THE EVIL ORIGIN OF ISLAM

THE EVIL ORIGIN OF ISLAM

The claim that only One Faith can be true, and by implication others are false, is based upon the belief that God has spoken to mankind through a single Revelation intended for all. For Christians, that Revelation is the Holy Bible whereas Muslims claim it is the Qur’an. The concept of One True Faith is also based on the basic rationality that two propositions that contradict each other cannot both be true. One or the other has to be true. Therefore, the contradictory doctrines between Islam and Christianity cannot be affirmed as equally true. If Islam is true, then Christianity is false. If Christianity is true, then Islam must be rejected. We simply cannot merge religions that have diametrically opposing doctrine and principles. Interfaith is a great deception.

Christianity’s foundation is built on the person of Jesus Christ. His virgin birth, the miracles he performed and his resurrection to heaven gives credibility to his uniqueness as God’s greatest Messenger. These claims have strong verifiability. Islam does not challenge or dispute these facts. In fact, the Qur’an acknowledges not only the miracles that Jesus performed but also the unique nature of his unique virgin-birth and his subsequent ascension to heaven to be in the presence of God.

Surah 3:45-47: Behold! The angels said: “O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of the company of those nearest to Allah; He shall speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. And he shall be of the company of the righteous. She said: “O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man hath touched me?” He said: “Even so: Allah createth what He willeth: When He hath decreed a plan, He but saith to it, ‘Be’ and it is!” (Yusuf Ali)

Surah 4:158: “But Allah raised him (Jesus)) up unto Himself (and he is in the heavens). And Allah is Ever All-Powerful, All-Wise.” (Hilali-Khan)

Bible record shows that at the very beginning of his ministry, Jesus encountered a spirit creature who confronted him with the sole intention of breaking his integrity. Jesus was destined to become the cornerstone of the Christian faith and Satan wanted to destroy the foundation upon which Christianity was to be built. However, Jesus foiled the plans of Satan by not submitting to his crafty designs. And Satan fled. The full account of Jesus’ encounter with Satan can be read at Matthew 4:1-11.

At the beginning of his calling as Allah’s messenger, Muhammad too came into contact with a spirit creature in the cave of Hira. This encounter terrified Muhammad. He became convinced that the spirit creature was a demon. And Muhammad fled. However, he was later led to believe that this spirit creature was an angelic messenger from Allah – a medium to receive revelations from Allah. Was Muhammad deceived?

If the angelic messenger who spoke to Muhammad was truly sent by God, then Muhammad is the first person in recorded history to mistaken a “messenger of God” for a demon. According to his own testimony, he at first thought that the angel was a demon, from whom he ran and hid in fear. Muhammad only realized his “error” after his wife – who never saw or heard the supernatural messenger – convinced him otherwise. Muhammad thought he was possessed by a demon, until his wife reassured him that he had become a prophet. Through Khadijah’s persuasion, he came to believe that he had received a divine mission from God.

Islamic sources testify that Khadijah was simply a business woman for whom Muhammad worked for and later married. It must then be asked, “What authority or experience or qualification did she have to confirm with certainty that the source of Muhammad’s message was God and not an evil spirit?” “As she made no claims to be a prophetess, so how did she know?”

The most important difference between the callings of God’s prophets in the Bible and Muhammad’s calling is that there is not a single incident in the Bible where someone confused the calling of God with that of Satan. When God spoke, not one of those called by Him ever said: “I wonder if this is from God or Satan?” In all cases, the calling of God was so convincing, so conclusive and so authoritative that the recipients of the divine mission were immediately certain. There was no question as to who originated the call. Neither was there a need for the assurance of anyone else. The divine callings experienced by the prophets of the true God were completely different from the one experienced by Muhammad. Jesus Christ gave the following warning:

Matthew 12:31: “Therefore I say unto you, every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men; but the blasphemy against the holy spirit shall not be forgiven.”

One of the unforgivable sins against the Holy Spirit is to ascribe the works of God to Satan. Coming to Muhammad, we are left with two options. One: Muhammad was wrong when he concluded that the calling of God was from Satan. Two: Muhammad was right when he concluded that the calling, which came through the angel, was from Satan.

If Muhammad was wrong when he interpreted the calling of God as coming from Satan, then he ensnared himself by ascribing the works of God to the Devil. And by claiming that Islam is built on the foundation of Judaism and Christianity, Muhammad placed himself under the divine judgment of the Holy Bible. According to the divine laws of the Holy Bible, he blasphemed against the Holy Spirit and thus committed the unforgivable sin. However, if Muhammad was right and the angelic visitor was indeed from Satan, then a false religion began in the cave that day – a religion inspired by none other than Satan himself. Either option disqualifies Muhammad as a prophet of the true God. And at the same instant, Islam is disqualified as the religion of the true God.

Well, was Muhammad wrong or was he right in his initial assessment that the visiting spirit creature in the cave was a demon? According to his own independent and uninfluenced testimony, he believed the spirit visitor was a demon. That was his immediate conclusion. The violent reaction of the spirit, who repeatedly strangled him so tight that he thought he would die, provides vital clues for us. The terrorization by the supernatural spirit creature is extremely significant and adds tremendous strength to the truth of Muhammad’s initial conclusion.

