.

IDOLATRY IN ISLAM

Islam retained many of the rites and rituals that had been prevalent in the Arabian Peninsula. While Muhammad destroyed the rest of the idols at the conquest of Mecca, he left the Black Stone untouched. Why? It was simply because of his deep-rooted reverence for the Black Stone brought on by years of submission to the pagan practice of stone worship.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 5, Book 59, Number 661:

Narrated by Abu Raja Al-Utaridi: We used to worship stones, and when we found a better stone than the first one, we would throw the first one and take the latter, but if we could not get a stone then we would collect some earth (i.e. soil) and then bring a sheep and milk that sheep over it, and perform the Tawaf (circumnavigation) around it.

Today Muslims perform the Tawaf (circumnavigation) around the Black Stone. Muhammad not only left the Black Stone untouched to represent Islam but he was also deeply attached to it emotionally.

Sahih Muslim, Book 007, Number 2916:

Suwaid b. Ghafala reported: I saw Umar (Allah be pleased with him) kissing the Stone and clinging to it and saying: I saw Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) having great love for you. This Hadith has been narrated on the authority of Sufyin with the same chain of transmitters (and the words are): “That he (‘Umar) said: But I saw Abu’l-Qasim (way peace be upon him) having great love for you.”

Muhammad is known as Abu’l-Qasim to his Companions. Some believe that this was Muhammad’s original name.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 26, Number 675:

Narrated by Zaid bin Aslam: From his father who said: “Umar bin Al-Khattab addressed the Corner (Black Stone) saying, ‘By Allah! I know that you are a stone and can neither benefit nor harm. Had I not seen the Prophet touching and kissing you, I would never have touched and kissed you.’ Then he kissed it.”

The single most important reason in Islam for the kissing of the Black Stone is that Muhammad did it. He thereby set the example for Muslims to follow. The Black Stone which was sacred to the Pagans became sacred to the Muslims. The Black Stone which was venerated by the Pagans became the focal point of the Muslim pilgrimage. The Black Stone which had been an object of worship before the time of Muhammad became the central shrine of Islam. Muslims today touch and kiss the Black Stone with reverence during the Hajj. The kiss that the pious Muslims bestow on the Black Stone is a survival of an age old pagan practice that was common in ancient Arabia. Muslims are kissing the same Black Stone which the Pagans were kissing before.

In his book, “The Life of Muhammad,” the Egyptian writer, Muhammad Husayn Haykal, whose works are based on the scholarly manuscripts of Ibn Hisham, acknowledged the following facts regarding the worship of the Black Stone:

In fact, the Arabs venerated these stones so much that not only did they worship the Black Stone in the Ka’bah, but also they would take one of the stones of the Ka’bah as a holy object in their travels, praying to it and asking it to bless every move they made. (p. 30)

Here we find another prominent Muslim scholar who candidly testifies that the Black Stone was indeed worshipped by the Pagans before the coming of Islam. The fact that many of the rituals performed during the Hajj are connected to pagan worship shows that Islam was conceived in idolatry. Such practices are consistent with pre-Islamic pagan rituals involving the Ka’ba. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob would never send a Black Stone for his worshippers to submit to idolatry. If the true God forbids even the bowing towards the glorious sun that he himself had created, do you think he will command his worshippers to bow towards a dead Black Stone? While Christians clearly see this as absolute idolatry, Islam is blind to this abomination. The Holy Bible clearly states:

Deuteronomy 4:19: “You must not raise your eyes to the heavens and indeed see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the army of the heavens, and actually get seduced and bow down to them.”

Of course, Muslims will strongly deny that they are actually engaging in idolatrous worship when they kiss or bow towards the Black Stone whenever they pray. And they will insist that their prayers are directed towards Allah alone. However, in actual practice, Muslims treat the Black Stone with the same reverence as the Pagans do towards their idols. The denial of the idolatrous nature of the reverence that Muslims display towards the Black Stone can be likened to that of a man who claims innocence for his adulterous affair by saying that he was only thinking of his wife while committing the illicit immoral act. Adultery is adultery. And idolatry is idolatry. The justification for the veneration of a dead stone, especially to the extent of bowing down and kissing it, can only be identified with the primitive pagan practice of idolatry than with the true spirit of monotheistic worship. It is idolatry–pure and simple. All Muslims are idolaters.

In fact, honest Muslim scholars acknowledge that the act of kissing the Black Stone by Muslims is an expression of worship. Sheikh Sha’rawi, one of Egypt’s renowned scholars admitted that the practice of kissing the Black Stone by Muslims is an expression of worship:

The kissing of the meteorite is a firm practice in Islamic law because Muhammad did it. You must not ask about the wisdom behind that because this rite is an expression of worship in spite of the obscurity of its wisdom.” (Sheikh Sha’rawi, Legal Opinions, pt. 3, p. 167, Muslim)

Additionally, Muhammad stated that on the Day of Judgment the Black Stone will testify favorably on behalf of all those who touched it with sincerity. The Prophet of Islam also taught that the sins of those who touched the Black Stone would be forgiven on Judgment Day. If ascribing the role of a Mediator and the role of Savior to a mere stone is not idolatry, then what is it?

Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 961; Ibn Maajah, 2944:

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said concerning the Stone: “By Allah, Allah will bring it forth on the Day of Resurrection, and it will have two eyes with which it will see and a tongue with which it will speak, and it will testify in favour of those who touched it in sincerity.”

Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 959:

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) says: “Touching them both (the Black Stone and al-Rukn al-Yamani) is an expiation for sins.”

Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 877, Ahmad, 2792:

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “When the Black Stone came down from Paradise, it was whiter than milk, but the sins of the sons of Adam made it black.”

Thus, it is dishonest to say that the Black Stone is just a focal point for Muslims to direct their prayers for the sake of unity. In reality, it means much more than Muslims are willing to admit. Is it not idolatrous to believe that the sins of the Muslims can be forgiven simply by touching a mere stone? Muslims strongly reject the atoning value of the ransom sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Ironically, these very same Muslims believe that a dead stone can achieve the very objective that they deny Jesus could accomplish.

All Muslims are required to bow towards the Black Stone every day, whenever they pray. They are forbidden to face any other object or direction. For Muslims to face any other direction is a violation of the commandment of Allah in the Qur’an. The commandment of Allah clearly states:

Surah 2:144: Turn then Thy face in the direction of the sacred Mosque: Wherever ye are, turn your faces in that direction.”

According to the Qur’an, Muslims cannot pray to Allah without facing the Black Stone. When a Muslim makes the Hajj, or runs between the hills, or bestows a kiss on the Black Stone, he is performing the rituals of the Pagans. And these rituals are deeply rooted in pagan superstition. And Muhammad sanctioned and incorporated these pagan practices into Islam. Thus, the poison remains the same, only the labels were deceitfully changed by Allah. Consequently, paganism became an integral part of Islam. Consider now the following additional evidence:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 60, Number 23:

Narrated By ‘Asim bin Sulaiman: I asked Anas bin Malik about Safa and Marwa (i.e. two mountains at Mecca). Anas replied, “We used to consider (i.e. going around) them a custom of the Pre-Islamic period of Ignorance, so when Islam came, we gave up going around them. Then Allah revealed, ‘Verily, Safa and Marwa (i.e. two mountains at Mecca) are among the Symbols of Allah. So it is not harmful of those who perform the Hajj of the House of Allah or perform the Umra to ambulate (Tawaf) between them.’” (Surah 2:158)

Provided below is the Qur’anic verse which is cited in the above Hadith:

Surah 2:158: “Lo! (The mountains) As-Safa and Al-Marwah are among the indications of Allah. It is therefore no sin for him who is on pilgrimage to the House of Allah or visiteth it, to go around them as the pagan custom is. (Pickthall)

How can the very same mountains that were sacred to the Pagans suddenly become the “Symbols of Allah” after the Muslim conquest of Mecca? Moreover, how is it that the very same pagan ritual of running between the two hills is also retained in Islam? Islam is the only religion where after kissing a stone, its devotees pick up stones to stone a stone representing the Devil. There are far too many similarities between Islam and paganism for sincere Muslims to ignore.

Jehovah, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob would never incorporate the pagan practices of the nations into his divine arrangement for pure worship. He would never sanction the pagan practices of the nations to become an integral part of the sacred services of his worshippers:

2 Corinthians 6:14-17: Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship do righteousness and lawlessness have? Or what sharing does light have with darkness. Further, what harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what portion does a faithful person have with an unbeliever? And what agreement does God’s temple have with idols? For we are a temple of a living God. Just as God said: “I shall reside among them and walk among them, and I shall be their God, and they will be my people.” “Therefore get out from among them and separate yourselves. Quit touching the unclean thing and I will take you in,” says Jehovah.

Centuries before the arrival of Islam, Jehovah God lovingly warned the Israelites of a subtle snare of Satan which Islam failed to avoid. Regarding this devious snare of Satan, the Holy Bible warned the descendants of Abraham to shun the evil practice of idolatry in all its various forms:

Leviticus 26:1: “Do not make for yourselves worthless idols. You must not erect for yourselves a carved statue or a sacred pillar and you must not put a stone as a sacred showpiece in your land to bow down toward it. I am Jehovah your God.”

Can any warning be clearer than this? Either it is acceptable to bow towards a stone or it is not. Both cannot be true. This is a very serious matter because it demonstrates that either Allah or Jehovah is the true God. Not both! The eternal salvation of every single Muslim lies in the hands of only one of them.

Think carefully! Will the true God encourage his worshippers to continue in the same sin of idolatry of the Pagans? Avoiding the idolatrous practices of Islam is an essential first step towards true worship. However, leaving false worship is only part of the solution. For a full recovery, false worship should be replaced with true worship. That is why it is vital not only to shun idolatry:

1 Corinthians 6:9-11: Do you not know that unrighteous people will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Do not be misled. Those who are sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, men who submit to homosexual acts, men who practice homosexuality, thieves, greedy people, drunkards, revilers, and extortioners will not inherit God’s Kingdom.

But also to earnestly search for the true God:

Isaiah 55:6: Search for Jehovah while he may be found. Call to him while he is near.

Taking this decisive step will save you from the Tragedy of Islam.

DOES ALLAH FORGIVE SINS?

DOES ALLAH FORGIVE SINS?

In a word, the answer to this question is an absolute NO. What will be proven in this article is the shocking reality that Allah does not forgive sins–not even a single sin. We will provide multiple evidences from Islamic sources themselves to prove why there is absolutely no forgiveness in Islam. If you find this unbelievable, we sincerely encourage you to read this article carefully. Please examine the facts before you dismiss the above allegation as inaccurate. It is crucial for Muslims to analyze the information provided here. Your eternal salvation depends very much on how you respond to the vital truth revealed here on the subject of forgiveness of sins in Islam. This article is about you. Does Allah really forgive you? We invite Muslims to challenge the evidences presented here.