The experience was so traumatic for Muhammad that he became suicidal and wanted to kill himself. The evidence of demonic manifestation could not have been any clearer than this. The sole witness in the cave believed that the spirit, which brought the Qur’anic verses to him, was an evil spirit. Muhammad himself disqualifies the Qur’an as the Word of God. God will never convey his revelations in a manner as demonic as this. He will never send a spirit to traumatize the recipient of his messages.

It is also worthy for Muslims to note that the revelations Muhammad later received included the understanding that the testimony of a woman is worth only half of that of a man. In other words, a man’s testimony is worth twice of that of a woman:

Surah 2:282: “And get two witnesses out of your own men. And if there are not two men available, then a man and two women, such as you agree for witnesses, so that if one of them (two women) errs, the other can remind her.” (Hilali-Khan)

If the Qur’an is to be believed, then the testimony of Muhammad outweighs Khadijah’s contrasting testimony. Thus, Allah himself invalidates her testimony. Hence, Muslims are left with only the self-incriminating testimony of Muhammad. A testimony that bears witness that the visiting spirit was not an angel from God but an impersonating demon. If this exposé is shocking, wait till you see the evidence.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 1, Number 3:

The Prophet added, “The angel caught me (forcefully) and pressed me so hard that I could not bear it any more. He then released me and again asked me to read and I replied, ‘I do not know how to read.’ Thereupon he caught me again and pressed me a second time till I could not bear it any more. He then released me and again asked me to read but again I replied, ‘I do not know how to read (or what shall I read?)’ Thereupon he caught me for the third time and pressed me, and then released me and said, ‘Read in the name of your Lord, who has created (all that exists) has created man from a clot. Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous.” (96.1, 96.2, 96.3)

Then Allah’s Apostle returned with the Inspiration and with his heart beating severely. Then he went to Khadija bint Khuwailid and said,“Cover me! Cover me!” They covered him till his fear was over and after that he told her everything that happened and said, “I fear that something may happen to me.” Khadijah replied, “Never! By Allah, Allah will never disgrace you. You keep good relations with your Kith and kin, help the poor and the destitute, serve your guests generously and assist the deserving calamity-afflicted ones.”

Something really distressing occurred in the cave. Muhammad ran back to his wife terrorized. He tells her, “I fear that something may happen to me. Just as children hide under the covers when they are afraid, Muhammad had his wife wrap him in a blanket. He did not want to see the cause of that terror again. That supernatural confrontation in the cave was more demonic than divine. Muhammad was the first person to doubt the genuineness of the revelation. After the terrifying and violent encounter with the spirit, Muhammad feared that he was possessed by a demon.  He sensed it was a demon and not an angel that spoke to him. He was so distraught by the experience that he became suicidal. It is absolutely outrageous that someone could be pushed towards suicide following a revelation from God.

Additionally, if Muhammad was truly illiterate, why was the spirit unaware of this simple fact concerning the one to whom he was to deliver Allah’s message? Then again, if Muhammad could actually read, why did Allah choose a liar who repeatedly denied he could read, as his prophet?

Ibn Ishaq’s “Sirat Rasul Allah” which is one of the earliest renowned historical biographies of Muhammad, states:

So I (Muhammad) read it, and he (Gabriel) departed from me.  And I awoke from my sleep, and it was as though these words were written on my heart. Now none of God’s creatures was more horrible to me than a poet or a man possessed: I could not even look at them.  I thought, “Woe is me poet or possessed – Never shall Quraysh say this of me!  I will go to the top of the mountain and throw myself down that I may kill myself and gain rest.”

Yes, you read it right. After his first encounter with the spirit, Muhammad believed he was possessed by a demon. When Jesus drove out the demons from a man, they entered into a herd of swine. What did the possessed swine do? Like Muhammad, they became suicidal. They killed themselves by jumping off from a cliff into the sea where they drowned. The herd of swine committed suicide!

Matthew 8:32: Jesus said to them, “Go!” The demons came out and went off into the swine. Suddenly, the whole herd rushed down the cliff into the sea and died in the waters.

Islamic scholars and teachers, who are well informed about the facts of Muhammad’s suicide attempts, avoid teaching this account because it casts a stain upon Muhammad. It brings doubt to the credibility of his assumed prophetic experience and to his authority as a prophet of God. For Muhammad to experience such morbid fear even to the extent of becoming suicidal, it must truly be a terrifying encounter. Can a “calling” such as this come from the true God? 2 Timothy 1:7 clearly states:

For God hath not given us a spirit of fear, but that of power and of love and of soundness of mind.”

Another lie that Islam teaches is that the violent spirit sent by Allah to speak to Muhammad was the angel Gabriel.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 001, Book 001, Hadith Number 004:

Then it is for Allah to make you recite it and its meaning will be clear by itself through your tongue. Afterwards, Allah’s Apostle used to listen to Gabriel whenever he came and after his departure he used to recite it as Gabriel had recited it.

Had the spirit been Gabriel, he would have calmed Muhammad and relieved his fear. However, the spirit left him in extreme distress. The encounter by Muhammad stands in stark contrast to the gentle nature of angelic encounters in the Bible. The true Gabriel and other angels almost always begin their conversation with the comforting phrase, “Do not be fearful.” The following Biblical accounts are just a few out of the many examples of comforting encounters that worshippers of the true God had with angels:

Matthew 28:5: The angel said to the women: “Do not be fearful, I know that you are looking for Jesus, who has been crucified.”

Luke 1:13: However, the angel Gabriel said to him: “Zechariah, have no fear, God has heard your prayer. Your wife, Elizabeth, will give birth to a son, and you will name him John.”

Luke 1:26-30: In the sixth month after Elizabeth became pregnant, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee. He was sent to a virgin who was engaged to a man named Joseph. He came from the family line of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. The angel greeted her and said, “The Lord has given you special favor. He is with you. Mary was very upset because of his words. She wondered what kind of greeting this could be. So the angel said to her: “Have no fear, Mary, for you have found favor with God.”

In contrast, Muhammad’s encounter with the impersonating spirit deeply troubled him. Many verses in the Qur’an show that Muhammad’s contemporaries believed that his experiences were demonic in nature and that he was demon possessed. Surah 44:14 is one such verse:

They turn away from him and say: “Tutored by others, a man possessed.” (Yusuf Ali)

Muhammad’s very own testimony supports the conclusion of his contemporaries. In Kitab al-Tabaqat al-Kabir by Ibn Sa’d (d. 845 C.E.), translated by S. Moinal Haq (page 225), it is documented:

Muhammad said: “O Khadija, I see light and hear sounds and I fear I am mad.”

Additionally, if the spirit had truly been the angel Gabriel, the very first revelation conveyed by this spirit would not contain a false scientific fact or a contradiction in it. The spirit said to Muhammad:

Surah 96:1-2: “Proclaim thou in the name of thy Lord Who created, Created man from a clot of blood.” (Sher Ali)

Professor Haanein Muhammad Makhloof wrote that the Arabic word “alaq” translated into English as “clot” means “frozen blood” (p. 508 of his Dictionary of the Meanings of Words of the Qur’an).

Centuries earlier the Bible stated that man was created from the dust of the ground and not from frozen blood. And verses of the Qur’an which were revealed later agree with this Biblical fact.

Genesis 2:7:And God formed man out of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

Surah 30:20: “And of His signs is this: He created you of dust, and behold you human beings, ranging widely!” (Pickthall)

Surah 38:71-72: “When your Lord said to the angels; ‘Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust.’” (Shakir)

It can clearly be seen here that the Qur’an contradicts itself. In one instance it says that man was created from “a clot” which means “frozen blood,” while in other verses it says that man was created from “dust.”

The Qur’an and the Bible in the Light of Science” by Dr. William Campbell states on page 185:

As ever reader who has studied human reproduction will realize, there is no state as a clot during the formation of a fetus, so this is a very major scientific problem. Would the angel Gabriel make such a scientific error?

Thus, it is an evident scientific error even when applied to the act of conception because the fetus does not come from “a clot of blood. Fetus comes from the fusion of the ovum and sperm to form a living cell and not from “a clot of blood. It is essential to note that the Qur’an both agrees and contradicts the Bible on this single subject of man’s creation. This would essentially place the Qur’an in an unreliable position. It would mean that at least in one instant the Qur’an is wrong. A divine book cannot be partially correct. It has to be consistently accurate. This effectively disqualifies the Qur’an as the Word of God. Moreover, as pointed out earlier, the Qur’an also contradicts itself on this single subject of man’s creation. It is crucial to remember that the very first revelation given by this deceptive spirit contains both an internal and external contradiction in it. Allah’s infallible Qur’an begins with a contradiction within itself. Ironically, the Qur’an judges itself adversely when it states:

Surah 4:82: Do they not then consider the Qur’an carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much contradictions. (Hilali-Khan)

The Qur’an failed in its own challenge. According to the Qur’an, God’s Word cannot contain a single contradiction in it. Since there is a contradiction, then it means that the Qur’an could not have originated from God. In fact, there are many more contradictions in it. As such, it cannot lead us to the path of salvation. As Muhammad was illiterate, he was thoroughly deceived by the spirit masquerading as Gabriel. Instead of seeking enlightenment through the divine light of the Holy Bible, Muhammad’s illiteracy led him to seek it in the darkness of a cave. That divine light from the inspired Word of the true God would have greatly facilitated him to distinguish truth from error.

More than five-hundred years before the Qur’an was revealed, the inspired Scriptures that were given to the Christians warned them against the dangers of being misled by deceptive spirits:

Galatians 1:8: But should we or an angel from Heaven preach to you any other Gospel than that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed.

So what sort of messages did this “Gabriel” transmit to Muhammad? What was their nature? In one of the messages delivered to Muhammad, we find the following declaration:

Surah 9:30: “The Christians call Christ the son of God. That is a saying from their mouth; in this they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to day. God’s curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!” (Yusuf Ali)

However, centuries earlier when Gabriel appeared to Mary, he told her:

Luke 1:35: The holy spirit shall come upon thee, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow thee. For that reason also what is born will be called holy, God’s Son.

Clearly, these are two contrasting messages. Can they really come from the same Gabriel? Which one then is the true message from God? The message in the Bible or the message in the Qur’an? The Book of Luke is part of the Gospel. Carefully notice what is said about the Gospel in the Qur’an.