However, this article is equally important to Christians who desire to share the Gospel with Muslims. What better way could there be than to discuss the subject of God’s forgiveness with Muslims? Today Muslims are migrating to the West in large numbers. Many come from countries where the preaching of the Gospel is strictly forbidden. God has now opened a wide door of activity for Christians to preach the Good News of God’s Kingdom to Muslims in their own home ground.

The term “Forgive” is one of the most endearing words in the relationship between two parties. While it basically means to pardon or to cancel a debt, it goes far beyond that. It is an assurance of love. When we sin against our Creator, we seek his forgiveness in order to restore our relationship with him. Forgiveness is not granted because the wrongdoer is qualified or entitled to be forgiven but rather, it is an act of love, mercy, and grace on the part of God.

IS THERE FORGIVENESS OF SINS IN ISLAM?

According to the teachings of the Qur’an, two angels are appointed for each individual by Allah. The function of these angels is to record the deeds of every individual during his or her lifetime on earth. The Qur’an refers to these angels as “Kiraman Katibin” which means “Honorable Recorders” or “Honorable Scribes.”

Surah 82:10-12: “But you should know that there are angelic guards watching over you and these honorable scribes know whatever you do.” (Sarwar)

These angels “know whatever you do.” They do not leave out any details. According to the Hadith, these angels are positioned on the shoulders, with one sitting on the left and one on the right, of the person whom they are assigned to accompany constantly. Thus, they are able to accurately record all the deeds of that individual. The following Qur’anic verses confirms this teaching in Islam:

Surah 50:17-18: “And the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: each word he utters shall be noted down by a vigilant guardian.” (W. Khan)

The good deeds are recorded by the angel on the right while the bad are recorded by the angel on the left. What is important to note is how these written records affect the individual Muslim on “Judgment Day.” On “Judgment Day” the angels will present to Allah the complete written records of every individual from the beginning of mankind’s creation. The eternal destiny of each person is decided upon by Allah on the basis of the records provided by the angels. Therefore, an individual’s destiny will be based on the deeds committed during his or her lifetime on earth. If the good deeds exceed the bad, then that individual will enter Paradise. Conversely, those whose bad deeds exceed the good will be punished for eternity in the Islamic Hell.

THE SCALES OF ALLAH

One of the greatest fears of every Muslim is how the “Scales of Allah” will tilt for him or her on the “Day of Judgment.” Depending on the outcome, the “Scales of Allah” will determine either the eternal preservation or the eternal damnation of every single Muslim:

Surah 21:47: And We set the scales even in Day of Judgment admitting of no deviation and We judge with absolute justice and accordingly no soul shall ever be wronged in the least. Every deed, good or bad, will We present with precision even if it be as light or as little as a mustard seed. Enough are We in putting the law in execution. (Al-Muntakhab)

The Qur’an clearly teaches that Allah will weigh “every deed, good or bad” on the “Day of Judgment.” The fact that Allah could weigh “every deed, good or bad” committed by Muslims during their lifetime proves that Allah has not forgotten or forgiven their sins. Since the purpose for keeping a detailed record of the sins of an individual is to render judgment, it shows that the sins of the Muslims are neither forgiven nor forgotten by Allah. Even the sins of pious Muslims are not exempted.

The “Scales of Allah” is known as “Mizan” in Islamic terminology. It determines the eternal destiny of every individual. No sins will be exempted. Even sins for which the sinner has truly repented will be evoked on the “Day of Judgment” and placed on the “Scales of Allah.” This means that in reality the sinner is not forgiven. The salvation of the sinner depends very much now on the weight of his good deeds. Yes, even sins “as little as a mustard seed” will not be forgiven but will be taken into account by Allah on the “Day of Judgment.” Please read the following Qur’anic verses carefully:

Surah 101:6-11: As for him whose scales are heavy, He will have a pleasant life. But as for him whose scales are light, Hell will be a nursing mother to him. And what should make you know what that is? It is a blazing Fire. (Sher Ali)

It is vital for Muslims to recognize the truth that Allah does not forgive sins. The fact that every single sin committed by a Muslim has a bearing on the outcome of his destiny in the hereafter proves that Allah has neither forgotten nor forgiven his sins. The only option left for Muslims is to earnestly hope that his good deeds outweigh the bad ones. This is further confirmed in the following Qur’anic verses:

Surah 7:8-9: On that Day the weighing of deeds will be true and just: As for those whose good deeds are heavy on the scales will be the ones to prosper, and those whose good deeds are light will be the ones who have lost their souls through their wrongful rejection of Our messages. (Abdel Haleem)

A Muslim has to have at least a minimum of 51% of good deeds in his favor to enter Paradise. Conversely, if his bad deeds were to exceed by just a minute fraction, he will spend eternity in the Islamic Hell. You need to be a mathematician to be a Muslim. With no true forgiveness, the only option for a Muslim to prevail over Allah’s adverse judgment is through his own personal effort–through the doing of good deeds. And the good deeds must exceed his bad deeds. In view of the sinful nature of mankind, honest Muslims will readily agree that this is no easy task to accomplish. In describing Allah’s final judgment of mankind, the Qur’an states the following:

Surah 99:6-8: That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant) shall see it. And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom or a small ant shall see it. (Hilali-Khan)

Do the above Qur’anic verses give you the impression that Allah readily forgives those who sincerely seek his forgiveness? Can any Muslim confidently say that he is assured of his salvation? How can he when Muhammad himself is uncertain about his own salvation? Read the confession of Muhammad:

Surah 46:9: “Say: I am no new thing among the messengers of Allah, nor know I what will be done with me or with you. I do but follow that which is inspired in me, and I am but a plain warner.” (Pickthall)

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 5, Book 58, Number 266:

Narrated ‘Um al-‘Ala: “Uthman fell ill and I nursed him till he died, and we covered him with his clothes. Then the Prophet came to us and I (addressing the dead body) said, “O Abu As-Sa’ib, may Allah’s Mercy be on you! I bear witness that Allah has honored you.” On that the Prophet said, “How do you know that Allah has honored him?” I replied, “I do not know. May my father and my mother be sacrificed for you, O Allah’s Apostle! But who else is worthy of it (if not Uthman)?” He said, “As to him, by Allah, death has overtaken him, and I hope the best for him. By Allah, though I am the Apostle of Allah, yet I do not know what Allah will do to me.”

While speaking in the context of life in the hereafter, Muhammad confessed to the uncertainty of his final destination in the hereafter. He admits that he is unaware as to whether Allah will send him to Paradise or to Hell. Before we proceed, it is vital to note that the concept of weighing the good deeds against the bad can easily be subjected to abuse. For example, a Muslim can simply commit a sin and cleverly offset it by performing some good deeds. Would not this be a mockery of divine justice? Would not this give Muslims a license to commit sins? And this is exactly what Muhammad taught his followers to do.

40 Hadiths of Imam Nawawi, Hadith Number 18:

Follow Up a Bad Deed with a Good Deed

Abû Dharr al-Ghifârî and Mu`âdh b, Jabal relates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Fear Allah wherever you are. Follow up a bad deed with a good deed and it will blot it out. And deal with people in a good manner.” (Sunan al-Tirmidhî)

Muslims love this Hadith. This loophole in the teachings of Islam serves as an inducement for Muslims to sin. However, in spite of this leverage to sin, the early Companions of Muhammad who had firsthand knowledge of Islam were suspicious of Allah. What should trouble Muslims even more is the fact that this distrust of Allah was evident even among the Caliphs, the very Guardians of the Islamic Faith.

Successors of the Messenger” by Khalid Muhammad Khalid, p. 70:

Caliph Abu-Bakr Al-Sadik said: “I have no trust concerning Allah’s schemes, even if one of my feet is inside of paradise who can determine which deed is acceptable and which is not. You do all what you can do, and the accountability is with Allah.  You ask him for acceptance.”

Abu Bakr was the first Caliph of Islam and a close Companion of Muhammad. He was the Guardian of the Islamic Faith and designated as the “Rightly Guided Caliph” (Rashidun). For the first Caliph of Islam to manifest such great distrust in Allah shows that there must be something about Allah that makes him untrustworthy. More importantly, this account also reveals the uncertainty of salvation in Islam. Imagine, the very Guardian of the Islamic Faith does not know which deeds are acceptable and which are not by Allah. There is always a catch in Islam. While good deeds count, it still depends on Allah to make it count. For the worshippers of Jehovah, they experience no such fear regarding their salvation.

Isaiah 12:2: God is my salvation. I will trust and not be afraid. For Jehovah, even Jehovah is my strength and my might, and he became my salvation.”

If Muslims desire to attain salvation, they must turn to Jehovah–the God of Salvation.

THE DESTINATION OF HELL-FIRE

Of course, Muslims will deny everything that is stated here and claim that there is forgiveness in Islam. They may even show some Qur’anic verses that speak about Allah’s forgiveness. Since the Qur’an is full of contradictory teachings, we should not be surprised at this deceptive game played by the apologists of Islam. Do not be misled. If there is truly forgiveness in Islam, would it be necessary for Muslims to “follow up a bad deed with a good deed” to atone their sins? And this is exactly what Muhammad taught his followers to do. He said: “Follow up a bad deed with a good deed and it will blot it out.” This clearly proves that it is not the forgiveness of Allah that atones for the sins of the Muslims but rather the doing of good deeds to offset their sins.

Not only are Muslims deceiving themselves but they also contradict the teachings of Allah when they claim there is true forgiveness in Islam. How can there be true forgiveness when the Qur’an clearly teaches that every single Muslim “will be taken to hell” immediately following his or her death. As expected, this may come as a shock for the vast majority of Muslims who are ignorant of their religion. According to the most authentic Hadith in the Muslim world and substantiated by verses in the Qur’an, Muhammad is in Hell along with his followers who have passed away in death. However, what should trouble Muslims even more today is the fact that this very same destiny awaits them. Would it make sense for every single Muslim to suffer this severe form of punishment if their sins are truly forgiven? We will now consider the evidences verified in both the Qur’an and the Hadiths.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 12, Number 770:

Narrated Abu Huraira: The people said, “O Allah’s Apostle! Shall we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection?” He replied, “Do you have any doubt in seeing the full moon on a clear night?” They replied, “No, O Allah’s Apostle!” He said, “Do you have any doubt in seeing the sun when there are no clouds?” They replied in the negative. He said, “You will see Allah (your Lord) in the same way.