Surah 5:46: “And We caused Jesus, son of Mary, to follow in their footsteps, confirming that which was (revealed) before him in the Torah, and We bestowed on him the Gospel wherein is guidance and a light, confirming that which was (revealed) before it in the Torah – a guidance and an admonition unto those who ward off evil.” (Pickthall)

The Qur’an validates the Gospel as the God-given Word of God. It also adds that there is “guidance and a light” in it. Can that which is given as “guidance and a light” by God himself include an erroneous message in it? Absolutely not! And the Qur’an testifies in Surah 10:64 that “none can change the Word of God.” This clearly proves that the proclamation of the Gospel in Luke 1:35 which identifies Jesus as the Son of God is the true unchanged message of God. Also, the Qur’an insists that Christians observe the guidance of the Gospel. And this means believing that Jesus is the Son of God.

Surah 5:68: Say: “O followers of the BibleYou have no valid ground for your beliefs – unless you (truly) observe the Torah and the Gospel, and all that has been bestowed from on high upon you by your Sustainer!” (Asad)

Even Muhammad is commanded in the Qur’an to follow the guidance given to the earlier messengers of God, which includes the guidance specified through Jesus in the Gospel.

Surah 6:84-90: And We bestowed upon him Isaac and Jacob; each of them We guided; and Noah did We guide aforetime; and of his seed We guided David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward the good. And Zachariah and John and Jesus and Elias. Each one of them was of the righteous… Those are they unto whom We gave the Scripture and Command and Prophethood… Those are they whom Allah guideth, so follow their guidance. (Pickthall)

While admitting that the Gospel contains “guidance and a light,” the Qur’an at the same instant contradicts the messages of the Gospel. Does not this tell us that something is seriously wrong with the messages transmitted by this spirit to Muhammad?

Who then is this “Gabriel” who brought these contradictory messages to Muhammad in the Qur’an? The Bible provides us with a vital piece of information in Jude 1:6:

And I remind you of the angels who did not stay within the limits of authority God gave them but left the place where they belonged. God has kept them in everlasting bonds under darkness, waiting for the great Day of Judgment.”

The Bible tells us that because of acts of revolt against God, some angels lost their positions in heaven and joined Satan in his rebellion. These rebellious angels became demons. And these demons seek revenge by turning mankind away from the teachings of the true God. One way they do this is by means of misleading inspired messages – messages that contradict God’s Word. The deceptive spirit that brought contradictory messages to Muhammad is either Satan himself or one of his fallen angels. The Bible gives a loving caution to Christians in 1 John 4:1:

Beloved, do not accept as true every inspired expression, but test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God because many false prophets have gone forth into the world.

The true God requires his worshippers to test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God. Since Muslims consider it blasphemous to critically analyze the Qur’an, they accept the teachings of Islam unquestioningly. In fact, they are commanded not to ask any questions regarding the tenents of Islam.

Surah 5:101-102: O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which if made plain to you, may cause you trouble…Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith.” (Yusuf Ali)

However, in this this article, as well as the articles that follow, we will not only raise questions but also analyze some of the vital teachings of the Qur’an. This will be done to aid sincere Muslims see the numerous errors in the teachings of Islam.

There are many dangers lurking in the religion of Islam. And one of the subtle dangers of the Qur’an is the existence of partial truths in it. The worst kinds of lies are half-truths because they are often hard to detect. Note for example how the Qur’an accurately teaches that the Bible, which consists of the Torah and Gospel, is the revealed Word of God.

Surah 3:3-4: “He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind.” (Yusuf Ali)

Yet at the same time, the Qur’an contradicts the vital teachings of the Bible. The Qur’an denies not only the unique position of Jesus as the Son of God but it also denies the atoning value of his sacrifice. Since the Qur’an confirms the Bible as the Word of God, while contradicting its fundamental teachings, the Qur’an is misleading. It must be rejected because such conflicting teachings only prove the existence of inconsistencies within its pages. Conflicting truths cannot exist in the inspired Word of God.

There are many conflicting teachings in the Qur’an. Muslim apologists deceitfully exploit these conflicting teachings to mislead those unfamiliar with Islam. For instance, the earlier Qur’anic verses that are more tolerant are shown to potential converts while the latter intolerant verses are concealed. The truth is, the earlier tolerant verses – though still existing in the Qur’an – are abrogated by the latter sword verses and are no longer in force. The incriminating violent verses are carefully kept secret until conversion to Islam takes place. Many are deceived until it is too late for them. To avoid having a similar fate, a complete understanding of the entire Qur’an is essential. It is time to reveal the truth about Islam.

The Qur’an is based completely on the personal experiences of one illiterate man spanning a period of 23 years. Only one person allegedly saw the “angel.” Only one person allegedly heard the voice. The entire faith is limited to one book with only one person who allegedly received the vision. There is absolutely no way to verify anything. The only way to become a Muslim, then, is to take this one man’s word for it.

This is quite a contrast to the Bible. Some forty different men were used to write the Scriptures consisting of sixty-six books upon which Christianity rests. These men lived and wrote the inspired messages over a period of 1600 years. The inspired writers ranged in background from fishermen to kings. Various ones were contemporaries and acquainted with one another, while others were separated by hundreds of years and sometimes hundreds of miles. In spite of these challenges, the Book they produced is a complete and harmonious volume. It is free from contradictions and filled with evidences of divine inspiration.

When we contemplate the beginning of the Qur’an, with its delivery in the darkness of a cave by a spirit who displayed all the manifestations of a demon, it is difficult to understand just how anyone can place their conviction and their eternal salvation in a book built upon a foundation as blasphemous as this.