On the Day of Resurrection, people will be gathered and He will order the people to follow what they used to worship. So some of them will follow the sun, some will follow the moon, and some will follow other deities; and only this nation (Muslims) will be left with its hypocrites. Allah will come to them and say, ‘I am Your Lord.’ They will say, ‘We shall stay in this place till our Lord comes to us and when our Lord will come, we will recognize Him.

Then Allah will come to them again and say, ‘I am your Lord.’ They will say, ‘You are our Lord.’ Allah will call them, and As-Sirat (a bridge) will be laid across Hell and I (Muhammad) shall be the first amongst the Apostles to cross it with my followers. Nobody except the Apostles will then be able to speak and they will be saying then, ‘O Allah! Save us. O Allah Save us.’

There will be hooks like the thorns of Sa’dan in Hell. Have you seen the thorns of Sa’dan?” The people said, “Yes.” He said, “These hooks will be like the thorns of Sa’dan but nobody except Allah knows their greatness in size and these will entangle the people according to their deeds; some of them will fall and stay in Hell forever; others will receive punishment and will get out of Hell, till when Allah intends mercy on whomever He likes amongst the people of Hell, He will order the angels to take out of Hell those who worshipped none but Him alone. The angels will take them out by recognizing them from the traces of prostrations, for Allah has forbidden the (Hell) fire to eat away those traces. So they will come out of the Fire, it will eat away from the whole of the human body except the marks of the prostrations. At that time they will come out of the Fire as mere skeletons. The Water of Life will be poured on them and as a result they will grow like the seeds growing on the bank of flowing water…”

Muslims who read this account may find it shocking. Shocking as it may be, it is nonetheless based on the true teachings of Islam. There is no ambiguity in the meaning of this Hadith. According to the clear teaching of Allah, Muhammad descended straight into Hell upon his death. He did not ascend to any heavenly Paradise as Muslims claim. Right now the Prophet of Islam is in Hell waiting to be rescued by Allah on the “Day of Resurrection.” The account continues on to state that a bridge which is known as “As-Sirat” will be “laid across Hell” through which those who are judged favorably will escape on the “Day of Judgment.” The Hadith clearly states that Muhammad will be among “the first to cross it” with his followers. Since the “As-Sirat” is “laid across Hell,” Muhammad has to be in Hell in order to use this bridge to depart from there.

The “Day of Resurrection” refers to the “Time of the End.”  This means that even now as you are reading this article, Muhammad is in Hell waiting to be rescued. The Hadith clearly reveals that even pious Muslims who pray regularly will be consumed by the fires of Hell, leaving only the “marks of their prostration” untouched. Thus, the bodies of the Muslims in Hell will be consumed by fire. And it states: “At that time–on the Day of Resurrection–they will come out of the Fire as mere skeletons.” In harmony with the teachings of Muhammad in the above Hadith, the Qur’an also confirms that all Muslims–every single one of them–“will be taken to Hell.”

Surah 19:70-71:We know best who deserves greater suffering in Hell fire. It is the inevitable decree of your Lord that every one of you will be taken to Hell.” (Sarwar)

We surely know best who most deserve to be burnt in its flames. There is not one of you who shall not pass through the confines of Hell.” (Dawood)

It is important to note that even those who are saved on the “Day of Resurrection” were not exempted from the punishment of Allah in Hell-fire for an unspecified number of years. Thus, there is no escape from Hell even for pious Muslims. The path to salvation cannot be found in the path that leads to Hell, even momentarily. PREDESTINATION AND FORGIVENESS

There is another vital reason why the concept of Forgiveness is a mockery, a charade in Islam. This is because of the teaching of Predestination in Islam. Predestination is irreconcilable with the concept of Forgiveness. These two teachings cannot coexist. The Qur’an states that Allah predestines everything:

Surah 9:51: “Nothing shall ever happen to us except what Allah has ordained for us.” (Hilali-Khan)

Surah 57:22: No calamity befalls the earth or your own selves, but it is pre-destined in a Book before We bring it into being. Indeed it is easy for Allah. (Muhammad Taqi Usmani)

Allah even preordains those who will be saved and those who will not. Only those preordained for salvation by Allah will be saved:

Surah 10:100: No soul can believe, except by the will of Allah, and He will place doubt on those who will not understand. (Yusuf Ali)

Surah 76:29-30: Verily! This (Verse of the Quran) is an admonition, so whosoever wills, let him take a Path to his Lord (Allah). But you cannot will, unless Allah wills. (Hilali-Khan)

Are you aware of the instant contradiction in Surah 76:29-30? At the beginning of these Qur’anic verses Allah clearly stated: “Whosoever wills, let him take a Path to his Lord.” Then, Allah instantly contradicts himself by saying: “But you cannot will, unless Allah wills.” Such contradictions are common in the teachings of Allah. It is important to recognize that Predestination is an important precondition in Islam’s doctrine of salvation. Reflect deeply on the meaning of the following Qur’anic verses:

Surah 5:40-41: Do you not know that to Allah only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth? He punishes whomever He wills, and forgives whomever He wills; and Allah is able to do all things…, And the one whom Allah wills to send astray, you will never be able to help him in the least against Allah; they are those whose hearts Allah did not will to cleanse; for them is disgrace in this world, and for them is a great punishment in the Hereafter. (Faridul Haque)