Muhammad claimed to be God’s final prophet. What supporting evidence is there that the angel Gabriel spoke to him? Are there testimonies of eyewitnesses? As Islamic sources themselves testify, Muhammad is the only witness to his claim that Gabriel spoke to him. One witness is not acceptable in substantiating such an important claim. We cannot accept the sole testimony of Muhammad. Allah even required four male witnesses to prove rape. The Bible says such claims as the ones made by Muhammad must be established on the testimony of two or three witnesses:

Deuteronomy 19:15: “Only on the testimony of two or three witnesses shall a matter be established.”

This means that believing Muhammad’s claim is a violation of God’s law. Substantiating this divine law, Jesus Christ said to the Jews of his days:

John 5:31-39: “If I alone bear witness on my behalf, my witness is not true. There is another that bears witness about me, and I know that the witness which he bears about me is true. You have sent men unto John, and he has borne witness to the truth. However, I do not accept the witness from man, but I say these things that you may be saved. That man was a burning and shining lamp, and you for a short time were willing to rejoice greatly in his light. But I have the witness greater than that of John, for the very works that my Father assigned me to accomplish, the works themselves that I am doing, bear witness about me that the Father dispatched me. Also, the Father who sent me has himself borne witness about me. You have neither heard his voice at any time nor seen his figure; and you do not have his word remaining in you, because the very one whom he dispatched you do not believe. You are searching the Scriptures, because you think that by means of them you will have everlasting life. These very Scriptures bear witness about me.”

As testified by the above Biblical verses, Jesus Christ has Four Witnesses:

(1) The testimony of John the Baptist.

(2) The testimony of the Miraculous Works that he performed.

(3) The testimony of the Heavenly Father.

(4) The testimony of the Scriptures – God’s Prophetic Word.

In his Gospel, the apostle John recorded many of the miracles Jesus performed and he gives us the reason why they are recorded in the Holy Bible:

John 20:30-31: “And Jesus performed many miracles in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.”

The Qur’an also acknowledges that Jesus performed miracles. It confirms that Jesus healed the lepers and those born blind, and it even acknowledges the fact that Jesus resurrected the dead. It records Jesus as saying:

Surah 3:49: As a messenger to the Children of Israel: “I come to you with a sign from your Lord… I restore vision to the blind, heal the leprous, and I revive the dead by God’s leave. I can tell you what you eat, and what you store in your homes. This should be a proof for you, if you are believers.” (Khalifa)

The Qur’an provides many testimonies to the uniqueness of Jesus among the Messengers of God. In contrast, when Muhammad was asked by his contemporaries to perform a single miracle so that they could believe in him, he gave the following excuse:

Surah 29:50: They say, ‘Why have no miracles been sent to him by his Lord?’ Say, ‘Miracles lie in God’s hands; I am simply here to warn you plainly.’ (A. Haleem)

We, too, agree that miracles of divine origin “lie in God’s hands.” However, if God empowered Moses and Jesus with miracles to confirmthat they were sent by Him, why was Muhammad not given such a confirmation? Before we conclude, there is one more interesting piece of evidence that we would like to unveil. Evidence that will further disqualify Muhammad as the prophet of the true God. It takes every piece of vital information that we can gather from the sources of Islam itself to help sincere Muslims identify the truth about Muhammad.

Muhammad was born in Arabia in 570 C.E. to idol-worshipping pagan parents. His parents’ form of worship was in direct violation to the divine laws of the true God – the God of Abraham. It is significant to note that the Qur’an, the book inspired by Allah himself, does not mention a single detail of Muhammad’s birth, his father or his mother, or any of his ancestors. The only relatives of Muhammad who are mentioned in the Qur’an are his aunt and his uncle who is known as Abu Lahab. In the Qur’an, Allah curses his uncle and aunt to a destiny of “Hell-fire” because of their refusal to support Muhammad’s new found faith.

Surah 111:1-5: The power of Abu Lahab will perish, and he will perish. His wealth and gains will not exempt him. He will be plunged in flaming fire, And his wife, the wood carrier, Will have upon her neck a halter of palm fiber. (Pickthall)

In contrast, the Bible tells us about the father and mother of Moses and all the details of his birth. (Exodus 2:1-10). Moses was born into a family of strong faith in the God of Abraham. This truth is testified in Hebrews 11:23:

By faith Moses was hid by his parents for three months after he was born, because they saw that he was a proper child and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment.

The Qur’an also speaks of Moses’ mother as a woman of faith:

Surah 28:7-9: And We inspired the mother of Moses, saying: Suckle him and, when thou fears for him, then cast him into the river and fear not nor grieve. Lo! We shall bring him back unto thee and shall make him one of Our messengers. And the family of Pharaoh took him up, that he might become for them an enemy and a sorrow. Lo! Pharaoh and Haman and their hosts were ever sinning. And the wife of Pharaoh said: He will be a consolation for me and for thee. Kill him not. Peradventure he may be of use to us, or we may choose him for a son. And they perceived not. (Pickthall)

Also the unique nature of Jesus’ miraculous birth was announced to Mary:

Luke 1:28-35: When the angel entered her home, he said: “Good day, highly favored one, the Lord is with you.” But she was deeply disturbed at the saying and began to reason out what sort of greeting this might be. So the angel said to her: “Have no fear, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Look! You will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and you are to call his name Jesus. This one will be great and will be called Son of the Most High; the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father, and he will rule as king over the house of Jacob forever, and there will be no end of his kingdom.” But Mary said to the angel: “How is this to be, since I am having no intercourse with a man?” In answer the angel said to her: “Holy spirit will come upon you, and power of the Most High will overshadow you. For that reason also what is born will be called holy, God’s Son.

The Qur’an too acknowledges the miraculous nature of Jesus’ birth:

Surah 3:45-47: Behold! The angels said: “O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah; “He shall speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. And he shall be (of the company) of the righteous.” She said: “O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man hath touched me?” He said: “Even so: Allah createth what He willeth: when He hath decreed a Plan, He but saith to it, ‘Be,’ and it is! (Yusuf Ali)

Surah 19:17-21: She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent to her Our angel, and he appeared before her as a man in all respects. She said: “I seek refuge from thee to (Allah) Most Gracious: (come not near) if thou dost fear Allah.” He said: “Nay, I am only a messenger from thy Lord, (to announce) to thee the gift of a holy son.” She said: “How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?” (Yusuf Ali)

Why are the details of the birth of Moses and Jesus made known to us, both in the Holy Bible and in the Qur’an, but not that of Muhammad? Also, note that both Moses and Jesus came from devout families who were already worshippers of the true God. But as for Muhammad, his parents and relatives were all pagans.

When God established the Law Covenant with the nation of Israel through Moses as the mediator, the family roots of this chosen mediator were already grounded in true worship of the God of Abraham. The same standard was followed when Jesus was used to establish the New Covenant. Jesus, too, came from a devout family who were already worshippers of the true God. They were all worshippers of the God of Abraham. There is great wisdom on the part of God to select his messengers in this manner.

Now, why would God violate his own righteous standards in the case of Muhammad? Why would he break his own established principles and now choose a “prophet” from a pagan family? Also, why were the names of the parents of Moses and Jesus made known in the Scriptures whereas the names of Muhammad’s parents are not mentioned even in passing in the Qur’an?

From infancy, both Moses and Jesus knew the true God. But, as for Muhammad, he grew up as a pagan. He remained a pagan until his alleged calling as a “prophet” at the age of forty. Until then, he belonged to the pagan religion of his parents and his parents’ parents. This fact can be substantiated by the following Qur’anic verses:

Surah 12:3: We narrate to you the best of narratives, by Our revealing to you this Qur’an, though before this you were certainly one of those who did not know. (Shakir)

Surah 42:52: “And thus have We, by Our Command, sent inspiration to thee: thou knewest not before what was Revelation, and what was Faith; but We have made the Qur’an a Light, wherewith We guide such of Our servants as We will; and verily thou dost guide (men) to the Straight Way.” (Yusuf Ali)

Muhammad “knewest not before what was Revelation, and what was Faith.” This means that Muhammad was not acquainted with the “Revelation” of the true God. Neither was he aware of the “Religion” of the true God. The “Revelation” that Muhammad “knewest not” cannot be the Qur’an because he himself was the recipient of the Qur’an. Therefore, it must be referring to a “Revelation” given earlier by God. Thus, the Qur’an itself admits that Muhammad, being a pagan, was unacquainted with the earlier “Revelation” of the true God. And as a pagan, he was also unfamiliar with the “Faith” of the God of Abraham.

Muslims will find it extremely difficult to acknowledge the fact that Muhammad was a pagan. However, the great scholars of Islam recognize this fact regarding Muhammad’s pagan origin. Renowned Arab scholar and historian, Hisham ibn al-Kalbi (737 C.E. – 819 C.E.) disclosed the following fact on page 17 of his important work, Kitab al-Asnam (The Book of Idols):

We have been told that the Apostle of Allah once mentioned al-Uzza saying, “I have offered a white sheep to al-‘Uzza, while I was a follower of the religion of my people.”’

Al-‘Uzza was one of the female deities worshipped by the Quraysh pagans. Muhammad who belonged to this tribe was once a worshipper of this pagan idol. And he made sacrifices to this pagan idol. Muhammad’s roots began in paganism. Muslims should ponder deeply on the vital evidences revealed here about their Prophet. The evidences presented here from sources of Islam itself prove that Muhammad cannot be a chosen prophet of the true God. And this automatically disqualifies Islam as a religion of the true God.

Just think, this is not the end but only the beginning of our journey into the dark world of Islam. What we have discussed so far is only the tip of the iceberg. Many more shocking evidences will be provided through the numerous articles presented here to thoroughly prove that Islam cannot be the religion of mankind’s Creator. Islam has many dark secrets. It is built on lies and it is allergic to truth. It planted its own seed of destruction the day it relied on deceit to spread its teachings. Therefore, it is vital to expose the lies of Islam. It is our contention that honest Muslims will leave Islam once they become fully informed. Since the entire religion is based on the word of one man, it is vital to put Muhammad on the witness stand. Islam accepts Jesus Christ as a true Prophet of God. And Jesus Christ predicted the coming of many false prophets:

Matthew 7:15: “Watch out for false prophets that come to you disguised in sheep’s clothing, but inside they are vicious wolves.”

Matthew 24:11: “And many false prophets will arise and mislead many astray.”