And the one whom Allah wills to send astray” cannot be saved. Not even Muhammad can do anything to guide that individual to the way of salvation. Allah asks Muhammad a provocative question:

Surah 4:88: “Would you guide whom Allah has caused to err? And whom Allah has led astray cannot be guided.” (Dawood)

And even more damaging is the Qur’an’s evidence that Allah inspires sin into a person:

Surah 91:7-8: “By the soul and Who shaped it and inspired it with its sin and its piety.” (Qaribullah)

Yes! Allah inspires sin into a person. The words of Allah in Surah 91:7-8 is so damaging that some translators of the Qur’an (like Yusuf Ali and Pickthall) deliberately attempt to obscure their true meaning by inserting the word, “knowledge” to these verses. The Arabic the word, “il’man” which means “knowledge” does not appear anywhere in these verses. Thus, they deliberately try to deceive Muslims by implying that Allah breathed into the soul the “knowledge” of sin and piety. The original Arabic does not allow for such insertion. And their deception is easily exposed by the following Hadith. Notice how Surah 91:7-8 is translated from the original Arabic in this Hadith.

Sahih Muslim, Book 033, Number 6406:

Abu al-Aswad reported that ‘Imran b Husain asked him: “…Allah’s Messenger, what is your opinion that the people do in the world and strive for, is something decreed for them; something preordained for them and will their fate in the Hereafter be determined by the fact that their Prophets brought them teachings which they did not act upon. And thus they became deserving of punishment? Thereupon, he said: Of course, it happens as it is decreed by Destiny and preordained for them, and this view is confirmed by this verse of the Book of Allah, the Exalted and Glorious: “Consider the soul and Him Who made it perfect, then breathed into it its sin and its piety” (S.91:7-8).

Muslims, this is a classic example how your scholars deceive you from knowing the truth. They deliberately alter the words of Allah to make them appear less offensive. Why? Are they ashamed of the teachings of Allah? The above Hadith clearly reveals that the final destination of Muslims in the hereafter is not determined by how they respond–either favorably or unfavorably–to the teachings of the Scriptures or the Prophets but “as it is decreed by destiny and preordained for them” by Allah. This means that in reality, the function of the Scriptures or the Prophets is absolutely redundant in Islam.

As we have noted, Allah decides the final destination of Muslims in the hereafter for them. For those who are destined to Hell, they are preordained to act accordingly to deserve such an unfavorable outcome. They can do nothing to alter the course. All the deeds that the individual will carry out during his or her lifetime have been predetermined for them before they are even born. Allah has sealed the fate of the Muslims while they are still in their mother’s womb. The following Hadith will testify to this fact:

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 77, Number 593:

Narrated ‘Abdullah bin Mus’ud: Allah’s Apostle, the truthful and truly-inspired, said, “Each one of you collected in the womb of his mother for forty days, and then turns into a clot for an equal period (of forty days) and turns into a piece of flesh for a similar period of forty days and then Allah sends an angel and orders him to write four things: His provision, his age, and whether he will be of the wretched or the blessed in the Hereafter. Then the soul is breathed into him. And by Allah, a person among you (or a man) may do deeds of the people of the Fire till there is only a cubit or an arm-breadth distance between him and the Fire, but then that writing which Allah has ordered the angel to write precedes, and he does the deeds of the people of Paradise and enters it; and a man may do the deeds of the people of Paradise till there is only a cubit or two between him and Paradise, and then that writing precedes and he does the deeds of the people of the Fire and enters it.”

If your final destination is already predetermined by Allah before you are even born, can you do anything to alter your destiny against the will of Allah? Imagine the hopelessness of your situation if you are predestined by Allah to spend eternity in Hell in the hereafter. In fact, a Muslim simply cannot choose to live a virtuous life unless he is predestined by Allah to do so. Such is the despair in Islam. You are damned if you are damned by Allah.

Every good deed and every bad deed of a Muslim is preordained by Allah. As such, can the forgiveness of Allah have any real meaning in Islam? Does it make sense for Allah to forgive a person when Allah himself is the cause of that very sin which needs forgiveness? In reality, it is not the forgiveness of Allah that saves those who are saved but rather the predestination of Allah. Since predestination rules out the possibility for an individual to work out his own salvation, it proves that Allah is actually showing favoritism towards those whom he selects to save. In contrast, the Bible teaches that Christians are given the freedom to determine the outcome of their salvation:

Philippians 2:12: “Keep working out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”

The following Hadith will enlighten us further on the far-reaching effects of predestination in Islam.

Sahih Muslim, Book 033, Number 6436:

A’isha, the mother of the believers, said that Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) was called to lead the funeral prayer of a child of the Ansar. I said: Allah’s Messenger, there is happiness for this child who is a bird from the birds of Paradise for it committed no sin nor has he reached the age when one can commit sin. He said: ‘A’isha, per adventure, it may be otherwise, because God created for Paradise those who are fit for it while they were yet in their father’s loins and created for Hell those who are to go to Hell. He created them for Hell while they were yet in their father’s loins.

The expression, “while they were yet in their father’s loins” refers to a time before the conception of the child even takes place. It refers to the time before the child is even conceived by his or her mother. Therefore, those predestined to Hell are subjected to it before they are even formed in their mother’s womb. This completely eliminates any hope for that child because the child who is predestined to Hell is created for Hell:

Surah 7:179: And surely, We have created many of the jinns and mankind for Hell. (Hilali-Khan)

The following Hadith reveals that Allah is the author/creator of sin.