It is significant that Jesus warned that after his going away, “many false prophets will arise and mislead many astray.” Muhammad claimed himself to be a prophet of God. Is his claim true? Or does he come under this category of false prophets that Jesus warned us about? In the best interest of everyone, Muslims included, we will allow the evidences from the sources of Islam itself answer this vital question. We will use Islam to expose Muhammad – the lone Prophet of Islam.

Islam claims that the Qur’an is the literal word of God, which was dictated word for word to Muhammad by Allah. Thus, Islam is an all-or-nothing cult. Any fault in the Qur’an, or doubts as to the truthfulness of Muhammad, can cause the whole system to collapse. Muslims have already come to realize the certainty of such an outcome. That is why they fly into tantrums whenever Muhammad or the Qur’an is criticized. Under Sharia law any criticism of either Muhammad or the Qur’an is considered as blasphemous, which carries a punishment of death.

This hypersensitive defensiveness and outrage at criticism are certainly not the reactions of a confident belief system. But they are the expected reaction of a weak, information-control cult. These reactions are evidence of an attempt to protect a fatal vulnerability, an attempt to cover a weakness – an Achilles heel. The location of that Achilles heel is effectively demonstrated by the reaction of the Muslim world whenever the moral character of Muhammad or the teachings of Islam are challenged. Thus, Muslims themselves have shown us their most vulnerable spot. We need to use this weakness of Islam to our advantage. We need to expose not only the offensive teachings of Islam but also the true nature of Muhammad.

Muslims revere Muhammad because very few know the truth about him. If we destroy the credibility of Muhammad, we destroy Islam. Better still, if we can use Islamic sources themselves to expose Muhammad as an immoral man who is a ruthless killer, a mass murderer and a wicked imposter, then the Qur’an and the Hadiths will become nothing more than the empty ravings and ramblings of an impotent religious system.

Providentially, the shortcomings of Muhammad are many. Therefore, it is not difficult to expose the errors of Muhammad. In fact, early Muslim records show that he failed a direct test of his claim to prophethood. He was asked to explain why a child would look like one parent as opposed to looking like the other. He claimed that “Gabriel” came and gave him the inspired answer. Therefore, this means that we are now dealing with both Muhammad’s personal opinion and what he claims to be a revelation of God.

Sahih Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 55, Number 546:

Narrated By Anas: When ‘Abdullah bin Salam heard the arrival of the Prophet at Medina, he came to him and said, “I am going to ask you about three things which nobody knows except a prophet: What is the first portent of the Hour? What will be the first meal taken by the people of Paradise? Why does a child resemble its father, and why does it resemble its maternal uncle.” Allah’s Apostle said, “Gabriel has just now told me of their answers.” ‘Abdullah said, “He (i.e. Gabriel), from amongst all the angels, is the enemy of the Jews.”

Allah’s Apostle said, “The first portent of the Hour will be a fire that will bring together the people from the east to the west; the first meal of the people of Paradise will be Extra-lobe (caudate lobe) of fish-liver. As for the resemblance of the child to its parents: If a man has sexual intercourse with his wife and gets discharge first, the child will resemble the father, and if the woman gets discharge first, the child will resemble her.”

Ibn Kathir narrates a similar version from al-Bayhaqi:

He (ibn Salam) went to the Prophet and said, ‘I shall ask you three things for which only a prophet would know the answers. They are…what causes a child to resemble his father or his mother?’ “He replied, ‘Gabriel told me of these previously… And if the male’s liquid precedes that of the female, he will resemble the child, while if the female’s liquid precedes that of the male, she will resemble the child.’

“Gabriel” supposedly informed Muhammad that the child would look either like his father or mother depending on whoever discharges their liquid first. If the man happens to sexually climax ahead of the woman, then the offspring will look like him. But if the woman does so then the child will physically resemble her. Nothing could be further from the truth.

To begin, many children born to victims of violent rape have resembled their mothers. Are we to conclude that these terrified women gleefully climaxed ahead of the perverts while they were brutally violated?

We will now expose this prophet pretender. A basic knowledge of biology will reveal Muhammad’s error. The sequence of discharge, that is, whether the man or the woman climaxes first, has no influence on the resemblance of the future child. The statement of Muhammad actually contains several errors. Firstly, the sperm of the man and the ovum of the woman are not fighting or racing against each other to see who is going to win the competition. On the contrary, they need to meet and unite and then the physical appearance of the child is determined by the combination of the characteristics of both. Usually children have characteristics of both sides. For example, the form of the nose may resemble the father’s but the color of the eyes may be those of the mother, etc. It is not an either-or competition as asserted by Muhammad, but a combination of both elements, even if a child resembles one side of the family more closely than the other.

Additionally, Muhammad was talking about the observable discharge of the man and of the woman, which his contemporaries were familiar with. And this is the worst error in Muhammad’s statement. The female discharge of fluid during intercourse has absolutely nothing to do with the genetical information that the child receives because the female discharge does not contain the ovumThe sexual fluids released by women during arousal and intercourse have the sole purpose of making intercourse enjoyable and these fluids are released only in the vagina – where intercourse takes place.

On the other hand, the ovum remains in the fallopian tubes during intercourse. The ovum can be fertilized only within a short period of about 12 to 24 hours after ovulation. After that, the ovum disintegrates if it was not fertilized there. In other words, if not fertilized in the fallopian tubes the ovum is already dead when it reaches the uterus, let alone the vagina where the observable sexual fluids are. The sexual fluids of the man and the woman meet and mix in the vagina but the ovum is not there. Moreover, only the sperm can penetrate the cervix to move towards the ovum in the fallopian tubes. The rest of the sexual fluids of both man and woman remain in the vagina. In particular, the sexual fluids of the woman do not play a role any more where sperm and ovum meet and when the characteristics of the new child are decided, that is when sperm and ovum unite their chromosomes.

Muhammad’s answer was a gross scientific error that he attributed to “Gabriel.” If Muhammad is to be believed, then this means that Allah is responsible for Muhammad’s gross scientific blunder and mistaken notion of genetics. Muhammad’s claim that “Gabriel” gave him the answer proves that all other revelations that he received from Allah are also dubious. Since we are today in a position of knowing the truth about genetics, Muhammad’s mistaken answer proves beyond any reasonable doubt that he was a false prophet. He failed the test to prove his prophethood. And as if the above scientific blunder is not enough, the Qur’an also states that the semen is formed between the ribs and the backbone.

Surah 86:5-7: Now let man but think from what he is created! He is created from a drop emitted – Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs. (Yusuf Ali)

Allah forgot why he created the testicles. Both sperm and male sex hormones are produced in two plum sized glands called the testes. The testes lie in a sac called the scrotum which hangs outside the body. This design helps to maintain a set temperature, slightly below body temperature, which is essential for the production of healthy sperm.

Fittingly, Islam began in the darkness of a cave. The beginning of its revelation emerged under the cover of darkness. Its teachings are both erroneous and satanic in nature. In concurrence with this darkness, Muslims are commanded to bow in the direction of a Black Stone whenever they perform their prayers. Allah commands them to bow towards the same Black Stone that was venerated by the pagans before the coming of Islam. In contrast, the Holy Bible warns us:

Leviticus 26:1: Do not make for yourselves worthless idols. You must not erect for yourselves a carved statue or a sacred pillar and you must not put a stone as a sacred showpiece in your land to bow down toward itI am Jehovah your God.

Absolute truth exists. And truth will not contradict itself. Thus, both Islam and Christianity cannot be true. One or the other has to be true. Either it is acceptable to bow towards a stone or it is not. Both cannot be true. This is not a trivial matter because it demonstrates that either Allah or Jehovah is the true God. Our eternal salvation lies in the hands of only one of them. Think very carefully! Would a Holy God encourage us to continue in the sin of idolatry of the pagans?

Leviticus 11:45: “You must be holy for I am holy.”

1 Corinthians 10:14: “Therefore, my beloved ones, flee from idolatry.”

Jehovah made it clear that regardless of what other pagan nations were doing, he would not tolerate any form of idolatry among his people.

Exodus 20:5: You must not bow down to them nor be induced to serve them, because I Jehovah your God am a God exacting exclusive devotion.

2 Corinthians 6:14-17: Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship do righteousness and lawlessness have? Or what sharing does light have with darkness. Further, what harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what portion does a faithful person have with an unbeliever? And what agreement does God’s temple have with idols? For we are a temple of a living God. Just as God said: “I shall reside among them and walk among them, and I shall be their God, and they will be my people.” “Therefore get out from among them and separate yourselves. Quit touching the unclean thing and I will take you in,” says Jehovah.

THE QUR’AN INSTRUCTS MUSLIMS TO SEARCH AND KILL THE UNBELIEVERS

Surah 9:5: “Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them.” (Pickthall)

Surah 8:12: I will instill terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them.” (Yusuf Ali)

Surah 8:65: “O Prophet! Rouse the Believers to the fight.” (Yusuf Ali)

THE BIBLE INSTRUCTS CHRISTIANS TO SEARCH AND SAVE THE UNBELIEVERS

Matthew 28:19-20: Go and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

And one of the teachings that the true Disciples of Jesus will teach to the “people of all the nations are the words taught by Jesus in Matthew 5:44-45:

However, I say to you: Continue to love your enemies and to pray for those persecuting you; that you may prove yourselves sons of your Father who is in the heavens, since he makes his sun rise upon wicked people and good and makes it rain upon righteous people and unrighteous.

Herein rests the great difference between the teachings of Islam and Christianity. While Islam teaches Muslims to kill, Christianity teaches us to forgive and even to love our enemies. While true Christianity grew by the shed blood of its martyrs, Islam grew by spilling the blood of those who opposed it. It is about time we expose this deceit about Islam being the religion of peace.

Muhammad received his calling in the darkness of a cave. His initial reaction was one of terror as he believed that the angel that was sent to deliver the Qur’an was a demon. In the final assessment, we can see that the very first revelation that Muhammad received – the seeds out of which Islam sprouted began amidst a violent and dark encounter with some form of a spirit being in the cave of Hira. And Islam is built on the foundation of this dark and fearsome encounter.

Muslim leaders try to silence all who attempt to expose the evil teachings of the Qur’an. They are afraid that the light of truth from the Holy Bible will penetrate the darkness of Islam. To liberate sincere Muslims from the spiritual darkness of Islam, we must direct them to the illuminating light of spiritual truths found in the Holy Bible.

John 8:12: Therefore, Jesus spoke again to them, saying: “I am the light of the world. He that follows me will not walk in darkness, but will acquire the light of life.”