Sahih Muslim, Book 033, Number 6421:

Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Apostle as saying: Verily Allah has fixed the very portion of adultery which a man will indulge in, and which he of necessity must commit.

Can you comprehend the absolute evil nature of this Islamic teaching? Will a loving God willfully subjugate his very own creation to commit such immoral sins which they “of necessity must commit.”? Will it then be justifiable for God to punish these ones for the sins that he himself destined them to commit? Would not such a God be both sadistic and evil in nature? Listen now to the voice of Jehovah:

Exodus 20:14: “You must not commit adultery.”

Since the doctrine of Predestination is antithesis to the concept of Forgiveness, Allah simply cannot be the true God. He can never be. That is why we should not be shocked by the satanic nature of his teaching in the following Hadith:

Sahih Muslim, Book 37, Hadith Number 6622:

Chapter: The obliteration of sins with the help of seeking forgiveness from Allah.

Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) having said: By Him in Whose Hand is my life, if you were not to commit sin, Allah would sweep you out of existence and He would replace you by those people who would commit sin and seek forgiveness from Allah, and He would have pardoned them.

Need we say more? Can you believe this? Allah just admitted that he will destroy all those who do not commit sins. In other words, Allah will destroy the righteous! Just contemplate very, very carefully! Is it the will of God or the will of Satan to destroy those who walk in integrity? Is this not a clue to the real identity of Allah? Does not this prove that Allah is actually Satan in disguise? Even if Muslims deny this, they still have to accept the fact that Satan is actually saving them from the destruction of Allah by causing them to sin. Therefore, rather than being an enemy, Satan is actually the savior of Muslims. Only in Islam, the committing of sins leads to preservation. Jehovah the God of Justice does not and will not predetermine our course of action against our will. He has, but lovingly placed in our hands the freedom to choose. Jehovah created us as free moral agents. By granting us this freedom to choose, he has dignified us. This glorious freedom is what differentiates us from animals. Animals perform by instinct but we by choice. Because we have a choice, we are also subjected to divine laws. Otherwise, the blessings and punishments for either obeying or disobeying the divine laws of God make no sense. It makes no sense when it is beyond our control to act on our own. Only when humans are given the freedom to choose, the deeds they perform will have any real significance. Only then can true justice prevail.

However, there is yet another vital reason why we are created as free moral agents with the right to exercise free will. Our loving Creator wants us to love him out of our own free will and not because we are predestined to do so. Only when we are given the free will to choose, we can truly say that the love that we express for Him is our own. If there is no free will, love can never play a part in our worship of God. Please read the following Bible verse:

Deuteronomy 30:19: “I have put life and death before you, the blessing and the curses. Now choose life, so that you may keep living.”

The above Bible text needs no explanation. It simply means we have a choice. We can choose our destination. We can choose life. For an in-depth understanding on the subject of Predestination in Islam, please click the following link: TEACHING OF PREDESTINATION PROVES ISLAM IS FALSE

THE FORGIVENESS OF JEHOVAH

Let us now turn our attention to Jehovah, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. How absolute is the forgiveness of Jehovah? When Jehovah forgives, does he really forget the sins of those whom he had forgiven? As our Creator, Jehovah knows that no matter how earnestly we may yearn to give our complete obedience to him, we all fall short of his requirements many times. As a result, we sin against him. However, if we sincerely seek his mercy with a repentant heart, we are assured that he will forgive us:

Psalm 51:17: “The sacrifices to God are a broken spirit; a heart broken and crushed, O God, you will not despise.”

Hence, Jehovah will never turn away a person that is “broken and crushed” by the burden of sin. However, this does not mean that we can presume on God’s mercy as an excuse to sin. Jehovah is not guided by mere sentiment. He will by no means forgive those who practice sin willfully. Neither will he forgive those who do not manifest genuine repentance for their sinful course.

Hebrews 10:26-27: For if we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left, but there is a certain fearful expectation of judgment and a burning indignation that is going to consume those in opposition.

The Book of Psalms uses an endearing expression to describe the extent of Jehovah’s mercy towards repentant sinners:

Psalm 103:12: “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.”

The expression “as far as the east is from the west” means “as far as possible” or “as far as we can imagine.” Thus, when Jehovah forgives, he puts our sins as far away from us as we can imagine. Have you ever tried to remove a stain from a light-colored garment? Despite our best efforts, the stain may remain visible. Consider now the care and completeness of Jehovah’s forgiveness:

Isaiah 1:18: “Though your sins should prove to be as scarlet, they will be made white just like snow; though they should be red like crimson cloth, they will become even like wool.”

We can never remove the stains of sin through our own personal effort. But Jehovah can remove the stains of our sins. He can take away our sins that are like scarlet or red like crimson cloth and make them white like snow or wool. When Jehovah forgives, we can be sure that the stains of our sins are removed completely. Never will he accuse us again for the sins that he has forgiven. Under inspiration the Prophet Isaiah wrote the following:

Isaiah 38:17: “You have thrown behind your back all my sins.”

Jehovah is here portrayed as taking hold of the sins of a repentant wrongdoer and throwing them behind his back. This means that Jehovah does not take notice of the sins of those whom he had forgiven any longer. The forgiveness is complete. Jehovah lovingly implores us to repent and leave our sinful course so that he can forgive us:

Acts 3:19: “Therefore, repent and turn around so as to get your sins blotted out.”

The phrase “blotted out” means “to wipe out, cancel or destroy.” This beautifully describes the extent of Jehovah’s mercy. When he forgives our sins, it is as though he wipes them away. Now, we come to the most important question. When Jehovah forgives, does he really forget the sins of a repentant sinner? The answer is an absolute YES. Jehovah gives us this assurance:

Jeremiah 31:34: “I shall forgive their error, and their sin I shall remember no more.”

What does the Bible mean when it says that Jehovah does not “remember” the sins of those whom he has forgiven? Of course it does not mean that when God forgives a sinner he is unable to recall the sins anymore? That could hardly be the case. Therefore, what does this really then mean? It means that Jehovah will not thereafter act against the individual on the basis of those sins which he had already forgiven. Thus, when Jehovah says “their sin I shall remember no more,” it means that once he has forgiven a repentant sinner, he will not thereafter act against the individual at some time in the future on the basis of those sins which he had forgiven.

Ezekiel 18:21-22: Now if someone wicked turns away from all the sins he has committed and keeps my statutes and does what is just and righteous, he will surely keep living. He will not die. None of the transgressions that he has committed will be held against him. He will keep living for doing what is righteous.

As we can see, Jehovah will not bring up the sins which he had already forgiven in order to punish us again at some time in the future. Is it not comforting to know that our God forgives and forgets? How refreshing to know that Jehovah is “ready to forgive” those who are truly repentant:

Psalms 86:5: For you, O Jehovah, are good and ready to forgive.

Despite the mistakes we make and continue to make, we should never conclude that we are beyond the reach of Jehovah’s mercy. If we repent sincerely from our heart, take the necessary steps to right the wrong, and earnestly pray for his forgiveness, we can have the full confidence that Jehovah will forgive us:

1 John 1:9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous so as to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

While Jehovah hates transgression, he does not hate the sinner. If we are truly repentant and reject our sinful course, we can be sure of his forgiveness.

A NOTE TO MUSLIMS

Muslims, your final destiny is not beyond your control as Islam teaches. You have the freedom to choose your destiny. You can choose life eternal by submitting to the true God:

John 17:3: “This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.”

It is important to note that the Qur’an actually quotes a verse from the Book of Psalms. However, Muhammad only quotes the verse partially in the Qur’an. The plagiarized verse in the Qur’an reads:

Surah 21:105: “Before this We wrote in the Psalms, after the Message given to Moses: My servants the righteous shall inherit the earth.” (Yusuf Ali)

Now read the full the quotation of this verse in the Holy Bible:

Psalms 37:29: The righteous themselves will inherit the earth and reside forever upon it.

The Bible clearly teaches that after removing the wicked on Judgment Day, the “righteous will inherit the earth and reside forever upon it.” Therefore, you can choose to be among the righteous and live forever on the Earth:

Psalms 37:10-11: Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more. You will look at where they were and they will not be there. But the meek will possess the earth and they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

Proverbs 2:21-22: For only the upright will reside in the earth and the blameless will remain in it. As for the wicked, they will be cut off from the earth. And the treacherous will be torn away from it.

Instead of turning to Muhammad for salvation, you should turn to Jesus Christ. Why is this absolutely essential for your salvation? It is because the Qur’an itself admits that Muhammad does not possess the power or the ability to guide his followers to the “Right Path” of salvation. Please read Muhammad’s own confession in the following Qur’anic verse:

Surah 72:21: “It is not in my power to cause you harm, or to bring you to the Right Path.” (Hilali-Khan)

Do you really understand the gravity of Muhammad’s confession in the above Qur’anic verse? It means you cannot depend on Muhammad to guide you to salvation. Would it really be wise to place your eternal salvation in the hands of this man? Compare now the assurance that Jesus gave his followers:

John 11:25: “I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.”

Jesus also made the following profound statement in the Holy Bible:

John 14:6: “I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

You will be surprised to learn that the Qur’an agrees with the Bible that obedience to Jesus is an essential precondition for Muslims to gain salvation. The Qur’an testifies that for a servant of God to be on the “Straight Way” of salvation, he must not only “fear God” but he must also “obey” Jesus Christ:

Surah 43:63-64: When Jesus came with Clear Signs, he said: “Now have I come to you with Wisdom, and in order to make clear to you some of the points on which you dispute. Therefore fear God and obey me. For God, He is my Lord and your Lord: so worship Him: This is a Straight Way.” (Yusuf Ali)

Yes! By obeying Jesus Christ you can be on the “Straight Way” leading to your salvation. And Jesus will lead you to your Creator. He will lead you to the only true God. The Holy Bible identifies the true God by name in the following verse:

Psalms 83:18: “May people know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth.”

Muslims who choose to remain in Islam can never be sure of their salvation. What is important for Muslims to understand is that Allah does not forgive or forget their sins. He only pretends to forgive sinners. While Allah pretends, true forgiveness can be found only with Jehovah. And he forgives in a large way:

Isaiah 55:7: Let the wicked man leave his way. And the evil man his thoughts. Let him return to Jehovah who will have mercy on him. Let him return to our God for he will forgive in a large way.

When Jehovah forgives, he does so completely and everlastingly. Sinners who submit to his loving invitation to repent and leave their sinful course will be shown mercy and they will receive his forgiveness. How grateful we are to worship a God who forgives us in a large way.
